This app is VERY buggy. Biggest issues for me: Hitting back randomly exits you from the app instead of actually taking you to the previous screen. The app will not remember certain settings, biggest one being lossless playback. I disable this when I'm not on wifi because it uses a lot more bandwidth, but the app often doesn't remember this and will randomly switch it back on. Hugely frustrating. Offline playback also doesn't work. Love the content, but the app itself is subpar.

Overall very good app - huge collection of shows at your fingertips. I haven't experienced a lot of the issues other people seem to be having, but nonetheless this app does have a few bugs that need to be fixed. One example is when my phone loses connection in the middle of a playback, the song will not resume, forcing you to pick another song to unfreeze it. I would still highly recommend this app for any phan.

The app is ok. It works, rarely have trouble. But honestly the prices are a bit excessive. I have a pretty good ear. I purchased the lossless option for $20 and could not tell a discernible difference compared to the mp3 audio at $10. The live bait series, which used to be free, isn't free anymore. The music itself cannot be listened to in any media platform outside of the app. Many "Dinner and A Movie" shows cannot be purchased, audio or video. Feels like my hands are tied most of the time.

Essentially the worst music streaming app I has ever used, but still use it because of the content. After disconnecting from Bluetooth, it will switch to your phone speakers. Search is terrible. Cannot resume listening to a show you started earlier. No play next. I could go on, but what's the point? The convenience factor is huge, and better quality than any taper can get.

(Edited review) Great music, and I like the overall design and look of the app. The music playing functionality itself could use some improvement, though. My BIGGEST gripe is that it isn't compatible with Android Auto -- glad to see that this is on the radar, however far away that might be. (As for the other issue with losing my place with the player, I'll work that out with the support team the next time that happens -- I appreciate the response to my review!)

great concept for listening to Phish, i use it all the time, however i do agree with several of the bugs others have already mentioned. Namely, if i lose connection or even go into poor service, the song will not resume, forcing me to change songs. Also if it goes into offline mode then the app has to be force quit and restarted. The lock screen controls dont work very well either. Other than these issues, pretty satisfied.

Not compatible with Google Home ecosystem. Love the music in there, great app in a lot of ways as long as you just use headphones. But just doesn't work with Chromecast and Google Homes. It just keeps restarting songs from the beginning. Over and over. Been asking customer service for help for 6 months and they just ignore me. Living in the gloom.

The only reason I didn't give this app 5 stars is because of the lack of variation in shows offered and I have playback issues all the time. Sometimes the music cuts off and I can't go back to replay at all. Like now, on the Dicks 2017 show offered. No play button, no pause button, it's just frozen. Right at end of Free. Imagine that lol. Phorever Phan and forever grateful for this app even tho it's frustrating at moments. ✌️

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. A lot of times when I close the app while I'm in the middle of listening to a show and open it later, the app doesn't pick up where I left off. So I have to browse or search for the show I wanted all over again and find the right spot. It would be nice if you guys could impliment some kind of automatic bookmarking system or something. Other than that, it's Phish. Can't go wrong.

Awful. Paying Spotify money for an app the constantly disconnects from my chrome cast and will randomly start playing all on my brand new tablet. Tried several devices, all with the same issues. Support was no help...they tried helping but once it was clear that it was the app, no response. STAY AWAY. App needs to be totally rebuilt. Works a little better on iOS, but it's app has no chrome cast support... app is stuck in 2015. Sad really...so much potential.

Love the music, can't stand the app. Crashing even more frequently now after latest update. Disconnecting from bluetooth and then reconnecting will either restart the show I'm listening to or freeze and not play any music. Galaxy s8 Edit to add: if I pause on my headphones and come back after about 10 minutes, it resets and I can't continue from where I was. Lost my spot in ruby waves multiple times today already, very frustrating

I would have given the app 5 stars but my show got interrupted right in the middle of a tasty jam. I exited out of the app and when I went back in the list of featured shows had been updated. The show I was in the middle of listening to wasn't even available any more! I suggest updating the shows at a time that my be less interruptive. Like 5 AM, instead of 12:00 noon EST.

Buggy, has difficulty actually loading all of a "browse" query so if I'm looking through every rendition of a particular song I may only be able to load 1989-1997 or something, before scrolling down further just doesn't trigger another load. Offline download option frequently hangs inexplicably, whether on data or stable and reliable WiFi networks Design of the front page shows the most recent addition as a banner at the top, a silly design choice that makes it easy to scroll past. Meh.

This app has consistently crashed unexpectedly for going on months now. I've been unable to use it reliably on my Samsung S8+, and at a cost equivalent to a whole second Spotify subscription, I'm frustrated with the atrocious user experience. I've been buying Phish webcasts since 2010 and have been a paid LP+ member for years, but this is ridiculous. Update: LP Support has been absolutely no help. I've been given no answers.

Great content! Very buggy and antiquated UI & UX. Crashes or song/playlist starts over on my Pixel 3XL whenever I change audio input or get a call. Doesn't cast to my Google Home (it transfers and then the song timestamp says 00:00 / 00:00). Also looses my place in songs and playlist when I open the side menu during playback. Please fix - thank you!

Constantly crashes and/or freezes. Would never waste money on this until they fix the insane amount of bugs. You can't use another app while this is playing in the background apparently. Bad enough you don't let me have mp3s anymore, the app you force me to use instead should at least be functional.

I contacted their support about an ongoing issue where playlists would corrupt - now I cannot get a response about the issue, and it's far from fixed. need to hit a few more shows and then cancel. this is no way to do business.

Great product (phish music!) but problems when I move between wifi and data when I'm listening to my downloaded playlists. It also is a pain to have to remind it that I'm using my playlists and don't have to be online then.

I hate this app as much as I love Phish. I have an issue using this app about half the time I use it. I have reached out to Live Phish Support on multiple occasions for them to turnaround and point their finger at things "outside of their control" for example, network issues. As someone who works in the field, the finger pointing is baseless. Take some responsibility for a poorly built application. The least you could do is credit members for the experience

Why update app the day of a major concert weekend when you have had literally weeks without new Phish live content? And surprise surprise it doesn't work like it's supposed to. app closes if screen goes off the screensaver. app closes if anything else is running. app closes if you turn off the screen. Every update brings new bugs. Pull ur heads out and stop updating app right before tours or weekend runs. Give yourselves a week of troubleshooting so that paying customers are not screwed!!!

Audio casting from stash doesn't work at all that I can tell - have tried both Chromecast w/ Google TV and a Google Home Mini. It starts casting, TV shows Live Phish logo or speaker makes the connected sound, but play/pause button just stubs/spins when pressed, won't do anything more. Can disconnect/reconnect to no avail. Other apps e.g. YT Music cast fine from same phone. Bummer - casting is my primary use case. Works fine with headphones though!

Used to work for me, no longer does, lack of support. Every time I try to login I get the error "The livephish app is currently offline for maintenance. Please check back later." This happens continuously, to me it seems it's a problem with the app. Login to the website using a browser, no issues. Tried reaching out to their support team, provided all details, no response. While I'm not a livephish subscriber I have paid for several streams and would like to continue using the app.
