Good idea, but needs more work. The map constantly zooms around when trying to find a route. You can't rewind commentary if you want to revisit something or realise you are looking at the wrong thing. If you accidentally come out of the walk you are doing there's no easy way back in. Plus some typos which can easily be corrected. Good idea, but I spent a lot of time trying to get back into the walk rather than enjoying the walk.

Really like this app, it provides simple, well paced but interesting walks. The stuff it shows you are away from the more obvious tourist parts which I love. The app has a few hiccups here and there but they're easy to get over. It would be great to have an option for creating personal walk, an extension to the existing "Explore" feature, but allowing you to select a list of points and "follow" it similar to the official walks. Keep up the great work!!

Lovely app. I just read in the local board about the new route in Sevenoaks and it is very nice. I lived here for a while and it's nice to learn new things about my town

We've been using the app for lockdown walks round London. We've both lived here for many years and love exploring the city. We love Trail Tales, the walks are interesting and always take us to nooks and crannies we've never been before. We find the audio narrator charming, but her unfamiliarity with what she is reading and misprounciations can be a distraction. Might be worth rerecording with a more confident voiceover. Netherless we had a lovely time doing the Towers tour today. :)

We live in London and have been enjoying London on a much deeper level thanks to this app. It has made our lockdown weekend's bearable again. The first walk we did made me feel free and out of our usual routine. I felt like I had been reborn again! It's been hard not being able to go on holiday. With these tours, it almost feels like we're on holiday again. Thank you trail tale thank you x

This is a very awesome application for those living in or just visiting London. It serves as an amazing guide to historical and fascinating places. The app is also a good place to learn more about London's tourist attractions and history. It's definitely a 5 stars for me!!

The idea is good, but the app needs more work. There are plenty of things in Central London, but not much as you move out. There are a lot of things to see in the UK, especially in the countryside, but this app shows very little for now. Looking forward to future improvements.

Barely in Yorkshire! Absolutely astounded that there's no trails in York despite its vibrant history. Not a thing in Leeds or the beautiful countryside surrounding it? Seems to only be useful for visiting London or the Middlands. What a shame, really wanted to explore my local area...

Inaccessible. This app has such a small font and low contrast colour scheme, it is not usable unfortunately. Since it hasn't been updated since 2017 it is unlikely this will change.

My first usage has been to look at Colchester, which we are visiting shortly. It was an interesting and informative introduction to the town. If the rest of the entries are as interesting as this one, this app. will prove to be a useful download.

Great app. Would have no idea what I'm walking by and takes you through great areas that most tourists might miss.

Rah. R. Jun 10, 2021

It looks that application is good and more informative about UK'S famous and historic places and the most attractive thing to me is that a lot of information in the form of text and also in audio available.

Tes. S. Oct 26, 2020

It told me there are no places of interest near me. I live in London!!! EDIT: Received a response from the developer telling me there are 750 interesting points in London. No kidding? Not apparent on the app though.

This app says walks for GB towns, when really it should say English towns. There's heaps in England and only 2 for Scotland. Very very disappointing.

Only one walk south of the river in London. Was this written by a taxi driver? If you are going to claim to cover London, you need to actually cover London. Edit :- I just downgraded from 2* to 1* due to the way fast-twonk euro, or whatever they are called, responded to my comment.
