Previous version of the app would stay signed in and I would receive chats even when the app was supposedly signed out (opening the app would bring me to a sign in page but I would be receiving banner notifications of new chats). New version won't even display properly on an LG V40. Screen is skewed and can't open chats at all, getting a "your browser doesn't support xx" message across the top that I can't even read. Unusable, sticking with just using the browser on Windows.
Their app leave a lot to be desired. Many times it keeps me logged in even though I am logged out, no way to customize their annoying notification sound inside the app. Weird glitches (like customer's and agent's texts merged on other concurrently running machine). Their Windows app always autostarts with Windows and there is no option to turn it off. Very amateurish or ignorant programming.
A great app from a great company! I have used Live Chat for several years, and it really makes a big difference keeping my customers happy. The only problem I have not been able to get the company to fix, is that when I am speaking on the telephone to somebody, and a customer tries to chat with me, the app does not notify me of the waiting chat. Please add an audible alert that I can hear while speaking on the phone in a normal call perhaps something like a call waiting notification.
It keep on "Reconnecting". I have no internet issues but it never stops "Reconnecting". Cannot use this app to chat with online visitors at all. I prefer other Chat apps. Going to remove Livechat from my website and will get another provider to take over. I've loss too many customers due to Livechat. Its a big no no for websites looking forward to provide good customer service/ relation. Very very bad app.
1. A live chat app that takes forever to open (10 to 15 seconds) no kidding! (I use a phone which has 6 GB RAM and SD 710). By that time customer would exit without engaging with us further. 2. Can't access chat archives. 3. Can't attach images while chatting It's better to open Chrome and use mobile web of Live Chat than using their app. It's hat bad!
The app is great especially if you want to chat remotely. However as mentioned below the app often says "no internet connection". Restarting the app seems to solve the problem on short terms, it would be great however if this would be solved with an update. Other than that it works great and support is good.
Recent UI update is garbage. Back button in a chat closes the app, it is less responsive, the app logs you out when you leave it in the background and when another agent is logged in it will show you a very not mobile friendly page.. in a mobile app. It's like a bad iframe.
design is fugly, functionality is limited. often has trouble connecting to the internet or disconnects randomly, so i miss chats. sound notifications are still on even though theyre disabled... now with the recent update, the notifications became worse as well. an overall disappointment. :/
Our rental company is currently using this program for our guests to ask questions about our rental properties however when I have the app opened on my brand new Note 8 it will tell me I have no internet connection when I do. I actually was sitting right beside my server had full strength and full Wi-Fi and internet connection. However I have to use the desktop version and convert my screen on my cell phone to desktop so I can actually use it. It is a real aggravation I would really appreciate it if this company would get this fixed so we don't have to switch to a new life chat app. If we cannot make this functional then we cannot be functional and profitable in our work.
Deleted this app a week ago due to annoying text notifications. Because I didn't 'log out' before uninstalling, it kept collecting chats and I have a page of people timing out for this reason... While I wasn't working, and was logged off on the desktop app. Great job.
Previous version was way better. This one takes ages to load, you can no longer copy a message by just tapping on it, you have to select the whole message now. Hope this will be fixed soon.
I would give this a 5-star rating if it worked as well as it did on the computer. There are many times where unless I'm staring at my screen, the notification does not ring, and therefore I miss the chat. I wish it was more reliable in that way.
Of course is a great app. The only thing it is happening at least to my phone, it keeps sending notifications, even when I'm logged out from the LV account. If logged out , u don't want to keep receiving any notfs until back online again.
Been a user for several years. Definitely worth the subscription price. New lite version is not favorable at all. This is the best one. Keeps me informed in ways I truly appreciate. Customer for life as long as this mobile version continues to perform just as it has been. Using on Note 20 Ultra 5G. Five stars well deserved.
The recent update was not good, I face so many issues. It takes forever to load the chat screen. Please fix this or revert to the old app. Thanks!
The apps freezes when chats come in, makes me lose contacts many times, it doesn't connect properly to the network. Not reliable at all.
App is file but very slow. Also i am getting relaod issue on the screen ...my internet is working so far...there is lots of bugs with this app ..you guys need to solve the all issues
Have been facing trouble with the app since more than 1 month now. And I am very disappointed. Can someone suggest an alternative of LiveChat? I am going to cancel my subscription and remove LiveChat from my website.
Very disappointed update on android. It used to be fast. But now it's too much time taking using templates on android.
Disabling background option does not make the app not work in background. Also, app continues with notications when my agent is set as inactive.
Poor experience. We keep missing chats with customers, since the app bugs out regularly & does not give us notifications or tones each time a customer opens a chat. Disappointed :(
With the version from the last one year or so everything has been alright. Would be even greater if they incorporate tickets and chat archives in it.
You need to make improvements. The ticket management on the android phones aren't responsive and as a result cant perform the actions available on the desktop.
It doesn't log out when your shift ends and you continue receiving chat requests 24/7. I had to uninstall and use the browser version instead.
This app is terrible. I don't get notified of a chat when logged in but then, in the middle if the night and logged off i start getting chat notifications. Insane
The Last update is horrible!! Updates are supposed to be made for a better usage, right? Now it's harder to use the app and slower.
earlier version was better, in this version as u click back, it closes the app, missing potential customers.
The app used to be great and work well. This weekend they did some kind of update that is very disappointing. The chats do not load, the app is lagging, the canned responses cannot be typed any more and you have to select from a list, I no longer have the ability to see tickets, and it is no longer good for working from the phone.
