Lj Video Downloader (m3u8, mp4, mpd)

App is pretty good. Downloading speeds seem to be oddly inconsistent even when downloading files of the same quality, relatively the same size and from the same source but still downloads 95% of the time. I just notice that from time to time the download will literally just stop out of the blue, sometimes due to my phone shutting off I believe which is really annoying as I don't want to leave my screen on for a hour+. If you can improve background processes that would be ideal.

Suddenly, there are lots of combine errors. Say, I queue 5 files to download. More often now, all the files queued for download are treated as one. So, first file downloads smoothly. Then, attempts to combine 2nd file that has finished downloading with 1st file. And, I get an "error combine" message. Have emailed support a few times. Still unresolved.

Incredible app!!! Can download videos from literally any website, even the mp2t videos that are split in multiple segments and even most desktop apps can't handle!! Totally awesome!!! >>Edit<< It would be really cool if the app was capable of downloading webm videos as well, also split in segments. As of now it can detect the segments individually while the video is playing but it cannot merge them into a single playable video file. Edit: Glomex videos have no sound, please fix!!!

It is useful in coverting videos however it would be a lot better to have the option of converting multiple videos all at the same time since it is time consuming to do it one by one. It would also be more user friendly if we can just tick off the chosen videos to be converted instead of copying/pasting the links.

The program works well. But the browser is inconvenient! Why close it after m3u8 detection? Indeed, on the pages of the TV series there are many episodes. And every time you need to open the TV series page and scroll to the desired episode? Maybe it’s better to click on the probable tab "Browser" (between "Task"&"Download"), switch to an unclosed browser page and continue from the next episode (and not from the first episode) of the TV series? |What do you say? Make a more convenient browser?|

I spent hours trying to find a good m3u8 video converter and all i came across were pure rubbish and, not functional apps. I had no luck, until i came across your app. Very app friendly and easy to use, got what I was looking for within seconds. Thank you so much, Keep up the good work guys.👊👍

〜(^ω^)〜 Best app ever!😁 Only DL app I've seen that blocks crud that prevents DLing! If the DL link isn't the one needed, just reload & hit "Not the video you want? Click to ignore this link", reload again & it'll eventually block all the crud preventing DL!😃👍It has built in adds but they're non-intrusive, only show on screen after hitting DL & they help support the devs that made it so i don't mind at all! I'd pay good money for premium version with dark mode & adds removed if there was one!!

This is one of the best apps I have on my phone. Downloading video streams is even easier than on PC. On PC you generally have to use ffmpeg, but this app makes it easier to just download on your phone and transfer it via USB. HLS is very tricky in particular, but this app has a built in browser and you can find the exact video you need. 10/10 would recommend.

Some suggestions: 1. contents of the link field are not cleared after successfully detecting and downloading a video, user needs to manually select all text and delete after every download. Please add a button to paste the clipboard link and automatically start video detection. 2. the div containing the list of video resolutions after detection is too short, usually requires scrolling down to get to 1080p, even though there is enough space to show the entire list below

Worked better than the other supposed 'Video Downloaders' out there. It can find video files when other apps can't (I think it has something to do with 'm3u8' encoding) and works for regular ol' mp4's as well. GUI is fairly immaculate and it's original compared to other apps in that you don't have a browser embedded with a function of downloading playing videos. 5/5 - works perfectly everytime!

Did the job perfectly. I tried desktop downloaders but they all just downloaded the mpd file. This app actually got me the mp4. I can't believe there's a mobile app that's better than PC apps, but this proved me wrong. Thank you developer!

Edit:(PLEASE PLEASE add an switch to !!DISABLE AUTODETECT!! Adding the detected link to a block list is NOT! the solution as each ad comes from a different URL so after after adding to block list and refreshing the page the new ad comes from a different URL making app useless as it does not auto detect the actual video!) Works very well but but NEEDS ad block! on many sites it will detect the ad video instead of the real video. Making it impossible to download the video because of ads.

The app downloads like it's supposed to. However the app thinks i have no storage space available for download after i move files between my internal storage and SD card and the problem can't be fixed unless i uninstall and reinstall the app. Other than this one problem the app works great. But please fix this problem. I'm using a Samsung galaxy S20.

Good app, one issue. I changed my file directory for downloads to my SD card and I can't access those files through a file manager. I can see it in app on the videos tab. But there's no way to extract those videos. Are you able to fix this? (In the meantime, I went back to internal storage download directory)

Works great for sites that use M3U8. Downloads and converts to MP4 all in one step. It does so very quickly as well. Ads are to be expected but there weren't too many so that's fair. Great app

I think you guys need to update the app. Some sites that support m3u8 are no longer accessible with this app. There are also instances when the file is completely downloaded but it is not playable.

Please add a way to copy the link of the downloading video (the found stream link). Please add a prompt asking do you want to download this video while showing the found link. Let us save the download list (all downloads are always lost forever when the app crashes). Please add an option to deactivate ads.

It does it's job most of the time. I hate how it automatically selects a random ad sometimes and I can't download the right video. Can we have a setting to turn if off please?

This works well for m3u8 files and HLS protocol. Had trouble with standard mp4 files which seemed to hang. ADM is better for these. Not sure how to rename files . Other downloaders I've used do this automatically. Opening download page is a bit too "busy" and could be simplified with less text.

This app manages to download everything, I have not had a single failed download. All the other apps I've tried, always have some kind of error or reason it can't download something. Use this if you're tired of trying online downloading sites or other apps you will not be dissatisfied.

So useful.. I can download m3u8 (non downloadable as mp4 file) movies from movie sites easily.. It is very flexible app.. Cant be broken easily.. But a few features would be great if added.. For example: Downloading speed and size of video file.. And it would be better if app doesnt catch video automatically when opening an url.. Because I cant change quality of video after opening url at m3u8 browser section..

I have some problems viewing the list of videos for download, as they are superimposed and difficult to read and select, but otherwise the app is great. I would consider to pay for removing the ads, because sometimes are very annoying and impossible to close.

Very good app, supports a lot of sites. One feature that I want, is to bypass the login/premium subscription on some sites. Its not possible to play some videos without premium subscription, it would be great if that could be bypassed by some method so that the video can be downloaded

1)downloads up to 99% fast, then takes forever to dwnld the remaining 1%. 2)if an ad loads during dwnld, then dwnld isn't successful. 3) only 1 res is available always. doesn't show res quality. 4)just now app stopped 5)recognise url & dwnld pls, why must the vid start playing? doesn't say how much it should play enuf for dwnld. data gone to play vid, data gone for dwnld. screen rec is better option 6) updated version doesn't dwnld at all. UNINSTALLED! CONGRATS!

App works well, especially considering its doing some pretty non trivial stuff. My only gripe is the Automatic website extractor, it automatically pulls the first m3u8 stream to load which might just be the ads on some websites. Its an experimental feature though so its understandable.

Finally after a few more attempts I was able to have the m3u8 files located and merged. The UI could use a little work but ultimately it did what it says and was the only app that I've found that works through the ads.
