Lollipop - Smart baby monitor

Constantly "won't connect" and you have to unplug it and repair it every time, especially if there is an update, and it's always while they are asleep. I'm not going in there and waking her up, so I have to just hope she's OK until she wakes up. I wish I'd bought a different camera. Also, all the "diagnostic tool" for the wifi does, is tell you the wifi isn't working...

Camera lags and issues of viewing live stream constantly. This app used to work well, but now it just doesn't and this is a huge issue since this is how we check how our newborn is sleeping. We unplug, restart, and SOMETIMES it works. Wish this bug could be updated soon!

Great camera, there hardly any delay and I have had no connection issues so far. The picture is clear and there are a few music options. the only problem that I have with it, is I don't know if the mic works. there is no option to adjust the volume of the mic.

Always going offline, very frustrating having to go into babys room to turn on and of camra in order for it to reconnect, is not my WiFi as everything else in the house is not effected, if this didn't happen ALL the time I'd love the product.

I disabled cloud sync as soon as I got my unit over a year ago. You then need to be on the same network for it to work. Fair enough, but it rarely works well. It doesn't seem to search for the camera unless you expand the camera view and zoom out again to trigger the loading spinner to appear. Once in a blue moon it will load stupid fast. Network conditions in the house are great. Network diagnosis in-app shows no issues. It's been frustrating for over a year.

I agree with the dozens of reviews regarding the poor wifi connectivity. This product drops wifi or doesn't even connect to it. I read the troubleshooting advice and did the diagnostic test, and my connection is good so this should work, but it doesn't. I am very frustrated and disappointed with this product. Don't tell me to run the diag check again, when I can't even connect to wifi.

Quite happy with this device which we have been using for almost a year. Some connectivity issues at times but out wifi is not always reliable. It's been working good at distance/away from the house when it's using data. However since the last update a few days ago we constantly have to go back and forth between the 2 "main" screens as the camera says "live" but the image is frozen, which is annoying.

I'm sorry to give such a low rating but it's unreliability for staying connected at times has pushed me too far. Generally we love the camera and app, it's easy to use and works very well... When it works. We can go days even a week with no issue but tonight while trying to keep an eye on my child while they're in the crib and I'm outside the room, it just kept spinning and trying to connect which is useless to me. It may not always do it but it seems like it always does when I need it most.

I love this app! I am a nanny and my family uses it, and by extention I use it, for my 4 month old charge. It simplifies everything so much!! We can check in on the baby, we can play music, and we get alerts when they are crying! I have two notes that don't detract from the rating but I feel like would improve functionality. The option to bypass do not disturb, as my nanny fam and I both prefer to dnd our phones at night. And unique notification tones. Thank you so much for a great program!

Being generous giving 2 stars. Stuck with this camera for more than a year and while it did an OK job, the camera itself had horrible wireless connection issues. It would constantly drop out and each time I would contact support, it was blamed on camera placement in regards to closeness to the router. I went as far to buy another access point to extend the signal to that side of the house and it didnt fix the issue. I finally broke down, bought a Nanit, and have had great signal and zero issues.

What happened to the old design? It was simple and easy to use. Now it's complicated. The new UI tried to fit way too much into a small space. Half the stuff isn't that useful for day to day operation. Audio in the background is pretty much broken. Roll it back and give us the tried and tested version back and put better thought into your UI design.

After the last update, it's less often now, but the video feed still freezes when switching from another app to this one. Specifically only happens when a camera feed is selected before switching to another app (or just going to home screen). Coming back to the app afterwards, about 75% of the time the video is frozen (but the audio and time stamp in the lower left corner works fine, which is how I can tell).

Really like the system and it's well updated. I now have multiple cameras and am very happy. Only criticism/request is that I wish I could click a button and all the screenshot previews for the various cameras get refreshed. That way I could get a quick glance about what's going on in the immediate past and be able to select the appropriate camera. Currently the screenshot previews are a bit old and don't reflect very recent activity.

This camera and app is hopeless. Connectivity is shockingly poor, and this is with a wifi extender RIGHT NEXT to the camera. The live feed takes forever to load, when it works. But half the time it does not even work. The other functions such as play music and talk are nice touches, but again hardly works. Most frustrating thing is the camera randomly stops working or taking images, which requires resetting. This occurs far too frequently. Poor product overall.

The app used to work pretty well but it has now started to drain my battery very rapidly due to CPU usage. It is almost unusable. Additionally, there is no noise-cancelling do if you turn on white noise through the camera, you get white noise on your phone and cannot hear your child. Another feature that competitors have is full playback, so I can see what time my child woke up but this does not.

Good product. Like the app. We've been using this camera for almost 2 years and are very happy with it. There have been times where the connection inexplicably fails but these are rare. Sometimes the software updates result in the app working badly but again this is rare. The camera quality is good enough to see if a baby is breathing in a dark room. It does what it needs to. We have only used the free version and it is sufficient. Stores notification videos for up to a week.

Overall good quality, but I'm having an issue as of recently. I'll be on the same network that the camera is connected to, with good signal. Then when I go to change the standby setting, it says its offline, even with everything set up correctly, would be a higher rating if it werent for this issue.

The camera itself is nice, handy to wrap it around the cot and the idea of being able to access the app wherever you are is nice. Unfortunately it streams horrifically - always distored and freezes with a bunch of crazy lines all the time. It disconnects in the middle of the night setting my phone alarm off to let me know. And after paying so much for the device I can't believe you have to pay to unlock all the app features. Sadly I regret buying the camera and 10/10 would not recommend.

We loved the idea and that is why we bought both the camera and the sensor, but it is so buggy that we cannot trust it anymore. We always have to double check the clock on the corner of screen to make sure the camera is live and we are not watching an offline picture!!! 🤯 I tried resetting and reconfiguring the wifi connection ten times but the connection issue is always there even though it may work for a short period. Every Firmware and App update we are hopping the problem gets solved. ⌛

Cameras cut in and out constantly.... only seems to work about 40% of the time, and we have 3 of them. The idea is awesome and incredibly handy, but they almost always seem to freeze or lose connection when we need them most. We even upgraded our router, moved it and relocated all 3 cameras attempting to fix the signals but still, no improvements. Not to mention these won't work on a 5G network so any strong router upgrade is completely useless, rendering these ineffective.
