It solves many problems with the standard Android Browser, which is sometimes unable to download certain file types (including e-books, video streams, audio, applictions, zip files, etc.)
It may also help load video streams from your favorite websites (for example, the website doesn't natively support downloading and only displays in video player).
Just click on any downloadable link in the Android Browser and select LoaderDroid from the list of applications. Or you can share a link to LoaderDroid using the Android sharing feature.
Also you can click on the "plus" button in the action bar and enter the link manually (by typing or pasting).
And finally you can use embedded browser into LoaderDroid, it automatically detects loadable links as soon as you click on them.
LoaderDroid makes downloading any files, however small or huge, worry free. It's just a matter of time and the available space on your SD-Card.
LoaderDroid supports resumable downloading, so don't worry if you lose your connection or pause a download halfway. LoaderDroid will resume downloading right where it left off the moment your connection is restored.
Using your Android on the go? No problem. Specify what connection you would like to use to download any file individually and rid yourself from the worries of carrier charges. Whether its Wi-Fi at home and 3G on the move, your download will auto pause when you leave your Wi-Fi and resume the moment you're back home.
For most servers, LoaderDroid will load your download in 3 threads: Sometimes this increases downloading speed up to 3 times.

I have been using this for years, all the sudden on my moto z2 force (I know old as $h/t) on 8.5, doesn't have any of my previous downloads and doesn't show up as an option to choose to download, it always went directly to this or have me the option, I do love this app, same sd card, just trying to figure out if I should delete and reinstall. I'll hopefully figure it out because I relied on this for everything, I guess a phone update might help but I love my add on jbl speaker, still best app!!
Superfast small downloads but can't download files of 2 GB or above and shows false positives, that is, the download shows 100% and 100%< data is used but the files are corrupt. Waste of data, time & effort.
Never seen an amazing downloader like this. Very very intuitive interface. Simple. Catches all downloads. Even though it was updated in march 2016, it works flawlessly. Amazing piece of software. Highly recommended. :-)
I normally would not go through the stress of rating an app but I'm giving a 5 star here. Just copy and paste links You could chose to use wifi only options for big file downloads Set time for download activation, navigate to a page where getting the link directly is tricky with the built in browser..
The only app what did the job. I wish it wouldnt close the download properties sheet after pressing pause/resume. I also wish it could save files to an sd card directly (now i just cant select the path). You can get this star, you know. ;)
I am using this app heavily and continuously for 5 years in 4 different Android devices and it never caused any problem. This is no doubt the best downloader for Android. But the only problem it has is I can't directly download into an sd card.
Its been wonderful. My only wish is that the developers should create an option for choosing the storage area where you want the file to be downloaded
Weird interface (unintuitive), but works well. Also, you may wish to have a native English-speaker fix some of the awkward grammar/phrasing.
The app is so great because of its downloading speed and multiple loading ability but the only minus point is that when we delete a file it dosen't ask question. When sometimes I accidentaly swipe it deletes all process at once, I really want you all should add a feature that when we delete a file the app should ask, Do you really want to delete this file - YES or NO, like that Thanks for this app abd plz hear me 😀
I love it's speed no other download app I have used is better than it but your browser and user interface is a little bit scrapy I just wish the browser had an add blocker to work on the adds we find on the web pages
Good but buggy. Selecting a download from the list blanks it so you can't see what you selected. Kind of a nuisance
Best download manager for android in my opinion. It has all the features of what you need for downloading huge files. Although it's abandoned but still working perfectly.
The best part is you can even update the download link and resume if your link expires in between. No more frustration if your download fails at 99% 😉. Loved it!
A lot improvements is required to make it user friendly. Notification panel does not show necessary information, for example the size of currently downloaded/ downloading file, speed of downloading, remained time for download.
Useless app. Nothing is working. The rest is the same as when I downlode a file of 2 gb in it and when I finished my 1 gb I pause it, then when I resumed on the next day, the downloding did not start. The link also changed. Still not downlode
It used to be very good but now probably due to new android versions it stops downloading when the app is minimized making it useless.
The best download manager i have ever used in my life and i use this app becuase it has every feature and then also it is very low in size
this app is really best fr downloading but i think this app need more advancement and require a lot of work on downloading and also on browser.
Excellent app. Supports resuming downloads. Some downloads are unresumable and in that cases the download can still be resumed by using new link. Better than my mobile download managers
This is an edit. I have removed this app as it is rubbish. I really don't know how it has the rating it has got. People, if you really want a GOOD download manager go and try "Advanced Download Manager. Its awesome and does what its supposed too. Goodbye fool. First off, this app could well be a very good app. The reason I say this is in one tablet I am running an older version and not letting it update. It works well and I might have even considered buying it. Now comes the REAL problem. I have a new tablet and installed the latest version and WOW. Here's my issue. This latest version as it displays the adds you only see half of the adds and this causes the hole screen to flicker badly. I believe this guy is doing this on purpose so to try and make you buy it. First off, who in there right mind is going to PAY for an app that has bugs. Developer, would you???. I very much doubt it. I am reporting you to google play store for deceptive marketing. People, lets boycott this developer until he does what's right. Goodbye.
This is best app I ever had. I download many apps for auto download over wifi. This is the only working app. Also can you please update this app to support for magnet download links. Please update this app!! Thank you so much!
Select its own default folder in sd card (storage/[yourSDcardname]/Android/data/org.zloy.android.downloader/files/Download) so you can save it on SDcard because of scope storage rules, but might not work on Android 11. Please note that uninstalling loaderdroid will delete that folder and your downloaded files though.
The UI can be improved and it should be. The notification panel should provide more options without opening the app.
Well, I tested like 5 downloaders, and this is by far one of the best, sadly my phone only reads fat32 sd card which means that I can download 4gb or less files, but still, same file didn't download so far in other managers as this one (It would download the whole 5gb file if it wasn't for my phone)
This is very great app for downloading large files like obb files of pubg. When i want to download pubg from chrome it could not be paused but it could be pause.great app👍👍👍

This does what it claims.i've failed several times w/others, to successfully download a huge soundfont file, and this app took care of it after i fell asleep. Also, I just tried to download a page by mistake, and it asked me if that was my intention after explaining where i went wrong, offered a correction that worked, and provided several links to *competing browser updates. shame that it'll soon be gone (?)
