Easy and quick. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of my visit. The sign up process was simple, clean, and fast. I was able to sign up and put in my medical history in a cpl of minutes then see a physician within 2 minutes of completing my med history. The video was clear with no technical issues at all. When the visit was done I was able to read the visit notes and put in multiple email addresses to have the notes sent to my PCP. Outstanding!!
The reason I'm giving any stars is because of my experiences with the providers and not the system. I have two providers that I see regularly and they are exceptional. Livehealth, the system and app, is buggy. Our video calls drop constantly, freeze, service is interrupted and its just jot conducive to an appointment setting. When it wouldn't work on my desktop, I was told my customer service that they couldn't help me and to just use my phone. Their support is rude and curt.
While the therapist I see through LiveHealth is great and very helpful, I have problems with the rest of the service. It's difficult to figure out where to go on the site and the mobile app, and because of technical issues I had to disconnect from a therapy appointment and have another one started. LiveHealth charged for both calls. The cost after insurance was only $10, but it's still disappointing that it had to charge for both calls when one of the hour long sessions was ended 3 minutes in.
Excellent providers. But very poor support. I have had many technical issues, as have my providers. Billing and technical issues are handled via customer service reps, who can only contact tech support or billing via internal email (!). I still have unresolved issues, which I have been asking about for the past 4 months.
This is a terrible app. It has more glitches, problems, freezes, restarts, reboots, uninstall- reinstall, poor communication, to easy to fatfinger a response to a question. And no way to go back. Link with email dies not work well, this is all about appointments but it will not send you a calendar invite just an email. Try to find the email! It was sent the day you created the appointment. It's a mess. But there's is nothing to do about it it's the service you have. Maybe they can fixit
I've had a good experience with this app over the last few years and it's continued to improve. I like that you can reach the different medical platforms (medical, pediatric, psyche, etc) from the landing page. There's a collapsible menu to reach your account level settings and features. It preloads some of my past input fields for the appt paperwork but not all. Also, messages dont default uppercase on the first line lol
Could not use the app. Logged in just fine, selected a provider, paid, and then sat waiting until the app would stop functioning and I'd have to start over. Happened 3 times and I gave up. It's faster to drive to an actual doctor's office at this rate. I've used the website before (not the app) with no issues in the past but the app isn't working for me.
DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE while attempting to use telemed. it logged me out 3 times and closed the window each time I was about to see the doctor. it took an hour to get in to see the doctor when it should realistically taken closer to 20 minutes from start to finish if the APP didnt glitch out every time I blinked. I couldnt even just let my screen turn off while I was waiting or I had to start all over again.
The app kept kicking me back to the beginning after having to answer a bunch of questions so I called customer service. Even at midnight I got through to a representative super quick and she helped me schedule the appointment effortlessly. She was super helpful and the 1 physician we seen was really helpful also. Overall super pleased with our experience will definitely be utilizing this resource again.
Connection issues. Tried using this for the first time today and lost connection on both a phone visit and a video visit. Had to call customer service numerous times. I dont feel like the connection issues were from my end. What makes me not want to try this again is having to retype everything over and over, only to have the visit drop and have to start over again. I'm headed to my regular doctors office I guess. Disappointing.
Love the service, hate the app. My biggest gripe at this point is the inability of the app to retain signed-in status. Switching tasks? Signed out. Reopening app? Signed out. Beyond that, maybe despite that, I'm going to keep using the service. It's great to have a provider that's available to talk and provide therapy on the weekends or during a lunch break.
My first time experience was more than I expected. I received text reminders at valuable times. Such as, an hour before, then another 30 minutes, then the login time for my session. These reminder are greatly appreciated for my preparedness. Thanks, plus I didn't leave the house. UPDATE...I'm so thankful for this app, just what I been needing. I'm able to have great doctors online. Very convenient.
I was out of town visiting family when I got sick. This app was easy to use to contact the doctor and order my prescription. The only thing that might be nice to add in is a place to type notes about what is going on. My connection was a little slow so the sound was glitchy and took longer because we kept having to repeat ourselves. I used it twice over this week and it was an easy and fast way to get help while I was out of town.
I signed on today & was assigned a doctor who would call me. The charge to my credit card is supposedly $5. I was given a number to expect the call from. When the number showed up on my phone, it showed up as "scam likely", but I answered & got an automated message that they could not connect me to the provider. The automated voice then, w/o repeat, swiftly rattled off a bunch of numbers & letters for me to call & hung up. I called back & there was no ID of LiveHealth, just basically a hang up.
Constantly dropping calls and connection with the Dr which is causing me to have to log back out and sign back in with the Dr. charging me a bran new copay each time. It's frustrating because it defeats the purpose of the app which was to save time and money. I would give it a .5 star if I could at this point.
I promptly saw a doctor and everything with the service worked great. My one issue for the developers: when it checked my insurance information, it just hung there forever saying checking. I eventually hit the cancel button and it seems to have associated my insurance information to my account.
Literally 5 appointments in a row, and have yet to get a callback from a Dr.(trying since last Thursday 1/20. It is now Monday 1/24). I even called the number in the app and spoke to someone who verified my information and created an appointment. Still nothing. I used it last April 2021, and it was smooth as silk. One of them showed a notification that the Dr. had canceled the appointment, but only after I started looking through the app. "Urgent Care" indeed.
I have been using LiveHealth for over a year and I have always been extremely satisfied. I travel for work and put in long hours so access to a primary provider is difficult. With many options for appointments it is easier fitting appointments into my schedule. Price is reasonable.
quick and easy to use. I didn't get an image of the Dr. the screen where his image should have been was blank but my image came thru good for him. Also the sound cut out a few times and once it had to reconnect. But other than the slight technical issues it was good. I would definitely use it again.
Website doesn't work. I've tried the mobile app, desktop, and Chromebook. Can't access lactation services at all and for psychology visits you have to enter your credit card before you get a cost estimate. Not patient friendly at all.
my only complaint would be that my provider states the audio during our video sessions cuts in and out. I have contacted customer service, but the issue has not been fixed. I have the app on my Pixel (Android) so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Just moved to a new city because of covid displacement and needed to get a refill on my meds before going out on the road for a new job. My insurance told me about the app and so I just downloaded the app today, scheduled a visit with a new psych and had my first appointment. It was very fast, easy and convenient for me and I look forward to using the app later down the road.
I've used this app several times and just love it! It is quick and easy and the providers are great! I would much rather spend 15 mins on the phone in my home than wait in a room with other sick people for three hours for the same outcome! Everyone should try this app! Also the copay is $0 with my insurance so it saves alot of money!
An alright app. It can be a little buggy depending on how the provider has their premeeting stuff configured from what I could tell. The video calls usually work fairly well with a little bit of cutting out here and there, but nothing major. Had an appointment where I was kindof in the dark waiting for a while until the person cancelled late and couldn't tell if it was an issue on the app's end or what so additional clarity could be useful.
