Marvellous piece of software with sleek interface and convenient article processing (adjustable font style and size, content navigation and auto-saving).
I've been using this app every night for years! Perfectly simple. Great if you're a knowledge hound like me. Nice that I can export my links. Wish I could sort newest first.
Best Wikipedia browsing experience. Really nice job!
This is not just my favourite Wikipedia client. This is my favourite app in the Store! Excellent UI, magnificent usability with the background queuing links, and fast and efficient support from the developer. If it had a premium version, I'd buy it.
Has nice set of options and offline saving of articles. But there is no way to remove articles from list unless you open then and tick turn Read. After that no way to recover them too.
excellent navigation and customization, beautiful reading without excess complexity. Great support. Simply terrific for studying topics as they wander about on Wikipedia. The rendering is beautiful. Love the export links option with its Google Drive integration. I always go back to it when I want to study a topic in Wikipedia as it meanders across articles.
What I love the most about it is how it saves the the links for reading later on so you can continue with what you are reading. In essence it let's you have a reading list. Interface is simple no nonsense and easy and slick. Gets sliiiiightly buggy if you minimise and then click on an article sometimes (it jumps to a different article instead). One of my favourite APS.
Revolutionary queueing system and impeccable design principles allow for the most comfortable reading experience possible on Android. Strength in its simplicity and efficiency. Wishlist: bulk queue clearing capability.
This is one app I immediately install after switching to new device. Thanks Michal.
Great and simple to use!
Clicking a link opens that page in the background. No other reader I've seen does this! Great feature!
Only issue is that sub and super scripts don't seem to render so reading scientific articles requires some guesswork! Would love this to be fixed
with the official apps getting good enough to meet our needs and the strong competitor wikireader. This is impressive lol. Though the market for this is... um. But thank you for this sharp app. I like it from the start.
My saved articles look very pretty which I can always get back for future reference without the sake of toggling network buttons. Instead, I am sick of scrolling all way down for the latest ones: my reading progress returns back to the top after every search. Please do add sort by alphabets & descending dates. While also found articles hard to retrieve when they fragment into my flow of hundreds titles (even with replicates of the same title unfiltered), adding tags to them or else would be appreciated.
I like every bit of this app, but... It uses a lot of battery/cpu even when i'm just reading one article. It just drains my phone so quick. And i can't find a way to sort or delete items from the main list.
I like this app. I would have given it five complete stars if offline page caching is implemented for saved articles. I did not see that this feature is planned on the developer's Web sure. Hope this feature gets into his to do list.
My main problem with the Wikipedia official app was that when you clicked on a link, it left the page you were reading, and went to the new one. I love that in LoboWiki you can queue articles in the background while still remaining on the one you are currently reading.
I used also Wikipedia application itself, but LoboWiki is simpler and more convenient. you can search topics beforehand at home-they are stored in search results and in case of limited wifi access or in a transport read them offline. night mode saves energy. pls add removing function to search results to sort them properly.
Only improvement would be if it could act as the default Wikipedia client, so all links from other apps are directed there and added to my queue. 5* when it can do this!
If history and offline queueing are implemented this would be as good as Wikipanion.... an app viewed jealously by many Android users. I'll give 5 stars and 5$ for those features.
WOW. it's light and fast and as a person who doesn't have a 24/7 internet access, I consider the ability to save articles for offline reading a blessing. thanks for the app!
This is a perfect example of a tool that solves a specific problem really elegantly without trying to do too many things.
Pretty good..has necessary features.. Small and simple
Great app. Would like to see it save reading position in articles instead of resetting to the top.
has all the functions others require pro for and had no ads
Without a doubt this is the best Wikipedia application. I would pay for this.
This could be exactly what I'm looking, simple with good queue mgt, etc - BUT, with the justified text extending to the very edge of the screen I find it unreadable. Font size and style settings don't help. With a little whitespace and maybe left aligned text it would be perfect!
Nothing can come closer to this app providing a better Wikipedia experience. But the readability could be vastly be improved if the left and right margins are increased such that every single line could fit in one glance. Making it customizable would suit to everybody.
great reader for wiki and free
