Live Traffic NSW

Rubbish app. Out dated information all the time. Should be deleted 2017 etc long gone. Information should be no older than six hours. Home page first thing to come up on the actual day of search. Not weeks, months, years old. Get rid of that stuff daily. Real at the minute information re dangerous conditions due to weather events, all closures, detours and maps. WT!!???? Not interested in rooting around for hours hoping to stumble on live to the minute traffic conditions. It's not hard people.

This app was working a few days ago but today when I have looked to check my upcoming trip this weekend, there are now "zero" incidents which I find hard to believe. I think this app is not working as any trip I create shows zero incidents. Guess I will have to take my chances as I will be travelling through recently flood affected areas!

I get a response to please respond by email as they experience data issues. Not worth my time. It's everywhere and a classic example is Menangle bridge which is closed and been closed for days however it is a open path and close path (very random) on the app. These apps need to work and work when needed. This app is a big contribution to the problem of people driving getting to a road closure and thinking should I drive through or drive back and detour for an hour!

Nothing showing up. All boxes ticked. In the CBD of Parramatta and no results even though I can see 10 different things from my balcony. Latest update had caused this issue. PLS fix

Many thanks. The site is now working with the VPN on since my original post. All of a sudden since this afternoon I am unable to view anything on the app or on the website unless I disable my VPN. Using a VPN is an additional layer of security which is so essential these days so please go back to the original version.

I used to like this app far more than those for other states which I have used. After recent updates there are so many yellow dots all over each other that it is impossible to tell at a glance if there are any major incidents or roadwork which would cause difficulty with any travel I wish to undertake. It appears to me that the app has become fairly useless for the average user.

Where has the traffic information gone? Nearest freeway has 2 lanes closed for last 3 plus hours and this app doesn't feel the need to tell you the traffic is backed up for over 30km! You can see the red on the map when you expand it. Looks like someone broke the government app that used to have the information that was required.

Does not work .... just says not connected to internet.... so how did I just uninstall and dowload and reinstall it ???.... of cause I am connected... just this rubbish app can't tell the difference

Extremely helpful and informative and very straight forward. . I've found the app to be an invaluable aid especially when used in conjunction with my navigation apps and has saved me a lot of abortive driving. My preferred app seemed to be very slow to alert me of road closures and the other is quick to show alternative routes but no reason why the route was changed. I've only had the app a few days but I haven't had any issues associated with peak usage.

Great app when it works. It just seems to glitch and keeps saying "updating". Tried it on data and Wi-Fi, also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No success. At a time like this when knowing which roads are closed and which roads are safe is so important, it's frustrating that the app isn't up to spec.

Was a good app but now it just says you are not connected to the internet. Reinstall didn't work.

You provide the filter to select others states as a whole. Request you to consider implementing the filter to select other states individually, rather than turning them all on or all off.

In the middle of this current rain emergency the app tells us that today (07/02/22) there are zero incidences from flooding or landslides. Seems to me the incidents are over before the app wakes up. Lift your game!!!!!

Looked for updates regarding the Albion Park Rail bypass and guess what? The road has not been updated onto the App. The version I have us Feb 2022. The road has been open since last year and is now the major north/south route.

It's been more than a month and still no change? I am not sure what is going on here, voice alert is used so that issues can be relayed without looking at the screen. I think the people who manage this app are ignoring safety issues. How to change the accent of the speaker of the alerts? Needs to be something more neutral and easily intelltigible to all people (considering target audience). Google provides accents to suit the region.For such an important app I think this is a must to address.

After most recent update there are no live incidents and no live cameras. What's going on? 27/12/21 - Not for the first time during a busy period in this app, cameras are failing to update. At 7.45am this morning, cameras are showing what it was like at 10pm last night. Not helpful. Have re- installed app and it didn't fix the problem.

Continually getting the message that the live update failed or was cancelled. Not much point to the app of basic functionality like this isn't working. Can't save trips, look for cameras - it's just not working. Why? I've got a Samsung 8. Thanks

The information is never up to date. Better off checking Facebook pages for local road information.

Loaded the app and tried to access live traffic of Windsor Bridge and can only get 1 still pic. Should you have a continuous video footage 🤔

Have noticed more recent updates for regional ACT areas that are in NSW. The whole point is to visit family who live in ACT. People who live 40kms and sometimes only zero to 20 kms away, (as the crow flies) but are in NSW deserve a more detailed map. Otherwise the ap is perfect.

This app really has gone downhill since the layout changed. Among other issues, saved cameras open to a historical date which cannot be refreshed - I couldn't care less what the traffic was like in 2020, I need to know what it's like TODAY. Nowhere near as user friendly as the old layout. Disappointing.

Since last update "I agree"not active and can't scroll as complete conditions fit on the screen, so unusable The problem is that it won't scroll ! Problem fixed promptly, new features are a great improvement. Thanks

Used to a good user-friendly app that was pretty accurate & easy to use. Earlier this month ( Dec 20) some woodducks decided an upgrade was needed & we now have a nightmare that requires parameters to be set every time you want to use it. Really clever that one. May common sense soon prevail....again.

I have been using this app for a while with no issues. Today i need to find out about road closures due to living in a bushfire area and the map wont load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled still no luck. Tried on 3 phones 2 andriod 1 iOS . No mention of problem on the fb page. If there is a site issue it would be good to know.....

Clearly isn't up to handling peak demand periods (wouldn't update most of today during big bushfire day). Even if/when it does update, it (and the desktop map) gets road closures wrong anyway , so it's kind of worse than no map at all, because you assume it's going to help you plan, and then you get stuffed around.

Keeps crashing therefore useless. Update, message received from Live Traffic with explanation. App now working fine as had in the past. Thanks for resolving. Restart and reinstall did not work originally. Following your first message re fix ran with no problem.

Pretty sure my review was just deleted, so here it is again... Great on main roads bit for someone who needs to travel via back roads not so. Whole bunch of back roads were closed but this app showed them opened. Is it only for main roads or ones that are deemed the "more important"
