Live Auctions

This functional app brings bidders together with a variety of online auction houses. The content is fairly organized but navigation isn't as intuitive as it could be, so these a learning curve of trial and error. There are a few annoying bugs and glitches - one such glitch persistently drags you backward as you try to scroll forward. Needless to say, progress is slow going for that feature, and it can be exasperating. All in all, while the app has its issues, it manages to get the job done.

This app used to be good. Or at least, it used to be actually functional. I'm not sure why but in the last month or so the app has completely fallen to pieces. No longer to list favourited items by Starting Soonest without it showing you EVERY item you've ever favourited - meaning you'll see a few dozen Sold items before seeing any upcoming ones. Notifications are broken as well so sometimes you'll miss items and be notified AFTER theyre sold. Bad app now, might as well just use the website.

Now, "lots away" doesn’t update until i enter live auction. I have to do it every time that i want an update of "lots away" Useless! Notifications for 10 lots away = lot sold 10 lots ago. I have missed so many lots. I typically bid higher for things I want to keep and hold for years. You are missing out on more revenue for having an app that doesn't work.

Arg, another good auction lost due to glitches! This has happened many times using this app. I don't understand why I hit place bid button 5 times and Nothing! I am so tired of wasting my time watching auctions and getting excited to have the place bid button not work at time of auction. 👎👎👎👎👎

This app is frequently so slow that it doesn't work. I have lost bids because of the lagging, and that means I also lose sales and money. The other apps aren't so horrible that people won't use them if this isn't fixed. If too many sales are taking place at the same time and slowing down the system, you are going to have to assign time slots.

Many time you don't get approved to bid till it's to late. Most coins/bills go for way to much and can be found at local or online dealers cheaper. You never know shipping until after you win things. Waste of time and after you win a few things you realize you overspend. Soon as I receive the few things I won deleting this garbage.

I actually came here to leave a less than perfect review. I've been using this app for years now and I absolutely love liveauctioneers. They are in my opinion the best online auctioneer / networking out there, better than liveauctioneers, so much better than hibid. My only complaint is that something recently broke, pages, listings not loading or loading incomplete across several devices.

Totally unreliable app. Worst every day. The list of auctions on the Calendar menu is in no order, takes long time to load and once it seems loaded, it won't stop changing while looking it up, making you get even more lost on the list. With perfect WiFi connection, your bids take long time, losing any chance to win anything. You're waiting for a lot to be live and suddenly it's already sold. I can now only bid with Live Auctioneers from my laptop, which is almost never. Uninstalling.

Auctions live or online can be a great way to get the things you most desire for a reasonable or even lower price than you could get if you shop at your local antique store. They are highly stimulating and can be a bit addictive! Research your item, have a plan and have a limit in how much your willing to pay for the item. And don't forget, there is a buyer's premium that will be added on at the end as well as shipping & handling. THIS PARTICULAR APP is SLOOOW!! Which I find very frustrating.

App continues to hang- sooo slow loading items: NOT good for auction. Decided to try website, and within minutes, pic of melted computer appeared with error message. Problems are not on my end.

they appear to be advertising for more items than they actually have available for auction. There have been several occurances that I've bid on silver/gold/platnum which only recieved 1 bid (mine) that I lost suddenly, sold at almost double the value. I haven't bid on anything else, but their service is not worth pursuing for my purposes. I do not recommend it.

They support all of my favorite local auction houses. Always responds quickly to any tech support needed, even during an auction!

I have enjoyed using this site to buy items. I'd like a search option to search a specific Auction House as well as the entire site. Bid issues: Delays during an auction. Example: nothing going on for several seconds, then a sudden run of bids; or suddenly showing sold; or a new lot appears & my bid posts to the new lot instead of the the lot I was bidding on. Frustrating... also, when repeated messages post: Bid faster! Bid faster! Bid faster!

Very glitchy. When I'm watching my saved lots it doesn't refresh even if I manually do it. It will say your item is 15 lots away then never change. I have to restart the app to refresh. Sometimes not all my favorites are in my saved lots so I will miss out on those item. Today only one auction of the two I had saved items in we're in my favorites and they were going off at the same time I had to jump around constantly. I sometimes watch over a 100 lots and it gets to be a pain in the...

Very cumbersome. I don't want to fight with an app after spending a busy day. Suggest you streamline asap.

App glitched:Took my $600 bid for a Chanel fringe bag &jumped it to the next item of an ugly Moncler coat & applied my bid on that ugly coat.✔my profile page, showed me w-No bids or wins,then got notified I won that ugly coat for$600.I immediately contacted Mynt auction house&explained,&was told"nobody else complained of glitch on their end"&they were not going to investigate.I sent screenshots of bidding history to prove it,&they said I can cancel but still pay$150 sellers premium to Mynt.-Niki

The new updated app is poor and does not work like the previous app which was much better. The new app is unresponsive meaning you don't receive auction updates for the item that is being auctioned during the live auction. Even the "bid" button grays out and you can't place a bid nor do you know which item is up for auction as the app does not progress through the auction. This has gone on for over a month now since the app was updated with the new version. Please fix the problem. Thank you.

This is worst app in the auction history. Liveactioneers has always has had issues with their site,and even though they have improved it over the years,this app is not showing images for the saved items,keeps glitching,and would not allow you to bid and would simply throw you out of the live auction,seconds after you join it . Would not recommend it at all

Missed few items because poor quality of app after waiting for half an hour. One small item that I managed to win for 600 dollars total, wanted 200 dollars for shipping. If I know the cost of shipping, I could calculate that before bidding.

Very slow. Takes a very long time to load. Notifications are late causing you to miss auction items. If you hit placr bid live, BEWARE! Load times may cause you to bid way higher than you intended as bids accumulate while your click loads. If you wait on it, often times it goes off without warning and sells under your feet for cheap. Someone is profiting from this app.

Useless. I'm in the industry and call assure you that this app is a frustrating waste of time and energy. I just use their website, which is buggy but infinitely better than this utterly worthless app.

This app is trash, I'm sorry. It's impossible to follow an auction that's gone live on this turd. You enter the live auction and it simply stops updating within a few seconds, so you have no idea what's going on. If you want to bid on some items, don't waste your time with the app, you'll end up getting screwed over. Stick to the website.

Horrendous app. Been inundated with SCAMMERS since using the app. Also extremely high shipping costs in access of $400 for something that costs just $38 to ship to the UK with added charges for invoices you never asked for No refunds been given on the items won. Several emails asking for money hourly. Do not use

The app does not offer the same features as the browser version. One vital thing missing is the messages feature. One can not follow up on communications with auction houses through the app which is quite annoying.

i cannot find sold listings on the website too many popups and from reviewd it looks like the app isnt much better

The price jump automatically from 1 to 500 .. the app is bedding by itself.. is not real actually

I find it very interesting that all the winning bids are almost exactly half of the smallest estimated value: every single time for about 200 items..! Example wrist watch estimated value $1500-$3000. Beg to guess what the watch sold for $750 yep.... Sometimes $700. But never ever did that item sell for less..! $400. A saw a quartz watch that was highly worn with obvious signs of heavy use sell for $400. You can buy that watch new for $500. It wasn't special and made me very suspicious.

This site will not work on my phone or my pc. All other auction sites work perfectly and quickly. This bloated, data gobbling site routinely crashes my PC and freezes up my phone. The difference between using a site like invaluable and liveauctioneers is like driving a Mercedes vs a 20 ton garbage truck. Any auction house that exclusively uses liveauctioneers will never get another bid from me.
