One press of the button and the screen turns off and locks automatically. I use it literally hundreds of times per day instead of waiting for the screen to turn off or physically pressing the power button. Great app and I've had no problems with it what so ever. TO THOSE WHO SAY IT IS USELESS, READ THE NAME OF THE APP. THATS WHAT IT DOES.

Works great on Droid Razr. ICE (4.0). Yes, you have tp give program Device Administrator rights to make it work, and i expect remove the right when you want to uninstall, but it's a simple setting in Security. Saves me having to use that fussy, too-far recessed power button half the time.

Installed to try but once screen was locked I could not get it to open/unlock it again. Uninistalled succesfully but now the power button is not locking/unlocking the screen anymore. Help ...... God i hate this app! (Samsung Galaxy S running Gingerbread)

The idea of a lock screen widget could be helpful to someone. For me, I downloaded it thinking it was something else. So, when I went to uninstall it, I couldn't. So I checked it out online and saw I had to remove it as a device administrator. So I did, and when I unchecked it it never came unchecked. It just refuses to get off of my phone. Someone has to fix this, we ought to have complete control of what's on our phones. Thanks.

App wont delete on certain devices, I followed the removal instructions & repeated several times...YES I CAN READ and it's a problem with the app that the developer chooses to ignore. My LG Optimus is stuck with this app. So if you really hate it, you probably will have to reset your phone otherwise just live with it & use it or ignore it.

Used to love this app on my Samsung Stratosphere, but since I got a new phone, the Verizon GS3, the app will turn the screen off, then after two seconds it will pop back on. Also, when I went to remove it as an administrator and uninstall, my phone wouldn't allow my the option. I had to go through my root browser and delete the apk file. Which isn't really much of a hassle, but for people without a rooted device, it may be. Also, Google still thinks I have this app installed...

This widget had performed perfectly on any Android devices I have, even on my Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2, until I updated the Nexus to 4.0.4. The widget still works, but after the screen going into stand-by animation, the screen popped back on again, relying on the auto-off to turn itself back off. Re-installing the widget didn't fix the bug. Had to uninstall it and use another widget/app.

Thank you, it just works fine in my Panasonic T44 (very cheap phone). It does what it is indented to be, lock the screen with a tap. I've tried at least 10 similar apps and settled with this. Nothing comes close. Only glitch is I've to reinstall the widget, not the app, every time I switch on the phone.

Never let me down on my Samsung Galaxy SII ICS 4.03. But when I have updated my phone to V 4.04, it does lock the screen keeping it on for approximately 10 seconds and then it turns off locked. Not a big deal but fixing this would be highly appreciated.

My top button is broken, frustrating, got this app and so far just had it a day I love it. Now i\f it starts causing glitches I will write back, but for now a great replacement feature. Not sure why there is no factory option for this....

...either a tablet or a phone. Add the widget, push the button-like icon, see the screen locking. I had no problem on Samsung S3,Samsung J5,HTC Desire C or Vonino tablet, nor did I hear complaints from my friends who are using it.

Update after OS upgrade to 4.1 Jelly Bean: the lock is no longer reliable, as it takes a few attempts to kick in. Looking for another app that works reliably. Old review: If like me you've set your pin/pattern security lock to kick in some time after the screen lock kicks in, you'll occasionally want a quick option for explicitly & instantly locking your device (with the security lock) without waiting for the usual delay to timeout. This widget does just that.

It makes no sense and I've spent the last half hour trying to figure out how to deactivate it..what kind of app is this, it doesn't even allow you to uninstall as others have said they had to factory reset phones to get it gone. Horrible app in my mind.

I don't like it and there is no way to remove it. I tried that administrators way and it still won't work. I just want it off of my phone.

App is ok, but now not needed, I am not a h8r. It would be nice to be able to remove the app. I attempt to remove admin rights and that does not work. From what I have read its a bug between the app and the Optimus "s,t,v" So of you have one of these phones do not download app

Don't install this! Company won't address the issue when scores of people complained about it. It works fine at first, but even very minor changes to your phone's software environment (software updates, installing/uninstalling unrelated apps) will mess this app. After that, it stops being a one touch operation. The screen will go black but turn right back on, and you have to try several times before succeeding.

Worked well on my Galaxy S2, with Android 2.3.6, but after upgrading to 4.0.4 when i hit the button it reverts back to swipe lock screen again. I have to press the power button to lock screen. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

The widget was cool and all when the old android phones were "good phones" but now with 1080p and 2k and 4k displays this widget looks old. You guys should work on some HD widgets and resign it. PLEASE. for the sound and WiFi widget as well.

This is crap won't let you uninstall and does not do anything it is a waste of space on your phone (san Francisco II)

If you stupid idiots would actually read the description before bitching it clearly tells you how to uninstall. Go buy a Nokia if you cannot read.

1st READ!!! DIRECTED TO THOSE WHO CAN'T UNINSTALL! 2nd I rate it a 5. It does what's described. It didn't do what I was looking for: Screen lock and unlock so that I wouldn't continue wearing out the top button. I FOLLOWED THE UNINSTALL PROCEDURE IN THERE DESCRIPTION AND HAD NO PROBLEMS.

Nice. I would give 5 stars if it could also turn off display light. That will be awesome

I`ve read most of the comments about this app. Some say it will uninstall, and some say it won't. I installed it on my phone and tried everything to uninstall it, and it won't. It may work different on other phones...I don't know. Anyway, whatever the case my be...there shouldn't be an app on the market that cannot be uninstalled. It would be good if anyone out there has any advice on getting rid of this without factory reset. It not a good feeling not being in control of what's on your phone, lol!

I've been using it for years on all my devices. Had to give up recently because it is not compatible with fingerprint unlock. If I lock the device using this widget then I have to enter PIN to unlock.

Not recommended for newer phones, it won't function correct. It's a shame as it used to work well on my old wildfire.not been updated for 3 years
