It will be nice to be able to set up favorite stations on the Live365 app without having to search for them. Every time I open the app it comes up to the home screen. To put it nicely, it is frustrating using the app. The app for the original Live365 (pre 2018 Live365) was much better. I think Live365 will gain more listeners if the app is improved.
This is a really unique web radio platform with a lot of really unique stations. The only problem I have with it is a design issue that is really annoying. There is no "exit app" option. Once you start the app, it runs in the background, untill you either go into Android settings and "force stop" it or reboot your device.
Very slow and unreliable streaming app. I've tried using it on several occasions so I could listen to Radio Free Raleigh, an alternative/classic rock/indie station. The app was always slow to "load" the station. resulting in s dreaded "spin cycle" or, when it did launch the station, it was rare for me to drive 3 to 5 minutes before the app would lose the station and just stop. Extremely disappointing and not a good way for you to listen to an internet music station in your car.
It's really hard to give this app a good rating. I don't have a problem with the content, and I have little of the problems others have had. The big issue that I have with this app is I cannot close it. I can't dismiss it or swipe it away. The only way I can actually stop the app is to go into the app settings and force it closed. Mostly not worth my time opening the app, as the music occasionally will just start itself without me triggering it.
The App definitely isn't perfect by any means. Like not showing the correct pic, or ANY pic of what is actually playing, or auto-starting/stopping at embarrassing times, or switching to a different song title too soon. Live365 told me months ago it would update the App fixing these issues & others. Was also told the pics come from a different database, than what I upload. I'm guessing they long scrapped the plans to update. Anyway, I love having my station WJST Jet Set, under Easy Listening. 🙂
This is a horrible app! When you get an app like this you have to search for the station you want to listen to. I've done that and I've put it into favorites. But each time you open the app it comes up to the home screen and there's no way to get to favorites from there. You have to go into the personal section click on favorites then click on your station. Plus it does not come up to the last station played. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
Android Head Unit? DONT TAKE THE UPDATE! It is almost unuseable now. No support for landscape orientation was bad enough but now it wont resume playing after sleep mode and so far the only way to start again is to exit app completely. Went from a couple of taps to a big process, not cool for driving.
very hard to navigate. poor selection of stations. I used this app 3 or 4 years ago and I could only get 1 station that I liked. now can't even get that one. search feature does not work. actual rating 0 ☆ . time to get busy and make this thing work or forget it. uninstalled .
Too bad that the code for old app isn't available from the original creators. This one is not as efficient. There seems to be no ongoing upgrades or bug fixes. I took it off and just share my station's vanity URL for listeners. The frustration of the app could help you lose listeners!
They offer you advertising claiming there is no contract and then bill you every month directly to your debit card, so you can't just put a stop payment on it, you have to change your debit card. There is no phone contact to talk to anyone, and when you leave them a message online, they don't get back to you until they want to solicit you to advertise for them even more! At that point they'll "take care of your account no problem", and continue to bill you. Biggest scam ever.
This is the best app to access Big Valley Radio in the Central Valley. They have the best classic rock and new country. I live their blues show every night at ten. Not to mention punk rock over night. Live 365 is a great app that I recommend.
At first I loved the app however I quickly discovered that the app starts playing music all by itself at all times of the day. The phone can be sitting on my desk and it will suddenly start playing. It happens all the time, at home at work, when sleeping. It doesn't matter. The app starts all by itself. It's got to go!
Doesn't display the right song playing when using the Bluetooth setting in my car, it will display some songs but not all, please fix the issue for a better rating!
For Boardcasters: There is so much more that would make this a excellent app. The Graphics are poor. The ability to upload music from the app would be great for Btoadcasters. Have a simple music player would help also for those that don't have Sam Boardcaster or simular.
Please fix the sudden dropping stream issue. It will run good for like 5 minutes then stop playing for no reason forcing me to restart mid song. I really like using Live365 when it works.
Would have given more stars if the app or website would let me login on my phone to edit my station!! All I can say experience has been horrible!! Only way I can set my schedule is when I'm home on my desktop computer very frustrating😡
We're a content providor on Live365 :) and this app is my favorite way to keep tabs on our programming. It's stable easy to use runs in the background on my phone and it sounds good. A+ Shelby LaPre, RADIOPOWER
This is in no way the same app or kind of app that it's old namesake was. Thus for those of us who used the old Live 365 app this one will be more than a tad on the disappointing side. However, it is still a very good one worthy of a download and use.
I like how responsive it it, I dislike that it doesn't have any way to exit from it. You can stop a song, but the app stays running...want to be able to clear it
This app and company is definitely legit. They have a great platform and I have been able to log in through both my phone and tablet to access my station and make changes remotely.
It's good, it jus keep playing the same songs all day, and then the next day is a different group of songs, and they're played all day long, other than tht it's good
this company led alot of people and stations that they were going away. i use to pay for a subscription through hear. they did away with alot but yet still stayed around. well now u need adds free payment option if thats how yall choose and u need casting added hear. this might make this good again. the app is accessible now for blind and vip users of talkback yet, now its made better, alot needs to return.
Hey you Live 365 people your app crashes every 5 to 10 min on a tablet. While the app is fully functional it does not work consistently enough the website works better, please work on this.
it doesn't go 10 minutes until it stops. I think it is trying to buffer but it can't. it's a shame because the one station I want to listen to is only on this.
I love this I go to sleep every night with my headphones 🎧 on listening to the live Sherlock Holmes murder mystery channel/station... Blocks out the TV so my wife can watch her shows, as well as background noise; such as loud traffic ⛔ 🚦 or vehicles 🚗 🛻 with loud music 🎶 📻... Really helps focus on sleeping and 🚫 not watching a 🎥 🍿 movie instead...
Has lots of great music, I thought all music had live DJs, this is just a compilation of internet stations, it would be nice to have a kbs to know how much data you're using.
if you like progressive rock album Rock then search for A-1 Audio Legacy FM on Live365 and you will be immediately surprised at the variety a real rock you will hear on that radio station. also check out retro album Rock which is another station on this app. it is real nice to know you can break free of rap on this platform.
I love being able to listen to Youngblood Radio. I hate that you can't close the app, and it continues to run in the background. Please fix this issue!!!
Close the app and music randomly comes on, like at 3am, or whenever. Must uninstall rather than simply closing. Good music but terrible app.
This app is complete garbage most of the time!!! I love being able to listen to music and my favorite internet radio station "The After Burner Rocks" and you can't do that with this app. It stops about every two minutes or so to "load" but never does, it basically just stops, so I have to go in restart the app and try again, every. two. minutes. This reloading also happens when going from mobile to Wi-Fi. Having wifi doesn't help with the load it doesn't seem to matter what connection I have there is always problems. Please fix!!! It is very discouraging.
