It has come to our attention that the app is receiving a huge number of downloads and gaining popularity in South Africa, where load shedding has become a grave problem these days. Although this app was initially designed to monitor powercut situations in Kathmandu, Nepal, we are happy to extend our service to South Africa as well, given the demand from the increasing number of users from South Africa.
We have around 1000 download per day from South Africa (Data:: Total Downloads on Feb 11 was 999 and on Feb 12 was 912). We are trying to provide services to every user that installs our app and therefore, trying our best to incorporate every data available. Data collection and analysis has been a tough job, but we are seeing progress. We will be releasing a new updated version of the app in a few days' of time with the schedule of load shedding in South Africa.
Also, New Proposed Release in Future: Addition of new languages beyond English.

Like eskom itself absolutely useless, cannot find a city. I highly recommend anyone to not waste data downloading

Hey guys dont waste you time by downloadind ds app it only shows two country dont waste your data & it hve nthing much you cant evn search ur your country its a useless app dont download it....
Does not give you options of the cities or areas that you live in so this app belongs in the trash heap

The app only has Nelson Mandela City for the Eastern Cape , Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality is not listed
North West is not in your list ,all other provinces are included except North West

Okay first of all, I thought this app would be amazing considering to all the load sheddings happening at the moment. But it turns out to be wack. It doesn't give you the options to choose. Totally waste of data! 😠
