London Bus Checker Free: Times

This app is brilliant saved me getting wet in the rain many a time waiting for buses. Unfortunately I had already paid for the ad free version which got upgraded to the UK version which is very bloated and bad in parts of the mapping. So I was forced to reinstall this version and pay again for no ads...its a very sneaky and dishonest way of taking people's money!

This app is slowly getting worse. Will often fail to get bus times, when other bus apps work fine. Whats annoying me now though are the ads that basically hijack your phone. The ad starts playing almost straight away, and you can't back out or close it. You have to force quit the app. Sometimes the ad will finish playing then just stays on the ad screen as well. Again the only way out is to force close the app. Not good.

Used to be such a good solid app, now it's almost unusable. The widget hardly ever works, it just freezes when you tap it or try to switch between favourites. Even going into the app to view bus times doesn't work all the time, it just hangs without displaying times. Unless an update is released to fix the problems I'll have to use another app.

The app would be great if it wasnt for the giant bar down the left hand side of the screen that serves no purpose, the banner at the top and the button telling me to zoom in (well, d'uh on that one) that reduce the map size to 1/4 of my phones screen. The london transport website is easier to use on phone than this app.

Yep have to agree with others. Have used this app for over 3/4 years and is usually extremely reliable, but if the issue with the widget isn't resolved shortly, as its been off and on like this for a while (most of February). I'll have to uninstall as it is no longer reliable.

Stopped using this a good few months ago. This app used to have a fantastic format that the developers destroyed. It went from brilliant to terrible in a single update. The development team never respond about THAT awful unrequired update. I'd love to come back one day like many others but the stubbornness will prevail and nothing will improve.

I have been using this app for a few years now and apart from a few occasions it has served me very well...HATS OFF TO THE ORIGINATOR. It is serving the Transport system of London in the best possible way and I am sure it will evolve even more in the future. There are too many bus diversions these days in London and buses seem to take wierd routes avoiding the road works and cause all kinds of delays to passenger journeys...It would be good if you would think on this 'forever occurring problem'.

widget doesn't work !!! has always worked on older phones but since upgrading to a galaxy s7 no favourites appear on the widget. I emailed the support address months ago and never received a reply. this was my favourite app/widget combo but now it's a 1 star in afraid !! unless this prompts some customer service I would not recommend.

App is getting unreliable. 3 short stops at the start of my journey. 1 says no buses, another says bus in 3 minutes and another says 20 minutes. This happens all the time. Uninstalling and not using until it's resolved. Shame because I've used this app for years.

it used to work ok but for the past 3 days I can't get the bus arrival times. It's not loading or says nothing expected. My internet connection is fine, all the other apps and streaming works perfectly just not this app. I'm forced to use arrival times on tfl website.

This is invaluable to me. I can leave home at the right time and not waste time at bus stops. i use the favourites feature a lot. It also gives up to date information about my local trains, which was an unexpected bonus.

App has not worked for 3 days now. Map appears but no bus information is returned. Message states your engineers are aware of the problem, but no resolution in 3 days. Tried to report this issue to you online, but the Support Form also 'Failed to load'. The alternative TfL App which uses the same data is working fine.

I've relied on this app for many years now, recommend it for anyone living or commuting in London. Google maps has caught up with inclusion of live bus/train times, but i still prefer this app for its strict focus on London/ TFL

The latest update says widget and bugs fixed. This is incorrect because the widget does not show my favourite bus stops and is completely blank, please fix asap. Apart from the widget problem the app is good.

I've been using this app for years and recently it stopped showing bus routes and send to have turned into an app for planning journeys rather than about live arrivals. I'm going to find another more useful app.

Lately it has shown busses are due in the next few mins to only disappear from the list and now the waiting time jumps to like 25 mins wait after I have already waited for the scheduled bus to come and nothing shows up, it never used to happen so please fix this bug issue

Widget stopped working again. Bus stop info not up to date. Tapping opens the app where it should update info. Favourites selector the same? This used to be the go to bus app, seems its unsupported now??

It gives train times as well as bus times from near to where you are. The timings seem to be more accurate than in other apps.

This app has an awful way of pushing full screen commercials on your mobile, with tiny and ever moving x button to get rid off adverts. Super annoying.

After the update the widget no longer works and just comes up blank and can'tbe resized?? Clearly not working on all devices!! Please fix this as this would normally be a 5 star rating!

It WAS an amazing app, but since the update it no longer shows clear bus times or bus numbers. It no longer saves my home and work routes.

I paid once to remove ads. Now they want me to pay again?! Filth. There are better apps out there, so steer clear of this junk

It was working perfectly well in an old Xperia X Compact until yesterday. Upgraded to Xperia 10 III and now it's buggy, crashing straight away after launching.

Ive used this app for years and its been great. its normally so good but lately the timing is off. which basically means is doesnt work because that is its only job. please sort it out. i have the latest version.

Most bus stops in Stratford Bus Station have changed more than 6 months ago, but your app still shows the last year's layout. For example, D8 departures for Crossharbour is shown to be on Stop C ! This has not been the case for more than 6 months already! Do you ever update?

Used to love this app but the widget no longer works so I have to go ALLLLLL the way into the app to find out when the next bus is. Irritating when you're in a rush. Fix the widget and I'll give you 5 stars.

Was a great app but the widget does not work any longer. Might be android version 10 issue but it is the only reason I have the app and paid for ad removal.
