LogMeOnce Password Manager

The app stopped working for me after an Android 12 update, but works again with the latest update from Google Play. When the error first occurred, I waited for a few weeks for an update to fix the issue. I then emailed LogMeOnce, but only got an automated reply and nothing else for a week. I sent another email and was sent a Google Drive link to a beta version of the app. There were no instructions on how to install it. The first time I tried it, it did not accept my password. I uninstalled the update, and then installed it again, and the beta worked again. After a week or so, there was an update from Google Play which worked too. The app is fine, but the communication and responsiveness of the company is poor.

Integration with Android isn't as smooth as other password managers such as LastPass. However, this application is cross-platform and has pretty decent web browser extensions experience as well.

There has to be a fix when adding an entry to the Password Manager. It freezes when I select a folder/category it will be placed in. I should be able to do on mobile what I can do on the desktop version.

I like some of it. Want to upgrade but can't find out where to do it and that's annoying. I would give it 5 stars if it copied all my passwords somehow or learned them when I initially enter them in whatever app or site I am being forced to protect (like somebody really is out to steal my TicTok account- seriously?)

The app has suddenly stopped working and will not work. The app has not received any updates in the last 3 months I keep experiencing critical bug issues

Way too convoluted. Asks for a master password change way too often, increasing the possibility of forgetting the master password, which in turn increases the possibility of loosing all of your password. After a few months of this, I decided to go to another service which exposed another problem. There is no way for me to export my passwords. The only way you're able to do so is through an add-on for your browser, but this option does not work. All export options are disabled for exporting, at least through Firefox browser. I refuse to even try on other browsers and now have to manually copy all of my login details one by one. I sent a support ticket and have not gotten a response in 3 days. Over all. I would not recommend this service, free or otherwise. Update: There is a way to enable exporting passwords. You have to download a separate installer. Note: This can give LogMeOnce more access to your PC. I personally do not recommend this as most of their practices seem shady to me. If you do actually do this, please make sure you uninstall this app after using it.

I'd be able to live with the outdated look (yes, everything has that 90's feeling), and the multitude of options and endless, confusing menus are great for a system nerd like me. But. This stuff is full of bugs. The app is no less than useless. The Chrome extension doesn't work half the time. The web based password vault is so impractical and full of little glitches that it makes me cringe. I cannot use this. Their support is actually an existing feature (which surprised me, to be honest), and quick at that - but not very helpful. I'm not sure I'd be either, if this was my product. I'm out.

It's not password-less, it makes me use my fingerprint and then a pin every time I switch to the password page even when the app is already in use. And I can't export. The help for exporting shows menu options that don't exist. I didn't anticipate being stuck here once I tried it for a while. Sneaky foul play tactics.

Just switched from LastPass and I'm disappointed. I expected this password manager to be able to autofill my login details on phone apps. That is one of my primary uses of a password manager. I want quick access to phone apps. With this my only options are either: use the web version of everything, or go in to the LogMeOnce app, copy the password, and then paste it in the app. Which obviously isn't very secure or time-saving.

The app outright doesn't work. I tried no less than 10 times to set up and account and every time it would tell me "your account password is expired" but I hadn't established a password yet. Then, the "signing in" dialogue box would just hang around indefinitely. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Failed at the 1st hurdle and kept on failing! I want to import my passwords from LastPass which I only have on mobile devices. LogMeOnce only allows importing from their web browser. They demand a PIN, but have arbitrarily set it as a 6 digit field. I have either a 4 or an 8 digit PIN. They offer to add the browser extension on my PC, but failed to note that I don't use Chrome. Additionally they refuse adblockers. Really unimpressed.

App will not load on a Google Pixiel 3a, crashes every time I try to open it even after multiple reinstalls. It does work well on my Samsung Tablet Tab A. It does not auto fill passwords which is annyoing. you have to open the app and copy your login info or use their web browser.

All fluff, no function. The other reviews are right. For my phone it's mostly useless and clunky. Desktop version is the same way. It almost wants to work but fails to perform. I am so glad I tried for free before throwing my money away. I'll now be cleaning this junk off all my devices.

Let me tell you few things on LogMeOnce password manager. I am the type of person that logs in to many website during the day and keep open a lot of tabs. What makes me really happy, Logmeonce has a feature called auto logout. As soon as I logout from Logmeonce all my account gets automatically logged out. This saves me a lot of time. This is just one their features that I use every single day.

Worst experience I've ever had with an app. The ux (and ui) is absolutely the worst both on browser extensions and the app. everything is clanky, after a week of usage already came with more than one bug that wouldnt let me work. And the design makes everything look so old. I've never been this angry at a product for being so uncaring about their design.

Unbelievably difficult interface to work with. Tried to add a website and software decides to change the name of the site. Attempting to 'edit' impossible! Password managers are supposed to make life easier......well this one doesn't. Off to find one that IS user friendly.

It is difficult to learn but the best password app I've tried. It also has a lot of extra features.

Works great, some minor issues

I already rated the app in another review, but ran out of space. The review is two star for the phone version only, I'm happy with it on my desktop in place of LastPass, but not being able to function with passworded apps on my phone, in addition to it not filling in pwds properly on my phone are deal breakers, so i may reinstall LastPass on my phone, which removes the cross-platform advantage of password keeping software. LogMeOnce calls a website an "app", which is misleading.

The overall functionality is a great concept however it can be a bit cumbersome. My biggest complaint is the app causes substantial battery drain so I have to force close it when not using it. This means everytime I want to long into a website on my pc I have to open this app and log back into it first.

There is basically no tech support. They only use email and repeatedly send same useless link that doesn't fix issue. I jave repearedly told them the link doesn't help but they continue to resend without any extra info given of ways to try to access my acct. One of the most frustr as ting things I've experienced from a developer that wont offer basic solutions to try... and gives me NO option of chatting/speaking with someone who could help my fix login issue.

I started the trial a week go and set up was easily enough, installed their extension. Then imported all my passwords from chrome and quickly saw my password strength was horrible, I couldn't even believe it!!!. After a few back and forth, I change my passwords so there are no duplicates. I can now auto login. I waited a week before leaving a comment to make sure this is really working.I am happy with this app. I will use the free version for now and then I will upgrade. Let's see, so far so goo

Great on my PC but autofill rarely works on my tablet or mobile. I have to use copy and paste. Struggled to set up originally like many other people, but tried today and managed to finish the set up (finally!) . Big thanks for it being free 👍 but would like dark theme.

Moved from Lastpass. While the import process is quite simple, it did not import the "Notes" field of each entry. This is a problem for me. Also, so slow, unbelievable.

Despite it's ugly and outdated design, this was a very useful app. I wish looked more elegant and modern. I do not use its browser because it is very lackluster. As password manager, it is very good.

its ok now but the app can be better. The note should be. locked seperately aside the login pin to the app. I like the idea of daslane for their secure note. Even the. wallet security needs inbuilt passcode or. finger print to access it.

Really quirky with mobile and tablet. Works great with desktop.

Migrated from Lastpass. Doesn't measure up to lastpass. I guess the search for Lastpass "free" successor continues. Most frustrating issue is no autofill when browsing using Google Chrome android app, deal breaker for me.
