Most of these deals are garbage. Make sure to check with the company before buying a deal or you may be surprised when you have to pay some outrageous "taxes" or fees when you get there. I found out I had to pay $170 in fees for a jetski rental and they refused to refund me or even let me exchange it for another deal. Incredible.
Lots of good deals on local services but don't buy anything that needs to be shipped unless you want to wait forever. Ordered an item on 12/7, here it is 12/12 and it hasn't even shipped yet. They also charged me a $3.99 shipping fee. Completely ridiculous in this day and age when most places offer free shipping and you get it in a few days. Never mail ordering anything off here again.
Buyer beware!!!! First of all I have been a livingsocial user for over 6 years. I would not recommend this app to purchase products or physical items as they do not support the customer in disputes. I've had two items not delivered and was told to dispute the charge on my credit card as they were not responsible for 'stolen' items. I used credit from a cancelled activity and am outside the dispute window with my credit card. I recommend going somewhere reputable for your purchases and stay away.
Use To Be A Great Service Now... meh When LivingSocial 1st started the deals were phenomenal & worth checking out because of actual 1 of a kind deals, especially for local or vacation vouchers. Now with so many me toos it's utter trash. So many of the same product @ different prices & all the reviews are mostly positive, until you get the item to find out otherwise. Returns are a hassle with some being a short window to send back. While are products are completely none existence after purchasing
I bought this and was charged. It never showed up. Tried to reach you through whats app. With no luck. Had to disput forst charge with my bank and buy with another card to actually get it. Frustrating you cant even call to resolve an issue. And without an order number you cant even send a message.
If you don't use Living Social, you need to, unless you like paying full price! It's hit or miss, but if you're looking to purchase a specific product, CHECK LIVING SOCIAL first! You never know if they'll have an active deal for the website you're purchasing from, or even the product you're going to buy!! I made my both of my mothers specific products from an online store & THANKFULLY checked this app for the store...It saved me $40!!!! So ultimately I bought 2 for the price of 1! WOOP WOOP!
My experience has been okay know when and if I did have a problem I like the fact that I could speak to someone at customer service and they will help me. I just wish my voucher that expired on February 3rd 4 Blue Crab Trading, would have offered me an extended because it expired. Because I became very ill on February 1st used about you. Normally you offer an extension to extend it but she didn't. Thank you
This was my first time to have received there email. I opened it, and there were items I was needing and had on my list. I live in smaller town so need to drive 1hr to have the stores opportunity available where would be able to get all that we need. SO the sales and was very easy to order. Great information about all with this company and product carried or being shipped from the stores that do have what was needing. everything was some great sales there having that did save us some money.
First order was incorrect, still waiting for customer service to respond. If you are buying something you will want to screenshot the product details then compare that to the actual product you receive! Also found identical product for same price with correct item details. Buyer beware. App does not allow you to arrange returns.
Scored a great deal. This is the fourth time we have used LivingSocial for awesome savings on great deals. Very quick & easy to use & a variety of deals to choose from!! Reccomend it highly!!
A few years ago I complained that Silver Spoon in Lynnwood would not use my expired vouchers for cash value I paid. You are supposed to have the cash value available if the voucher expires. Then all my expired vouchers disappeared. I do not think that is legal and should file a complaint with Washington state - they di not like when people do not get what they paid for.
I am highly disappointed in this site. I purchased a restaurant voucher 15.00 for 30.00 worth of food. They sent a confirmation and I saved on my email. I went to restaurant, and went to email only to find the confirmatiin wasn't there!! I lost 15.00.
I have ordered many items here. They have a long-time customer. I have found a hair stylist and new restaurants where I have become a regular. I've not had good luck with the jewelry, cheap. I have a few that I didn't get to use, but I'll still use for the value I paid
it allows us to do more things in this beautiful city of San Diego that we live in! and it is definitely fun just trying new places to eat travel and experience.... Rockin it !!!!
I've been on this app for about 6 years. It never lets me down. I keep my family entertained and I stay within our budget. I never pay full price for the most top rated places in town. Customer service is awesome.
it is basically groupon, but way way better. they have more promos, discounts that actually work and variety in every thing you are looking for. I love it.
Frustrating and disappointing. The return policy is a joke. You have a whopping three days to return an item. God forbid your life shouls change or the thing you purchased makes you uncomfortable. All you get is a lousy credit for something you're not going to use. Don't use this application.
The deals are awesome, there's a ton of categories to choose from, great For gift giving ideas. the app is simple to use and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to save a few bucks
My family and I love Livingsocial. We buy from clothing, food, trips, home services, special activities for the kids, along with photos shot and books. Some great deals and never disappointed. Great customer services also.
Deals are often not honoured by vendors and consumer given a ridulous 24 hours to trade in for another deal, often times for something that they do not want. Not cash refunds are given...buyer definitely beware! Best to check with the vendor before purchase to confirm that they will honor the deal, or else you are SOL
Its says up to 2 hours to redeem vouchers. Its a complete lie. I brought a vouchers for a hotel i was staying at the night before i had to check out to extend my room. The vouchers didn't complete until the following day after I spent the last of money in vegas. I had to pay for another hotel and deposit meanwhile livingsocial already took there money. This was bad because I paid for a new hotel livingsocial had 100.00 of my money that I couldn't access and customer service is never available
I have enjoyed many activities through living social that I would not even been aware of ,if it was not for this side. I just bought a ticket to a concert at the Paramount theater for an artist I like but did not know he was in town. The side is easy to use and I have never had a problem with using any of my vouchers. I'm a. very happy client.
An excellent way to save some money. Whenever we want to try something or somewhere new we check out Living Social first. It gives us some great ideas and we've found some really great places this way. Really helps us with keeping to our budget.
When GROUPON does not have a great deal I am looking for I can usually count on LS to have a few bucks off retail. I love the convienience of having access to values right on my phone! Highly recommend!
enjoy purchasing items as well as experiences fro. this site. mildly annoying to go through third party businesses. not always as helpful as living social people are. have been using for many years and never had a problem they couldn't fix almost immediately. highly recommend

I have always found great deals on trips and activities, as well as the occasional deep discount shopping purchase. When I have had to do an exchange with a trip, etc, they have always been extremely accommodating. Everything we've booked through here has been great. I read a lot of reviews before making my decisions. Then go online and do more research to double check.
