B12X / B15X and MPA200BT
The loudspeakers use Bluetooth 4 wireless technology to communicate with the app, so you will need a mobile device running Android 5 or higher.
BEHRINGER LIVE CONTROL allows the user to:
Remotely control input and output levels, plus EQ selection
Remotely control general speaker settings (including lock functionality)
Update speaker firmware (notification on settings screen when connected to the Internet)
In master / slave mode:
- Adjust analog inputs individually per speaker or general Bluetooth wireless technology input level
- Set balance for the speaker output
The app does not play any sound. It is for remote control purposes only. Music level indicators are located above the input wheels.

Wow Behringer, what a useless waste of space. Seems like your app has problems connecting to about every Android phone out there and not a peep on an update or perhaps even a solution to the problem. My screen gets stuck at the loading/scanning screen despite being paired with the MPA200BT. Expected a bit better. A buggy App is one thing, but one that just flat-out doesn't work is unacceptable.
Stuck in scanning mode with my current phone and tab even after manual update of FW on the speakers, but managed to connect with an older phone as previously pointed out by others. Gives a very unseriuos impression of Behringer as a company when they obviously have known about this problem for years, but fails to take any action. Also a big minus for not having numeric adjustments on the app (if at all accessible).
Easy to use simple app. Pairing the phone took a few tries as did updating but worked great to do mixing from the audience for our simple outdoor church service. Switch between music and speech DSP meant the mix sounded decent enough depending on what was happening. Best of all was I could maintain control without being a distraction from my seat. Great sounding device. App not 100% but good enough on my older Samsung J3 phone.
Update: I was able to connect to the MPA200BT using my wife's Galaxy Tab. I used her app to update the firmware of the MPA200BT. Once updated, I could connect to it using my Galaxy S7. So if you can't connect with your device, borrow a friends that is a different model/brand, install the app and see if you can connect. If so, update the firmware and then try connecting with your device. App has an unusual interface. It might be a little easier than using the screen on the back of the MPA200BT, but not by much.
It works well once you can pair it properly. Need the latest firmware on the PA. There is a way to upgrade the firmware manually but took a lot of fiddling around. The app needs updating to avoid pairing issues.

Does not work with my S8 also. Just keeps scanning. Forever scanning :( shame, the speaker is great.
scans but does not connect to the mpa200bt from my samsung s7 edge. Useless. Contacted Music Group technical support who are looking into it. 🤞🤞

Could not pair app with my Note 8. Used Huawei P20, updated firmware and now app works with my Samsung too.
Will not load to my Samsung. BT connects for audio, but ap will not load to control my mpa200BT. Very dissapointing.

I Would give this 5 stars....but...... It works GREAT with my Galaxy Tablet, which is the way I was planning on using the app. It has great range, is intuitive and easy to use. However....It does NOT work with my S7 phone. The same thing that everyone else has mentioned happens. It just locks up on the "Scanning" screen. I have reached out to Behringer and I am waiting to hear what they say. If it doesn't work on your phone, try your tablet.
Doesen't work with s8 samsung or tab a samsung never connects to a mpa200bt. App needs serious work. Paid a lot for the speaker because of the app controls. Will not recommend as a working Dj
Won't recognize my B15X speakers even though they are bluetooth connected to my Android device. Just scans the whole time.
App gets stuck in a scanning loop. Android 8.1 with Nexus 5X, Nokia 5 and Nokia 7 Plus.

The app doesn't connect to my mpa200bt although I'm connected to bluetooth and can stream music via bluetooth. It just says "scanning"
This is the second phone I have tried to pair with my MPA200BT and I can get music playing but this app will not connect with the device!
If you are planning on using a Samsung 8, don't bother. The phone continually scans, but will not connect. The Behringer MPA200BT is a great little speaker and I can connect by Bluetooth, but the app will not connect at all. I hope there is a fix for this as I'd love the functionality to control from a distance at weddings.
Update 12/21/18: I updated the firmware on the speaker by using an older Android phone and now the app works with my S9! Previous review; Will not connect to my S9 plus. I can connect Bluetooth audio, but not the app. Please help! Update: checked it with a Galaxy S6 and a Galaxy S5 with the same result. Update: It does work with an older phone with Android 6....PLEASE FIX THIS!
I can't connect my Samsung note 8 to this app even that is connected bluetooth and play music the app stay always scanning. What can I do to fix it ?

As a studio engineer, I am not unaccustomed to solving niggly little problems even with brand new equipment. As other posters have pointed out, in order for newer Android versions to properly connect on Bluetooth you must first use an older Android version to update the speaker's firmware to version 1.2 (my S8+ then connected to the 200bt). The app works very well, with the exception that the gain controls, particularly on the output, are far too fast. that could have been better implemented.
