London Bus Pal Free
Features:• Bus stops near my current location: shows all stops near me now and predicted arrivals for the next 30 minutes.• Bus stop view: shows all buses predicted to call at the specific stop in the next 30 minutes.• Bus route view: shows all stops on a route where a bus will call within the next 30 minutes and show when the next bus for that route is due at each stop on the route. New: switch to the map view will show you a map with markers indicating when the next bus will arrive at each bus stop.• Specific bus view: shows all predicted calling points for a specific bus in the next 30 minutes.• Search functionality: you can search using bus route number, bus stop number, bus registration number and by post code or GPS co-ordinates for all stops near a specific location in London.• Map views (new!): for any of the above views, you can switch to a map view of the information. Centre the map anywhere on London and press the refresh button to see bus stops in the area.
All prediction data is supplied by Transport for London.

Not As Good Anymore. I have the ad free version. For the past 6 months arrival times are incorrect and only refreshes by closing and restarting the app. The update did not fix the problem like it was supposed to. Edit 16/12/20 I changed the settings as advised and it works better than before, but I still sometimes have to restart the app but not as frequently as before. Thanks for your good communication.
This is a great app. But there is one downside to it. The app keeps popping up with an alert of no internet connection and then doesn't refresh when I am connected to either wifi or my data. I have to close the app and reopen it for it to work. If this problem could be fixed then I'd be happy to give it 5 stars.
I've just downloaded this app today and already I prefer it to other ones I've used in the past. It does what it's supposed to. I especially like the additional info icon. A very simple to use app while being a much lighter one compared to others. I would recommend. Update: 13.8.21 I'm still liking/using this app. It's accurate and I especially like the bus identifier info, good idea being able to see how long a bus has been in service for and other info.
The nearby button is not working properly. When I'm out it always goes to my home destination. So I have to either reboot my phone to get it to work or uninstall & re-install the app to get it to work. Hope you can sort this annoying problem out. Once fixed I will re-write the review. Thanks
It was very nice to send a notice you unpublished. I will uninstall it. Anyways, I installed the "free" app, but paid £2 just to not see the ads. I prefer to buy an app than to see the ads. I know it's take time and effort to build such a great app that's why I've bought the purchasing one instead of free one. Give you back the 5 stars as I love it and I using it every day. Very useful but doesn't always show if buses on detour. Waited for a bus and as it was due it disappeared as it was on a different route - this didn't show. Otherwise really useful especially if out somewhere where the area is unfamiliar.
I think it is really good because it specifies the amount of seconds for the bus yo come and I especially am very appreciative of the journey planner which helps me to get to place I don't know or places that are far away. Therefore, this app is helpful during my journey and hopefully other people journeys
It's a really useful app and is pretty accurate. My only problem is that, randomly, a bus will appear. Sometimes this has been actually useful but other times it's a hinderence as I'd leave home too late
Good app but unfortunately some stops are missed off the routes and sometimes route not showing at all but shows times at departing stop. Thought at first stops were missed off on route because stops were closed but this is not the case. Is pretty accurate with arrival times and the little history on each bus is a good little touch.
Really fantastic app. Surprised it doesn't have any reviewa at all. Times are very accurate and the UX is really good, so it helps me navigate Central London where sometimes taking the tube would be more time consuming. Accuracy almost always beats that of Google Maps. Thank you!
This is the best free bus app for far that I'm using. I have 2 more apps for different features and I use it for less than a minute, cause they are just add money making app. This one is full of features the others haven't even think about. The updating is very accurate now. 👊🏾 Highly recommended!
I use this app, some of the time, but the most important thing about it is that, it's spot on!!! All the bus arrival times, are as there are, as indicated on the mobile phone screen!!! So please, keep it up and at the same time, improve on it further!!! Kind regards!!
Makes life so much easier! I don't see the bus driving off anymore as I can time the buses arrival & get to the stop with a few minutes to spare. Thus helps a lot in the rain & cold weather!! Would definitely recommend.
Very useful. Only criticism is that some of the photos are a little dated (e.g SN60EBF hasn't worked the H98 for almost a year and all the photos are of it working the H98). A lot of care has gone into making the app so definitely 5 stars!
Really good, very reliable and often up (and accurate) when the officil timetabke.is down. Functions are clear, and there's a nice range of them. I have tried other London bus apps, this is the best so far.
This App is very easy to use, when you find out how to use it. It is a fab app, because it lets you store your most used and favourite bus stops. All in all an excellent App. On the whole when I am out and about in London, the bus times on this App are accurate. I can plan my day with ease, so I'm glad I have this App, so thanks.
08/03/2021 90% satisfaction also just found how to reorder favourites but cannot change print size when viewing a complete bus route. Standing by bus stop with gsp on and the app does not where I am. Thanks for prompt reply, I must say previous use has been very useful.
Works nicely and the feature listing stops on bus routes makes setting favourites easy. What would help is the facility to make the app open directly to the Favourites page. Edit: The instructions given to set the Favourites as default work.
Finally found a good bus app. The ads are not intrusive like the ones in the app I've just deleted which had my multiple full page ads. The app is very well designed and is a pleasure to use.
Much better usable user interface, well laid out, use it very often. Doesn't freeze any more as in previous version.
I really like this app. It is easy tonuse and very accurate with the time s. My only minor request if possible is to have a choice of putting a leaving time in when accessing the journey planner.
2021-04 note: I have used most of the bus arrival apps, and ALL are suffering from data drop outs at the moment (missing stops, buses, etc). Not the developer's fault at all.
I have been using so many London transport apps but this come to be the best. It will be great if you guys can add an alert when there is any closure either bus or train this wil be be helpful. Thank you so much for your amazing work guys.
This app is right about 50% of the time but I suppose a broken clock is right twice a day. I use this app frequently so that I can plan my journey from front door to bus-stop only to find 'No buses due within the next 30 minutes'. So I wait for the next one only to find the bus that I need zoom right past my window. Alternatively, they will often tell you that a bus is due in two minutes and have you wait for fifteen. This is incorrect information and needs to be improved. Unhappy customer.
Very useful. Easy to check and is never wrong. This app is still in progress but it already works perfectly. I recommend this app for anyone who uses TFL services regularly.
I have found the app to be reliable. Only on a few occasions when I have needed it to work it hasn't. Otherwise the timings of the bus have been acurate and I have found the app fairly easy to use.
Very good app. Wanted to give it 5 stars, but have reinstalled in to my HTC M9 after fixing the charging port and all though just as fast as it was before for some reason it is not as accurate. Don't know if this is the app designers fault or transport for London. Will still keep it though as generally still very pleased with it. The problem doesn't occur often enough to consider changing, although it is quite annoying at the time.
