I've never actually used the benefits, but love the convenience of sending the kids with a reference, and letting them purchase what the want!
Fun and easy to order meals. Lots of restaurants that I go to use Liven, there are lots of specials and very easy to earn Liven points as well! you can even send liven dollars to friends and vice versa, I recommend this app!
Since the latest version of the app it has become tricky to use your Liven rewards towards your purchase. Before it was displayed on the same screen, you can toggle to either use it or not towards the payment before pressing pay button. Now you need to remember to press change payment method everytime you want to use your Liven coin. Isn't a big deal if you accumulate a bigger amount before using it but if you use it everytime when paying, it was more convenient before.
Really love this app, so many great dining deals and instant cash back. Also if I've ever had a problem with a vendor it has been resolved by the Liven team instantly!
In general I love this app, however the recent UI changes for the payment screen are unnecessarily complicated. Before it was a quick toggle to use your Liven points where as now there is too much on the screen. Even when speaking to a employee at a restaurant they commented that lots of people get stuck with the new system too.
It is a discount so good, but you have no idea how many times i ended up paying with money only because they make it do hard to understand how to use the reward... (or easy yo gorget to change it, every time you have to enable it)... Then they released the new version (20th April 2021) and they changed that again, looks like they want to amke it even harder to use the free reward 😒 not good.
So far, it's been a great app. u buy foodollars and get extra, ie, i bought $50 at up in smoke for $75 to spend. the app then gives u extra rewards that can also be used to pay for the order cost. once u work out the process, its super fast and easy to pay, u click ready to pay and its literally done. faster than other payment options
Great way to pay for food, as a new user enjoy great freebies and earn money towards future purchases to use when you want. sick of card surcharges? Use Liven and avoid them completely. I haven't had a single issue since installing, definitely recommend.
They offered free food ads with this app at the store. But you needed to download this app. Had to verify using an email to my account. Took over an hour to recieve the email. And I kept checking my inbox and spam box. Waste of time. Paid for my food ate and left before receiving the email.
This used to be a good app but it's just getting more and more complicated. Worse of all, the notifications are just off the charts. Way too aggressive. Constantly bugging you to buy more care packages, etc.
I referred someone to this app and now the app is not going to give me any referral credit. It says on the other person's app that a referral code cannot be applied as it is too long. A referral is a referral. Very disappointed. I have had another bad experience with this app as well where I didn't get the credit. I reported this and wasn't satisfied with the service provided.
If you forget your account details, don't expect to use this app ever again. I logged out and forgot which details I used (I usually use a throwaway for these to test out apps with accounts). No biggie, I can make a new account right? NOPE. I understand that it stops people from making multiple accounts and getting free food, but there is no other way of using the app if you forget your email.
Getting more usable when more resturant joined. And the app itself is good use and navigate, just not sure when I referred soemone, did I get points or not, not that explicit. And only one time not working due to network. Keep it up!
I love this app! Always finding new places to eat. Best of all the underlying currency is LVN which is a cryptocurrency, which provides fantastic utility. You also earn rewards, get discounts and generally benefit. You also have the choice of donating your discount which is a marvellous option. Highly recommend Liven Xx

Smart way to save money on fast food!
I wanted to try free burger special at L' Burger. Scanned QR as required and placed order. However, special was not applied so discovered app deducted full meal price of $11. Couldn't cancel meal to try again with promo code instead. Very time consuming, frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.
Not ready for use. I used the app once and got double charged. To make matters worse, their only advertised contact is via a feedback form that they don't respond to.
Up until now, I've had good experiences collecting Liven points with this app. Last year, Liven introduced Care Packages which were advertised as a way of contributing to restaurants staying open in the context of Melbourne's COVID19 lockdown restrictions by paying for coupons in advance. I purchased a $100 dollar Care Package to support a local restaurant through the COVID19 lockdown restrictions. However, I visited this restaurant yesterday, and I was unfortunately informed at the counter that despite still being listed Liven's app (and Liven still actively selling this restaurant's Care Packages), the restaurant had already retracted their membership from Liven. As a result, I was no longer able to pay using this method. I have no idea what has happened to the $100 that I paid to Liven. I also cannot find any option to reclaim my money/get a refund on the app. There doesn't seem to be any information regarding how to go about this either. I cannot describe how horrified and betrayed I feel from this experience. I have always been a big supporter, and I've been encouraging my friends and family to purchase the Care Packages up until yesterday. I would strongly caution everyone against trusting this app.

App saying not at the venue even I'm at the restaurant, hence can't use to settle the bill despite of $1000 credit. Customer service is hopeless, almost feel like an AI.
