Livestocked

Every stinking time I try to use the app I HAVE to "update" I barley ever have reception on the farm... ridiculous! Update after reply from livestocked: nope. I've had to update twice in the same week before. And you don't HAVE to make it mandatory to update just to use the app the way I had been previously. I don't have this problem with ANY of my other apps they give an option to upgrade. It makes it absolutely unreliable & unusable on the ranch!

I'm still setting it all up, I wish there were better directions or tutorials. I think it has potential, I'm just a little lost at the moment. I would like to be able to add the breeder of the goats as well as their sires/dams that I don't own. I would also like somewhere to list the animal's tattoo for identification. The ADGA registration link is nice but it seems to only work about 40% of the time. That's very disappointing. I really wanted to link up the records. Is there a place to add milking records or show records? I'll update this review as I get more experience with this software. update: If you are using a phone, the tutorials load automatically. However, there is no hint of a tutorial on a laptop. I think I know why the ADGA link fails. Any time I enter an American La Mancha (AL) or American Alpine (AA) the system says it is wrong. Apparently the programmer only added D, L, A, O, E, N, etc not the AL, AA, AO, or AN and so forth.

Great record keeping in my back pocket! I record in the field by just grabbing my phone. We have a medium sized homestead and there is a lot going on. Now I don't have remember what I saw or did by the time I get back to the house, I record it on the pasture. It's very easy to use and covers nearly everything we have. Their support is quick to respond to questions and are working on expanding the app every time I ask. I'm looking forward to getting a subscription and expanding my features!

Very poor security practices. Be careful what password and payment methods that you use. I tried telling them about the issue but they seemed to dismiss or not understand the concern...

I decided to try this app for my small herd of cows that I run with the much larger herd on the farm where I work. So far I have been very impressed, not only is the app itself good but, the support from the developer is also excellent. I had a few questions on how to use the app and have had a response by email within 24 hours every time. I was also given a short trial of the paid features. They are definitely worth cost as they really streamline entering new calves.

Update: I was informed how to add births kind of. While I understand some features need to be reserved for paying users I think the basic should have the option to record the births of your animals that's a pretty basic need for most people who raise these types of animals it does have that option in the app but it costs $70 per year which is not a bad price but when its literally the only option i need its a little much for me. I dont need all the other extras.

Decent app, crashes about twice a day though. Would like to be able to add purchase info while entering a new animal. We primarily buy in our livestock, so entering a new animal, and then having to go back in and enter that the animal has been purchased is a big time waster. Also don't see a point in linking to a registry and only 4 registries can be pulled up, you can't even manually enter your registry info. Would also like a spot for registered names, and barn names for registered animals.

Fantastic app. I loved it when I was using the free version but it is even more awesome with a paid subscription. Well worth the money. Great value. I had a problem with my task timestamp and the response was very quick and fixed it in no time. I would give it 6 stars out of 5 if I could. I recommend it to others frequently.

loving the app it is making my life a lot easier. I would like to be able to sort calves by sire and also be able to go to progeny info from the dam. I would also like to see a running dse calculation on paddocks and properties. Thank you for the prompt reply, look forward to the updates. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love this app. Makes record keeping so much easier. I went with the subscription service and it is worth every penny. The free version gives a heap of good stuff as well. Well worth the yearly fee

I only give 4 stars because it's kinda hard to navigate at first. It would be nice if a video tutorial was added once downloaded. Everything else is a 5 Star app. It helps keep up with everything so far. Been using it for 2 months now. I will continue use for a long time. Thx for the app

Great beginer program. Looking forward to upgrading as our calves grow. It's so easy to use this program. Iwould recommend this to anyone. Check it out!!

Keeps showing a blank screen even I change or add something. Not to mention I can't get out of the trial subscription. I don't like that.

App won't work. when I downloaded it, the first thing I need to do is add a farm. I pressed the + button and it says loading, but never loads.

when i registered, i never got the email with my password. tried 3 times over a few hours. checked my junk folder of my email. nothing. tired to register again thinking it didnt go through, it said email already in use.

Awesome app, prompt response time for questions/issues. I only wish they had more species options, and a budget tool.

Nice app for keeping with records. Does take long to set up and is a little confusing at first.

Please allow e the country of Italy in your drop down menu. Thanks. Couldn't even register my farm. Couldn't get past the first step after account registration.
