Amazing app. Really simple to operate, simply great tool!
The simulator is awesome! It's so real and I enjoy it so much !
Works really really well on Android, my compliments to the developers!
Absolutely essential. Absolutely more than you'll need :)
Way too complicated all it needs to do is beep...when I go up
Always been good, thank you to the developers
Excellent flying computer app, especially feature allowing to see visually where was a lift
Just wondering how should I send airspeed and baro data via Bluetooth serial. At which rate, bautrate and the text format, print or println. Thanks.
I found out! Thank you 5 stars!!!
This is the best app for flying
I have waited for an Android version of LK8000 for years. Now that it is here, it is simply the best app by far for gliding or other thermal and cross country aviation sports. Brilliant - nothing else comes close 😀
Coming from Xcsoar, this have a much greater usability and friendly gesture interface
Absolugely perfect for General Aviation too, nothing beats it
Bizarre user interface. Utterly incomprehensible. Looks like it was designed by a four year old and sounds like an explosion in a button effects factory. Whatever you do don't give it a bad review, or you will get crazy flames from the developer
Have been early adopter and long time fan. Great piece of work. Many thanks to all the contributors.
My favorite flight computer on Android. Now i don't have to carry a naviter and Android when i go Paragliding. Lk development team are responsive and friendly.
I've been using on the Kobo flying gliders. The Android version just as good. Moving map displays are essential to keep out of aerospace. LK8000 does just that.
The best soaring software for paraglider pilots bar none. It started out as a fork of XCSoar but thanks to responsive developers it has transformed into something far better suited to paragliding and hang gliding than XCSoar. Initial setup could be a bit easier but it is well worth putting in the time to learn the software. If you fly competitions, dump XCSoar and install LK8000 immediately, it works perfectly for our competitions!
I've been using LK8000 for several years and been 100% satisfied with it. I've been awaiting this Android version and using simulation mode it responsed as expected. I'll be flying with it in the next few weeks.
It's like xcsoar in roids :)
Has functionality but it's ugly as hell. Dev needs to adopt new material design guidelines.
Would be great for paragliding
The biggest drawback of this program is not been able to use the internal magnetic compas. Yes, it can work out things using the gps receiver only but it "bends backwards" when doing so! Accuracy and speed suffers...
