LokLok: Draw on a Lock Screen
HOW IT WORKS:
LokLok replaces your Android lock screen with a shared whiteboard that is always in sync between you and whoever you are connected to. Create a group with one or more people, and whenever someone changes their lock screen it’ll be automatically updated on everyone else’s.

LokLok is a free app because we want everyone who likes LokLok to be able to use it. However, if you want to support LokLok you can do so by buying paid stickers ($0.99-1.49 a pack) which are available in the versions 0.79 and up.

the pro: can write a note on lock screen without unlock a phone. the features are similar to galaxy note. no ads. the cons: the writing space is too narrow only 2/3 screen space. if you run out the space, you must erase all to take a new note. also, this app must run all the time. if you close all app then it stops taking a note on lockscreen.
Last update was in 2017, how ridiculous. Very cute idea and it brings lots of joy to my long distance partner - however, the app is just so finicky. It tends to only work every so often on my phone and a lot of times only when the app is suspended. Would love this app and use it all the time if the creators fixed these bugs.
Have been using for years: The concept is brilliant, but it's a neglected app - don't think there have been updates in ages and so it doesn't run correctly on Android 10 - there are often sync issues. Would be willing to pay for a pro version if it meant the app got some love from its developers
It was a very good app, especially for long distance relationships. But now I cannot connect at all to my account. It says this app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly. Please upgrade it to support the latest Android. Please fix this soon, thank you in advance!
Great idea. But the app just doesn't work. Took several attempts to get my account or phone number to connect. Keep getting network connection errors. When I finally did get it to work, I couldn't connect with anyone else. Kind of the whole point is to connect to others.
Starting with the bad, This app is buggy it uses more data than any other app on my phone despite fact we don't change out screen that often why?, always draws on the screen in my pocket. However it is fun and a really great idea for an app great idea dudes :)
Fun idea, crappy app. Notifies you about your own drawing, not the other person, which is pretty useless. Also doesn't update the picture - can take several days and a bunch of closing and reopening the app to see what the other person sent me. Just text them the picture
This app is an amazing idea! However, it does not work. There has not been an update in two years, and emailing the developer has not provided any results. I'm so disappointed. I'm in a long distance relationship, and this app would have been absolutely perfect for us! If the developers are no longer interested in making improvements to this app, they should consider selling to developers who would keep this app alive. I haven't uninstalled it yet in hopes that it will work someday.
just quick tips, i think when we try to build it (that's what i called it) just make it available when we open the app, cause its pretty annoying when i try to light the screen and accidentally touch the memo and its start to the edit mode. hope you listening
For a bit, the app functioned perfectly. However, as of late, notification delivery has been nonexistent. It is a great concept and I hope to see this minor issue fixed.
Amazing Idea. But poor execution. When such an amazing app has soo many problems, it's very disappointing. The screens don't get updated or take forever to update. Hope it's solved soon
It's good. Wish there was different paintbrushes like spray and a bigger range of colours to chose from. Perhaps a few more size options for the paintbrush too. I love the app other than that
its really a good app. but it takes quite some time to get updated on the other lock screen. make it get updated on the ither screen faster just as fast as messages through WhatsApp and all, and itll be perfect. its fun to use.
This app does not work with my android at all. I never was able to see any pictures of the other group member and it took more than 10 minutes for them to see sometimes mine. This is a buggy mess.
Its not working in my device. I have am MI 5A and i cant login with my phone number. Also it doesnt show up on my lock screen. I can only see my lock screen msgs on loklok when i tap on the app icon manually. Its useless if i have to open it. I can simply use WhatsApp for something like this.
LokLok has given me and my partner nothing but delight. It's so nice to be able to surprise each other with cute pictures and know we're looking at the same picture when we're apart. I've used LokLok for two years or something - and it's just great. I doubt I've kept any other non-utility app that long
It's cute and fun to share, however if a screen is turned on (by a notification or something) in a pocket, the images may and have been messed up.
Ughhhh I want to love this app. The idea is absolutely brilliant. However, why would I allow a doodle app the rights to permanently delete my contacts? After reading the reviews it looks like it's not being maintained anyway. What a bummer :'(
It keeps crashing and it slows my phone down. After restarting my phone, I cant use it properly until loklok finally crashes and it frees me. I have the latest update too.
Really cute idea, but I got a warning that the app was designed for an older version of Android and it couldn't connect to my wireless service.
keep having issues with the background image. for some reason it started using an old background, and even when I attempted to change it back to the new one again, it wouldnt save.......
after about a year of enjoying this app with my partner im saddened to say i will be uninstalling it due to it no longer updating my lockscreen. it was fun while it lasted. hope the problems get worked out in the future.
Its pretty good. Needs 3 things. 1.zoom feature for more detail drawing. 2. More colors. 3. fix crashing issues
Edit : as I switched to a new phone with Android 10 , the app says that it is designed for lower versions of Android and it won't connect to server anymore . It's really a great idea and everything is good here . But there is one problem , the speed ! The lockscreens are synced very slowly and that's not what we expected . Even it's possible to loose your drawing because they couldn't sync your drawing with the server or your group or anything else .
