Local Ebay Deals Finder

No longer works. This used to be a fantastic app but now it just comes up with "no results found" no matter what you input and no matter what distance away you put. I hope they can be bothered to fix it.

Why is it not working anymore? No results regardless of search options, used to be great.

Doesn't work. No results found even with distances of 100 miles with no other parameters

Why is even listed in the play store. Surely not a good advert for MSE?

This used to work well and I've found a few bargains. But recently when saving items to my watch list they don't save. I get a reminder I assume when an item is due to end but when I select the reminder it takes me to the app which tells me watch list is empty. I then check the list which I added several items to yesterday and still empty. You can get around this by watching items in the eBay app each time but it's not as convenient or as slick, so not as good as it used to be.

So far im getting informed too late to bid. Whenever i go to item on original ebay site its expired. Also there are no reference numbers, therefore u cannot even look up the item on main site if u want tp ask a question etc. On my samsung smartphone i cannot see all of the item, only half. Needs more refining please.

Often says you've been outbid, then you find at the end of the auction that you've bought the thing. Very annoying, and expensive, if you buy something else in the meantime. This glitch means I now have 4 cashmere jumpers and three pairs of brown suede boots.

I first got this app a few months ago and it was great but now it just doesn't work anymore. Every time I try and search for something it just says there are no search results even if I have on furthest distance and no other criteria. Have uninstalled and then installed again but still doesn't work. Will just delete now and just use ebay unless there is a fix

This app has worked perfectly for a few years now and has found me some great bargains but a few months ago no matter the search parameter it shows 'no results', I tried reinstalling the app but it's made no difference. Glad to say a week later it was up and running again. Now December 2014 it is showing 'no results' again, this is so frustrating, it seems worse as it appears to be the same fault. Please fix this app and if possible reply to this so I know when it's up and running again.

It's an app that does what you can do in ebay by refining results. It does it well & quickly but the interface is clunky, ie: not all the text shows and you end up going back & forth a bit. It is very good at pinpointing on a map where the seller is if they only give a general area. For example, if the seller says Manchester, the app will locate it to a few metres of actual address.

Good at what it does, although the in built 'Watch List' isn't very reliable (sometimes loses everything you've added). Better to find something via this app and then add it your eBay watch list. Also not too sure whether it actually captures everything available nearby.

Brilliant app only let down from being perfect for an eBay bargain addict by the lack of linking directly with your eBay account. Items saved here do not automatically save in your eBay and in order to bid you have to go and log in. Apart from that I have used this for three months now and I have found some fantastic bargains locally. Please link it to eBay app designers and I will love you forever ;-)

Oh no! Stopped working today! Prior to this I wrote - No adverts. Simple to use and clear. Spits up some real bargains. I'm a MoneySavingExpert fan and don't part with my money lightly, so if I tell you I made 2 purchases in a week then it must be good.

Great app, get bargains on items near enough for you to collect since less people are bidding.If an item listed in there has p&p charges it is often on because whoever listed it didn't know how to remove them-always check the description. The watch list doesn't always work but since you can also look at the item on the ebay website I add it to that watch list too and works well . Don't know how to clear my watch list once it gets full though.Very handy app.

Love this app, helps find bargains in your local area. Before installing app I rarely checked local ebay, but having this app reminds me check regularly. Only negative is that reminder doesn't work but this can be overcome by going to ebay www and clicking watch x

Just started using and looks great, easy to use. I was watching something and didn't get a notification when it was expiring despite the settings being correct. This may be 'new user error' but I'll keep an eye out when the next watch item is due to expire.

Nice handy bit of kit for finding local eBay deals however it always shows me the same listings within a single search so I end up viewing the same item 2,3 + times, a waist of my time and very frustrating. Also to be able to view all images of the item within the app would be nice. If you were to fix these it would be 5 stars.

Great for finding local "Collect Only" items on EBay, especially as eBay's refine search by postcode doesn't work. Would be a useful enhancement to have the option to search for "Collect Only" or "All Items". Watchlist notification does not work. UPDATE 18/11/14: Found today that it misses items that it should be including, which makes it a lot less useful than I previously thought.

Great concept and easy to use but limitations due to not being fully integrated in the main site eg as you can only see 1 picture even if there are more on the main ebay site. Also you cannot contact the seller to ask questions. So the app pretty much allows you to get a local list of items for you to research more on the main site. Be great to have one app as now have this, ebay and snipper running!

By and large, it does what it says on the tin. Two quibbles - I've set my device to stay on landscape view, but this app overules me and switches to portrait anyway; and I think that when I press the "watch" button in this app the items don't seem to appear in my ebay watch list. I have to do that within the main ebay app itself. For all that, this "sub-app" is meeting a real need, as I don't think that refining ebay searches on ebay allow you to get collection only. HERE'S AN IDEA - A SISTER APP TO BUY ONLY FROM EBAY CHARITY SELLERS. This can be done by refining searches within ebay itself, but not many of us bother.
