Was a very accurate and good app, however, when checking the time of the bus, when I click on a stop along the route, it always says, information unavailable and I have to search for the stop manually, can you fix this bug please, then will change to 5 ☆. (Update, now fixed, so 5 stars). Yes, top 4 here we come!
Very useful. It has all the bus stops and stations and is very easy to use. Always more accurate than what the stations themselves say.
Used to be spot on most of the time but for last 6 months to a year, it's become worse than useless. Uninstalled.
Its good but also horrible. I wanted to go on a bus and it was in 5 minutes but the bus already went. This has happened countless times. And then I get late. Please fix this now 😡
App doesn't work, doesn't refresh doesn't respond to clicks. Original app much better
Exceptional app. The best available for London travel. Extremely accurate with live departure times for buses, tubes, trains and everything else. Very easy to use interface. Even includes live webcams for some main roads. Updates on tube lines services and planned maintenance periods/bus replacement dates and times. It's never let me down once. The only feature that could be improved is the journey planner. It works but could be easier to use. When I input my home address it doesn't save it.
I've just started using this app, after my previous one (urban things london bus checker) literally hijacked my phone with an ad, even when the app was closed from the tray. It's looking good so far, but the option to rename bus stops in the favourites list would be really useful. I have quite a lot of stops saved, so to pick one out quickly, with a familiar name really helps out.
I've used this for several years. Good in general but occasionally irritating. Interface not always intuitive and can be difficult to select some bus routes towards the bottom of the page, it keeps selecting the one above. I have fallen victim like others to buses disappearing and then reappearing but not sure if the app is at fault or the tfl service that it uses for this info. Once setup how you want it can be a useful app.
Really badly designed app. Way too much going on. I wanted to find bus times, typed in the number and when i clicked the route it would only show part of it. i had to search the bus stop to find the full thing. The app could be simplfied so much by only showing the full routes for each bus. Just one page per bus with each stop updated frequently.
Have used it for years with no issue, but it has recently been abysmal. Missing stops, completely incorrect times (I suspect it only accounts for the schedule and doesn't consider early/delayed buses) and the interface has always been uncomfortable to be honest. So I was forced to rely on Google maps recently which was fine, but I've now switched to citymapper and recommend you do so too
very useful app. have used this extensively in cwntral london, great to get away from tube andd into walking and buses. would like to see two new functions: ability to find the nearest bus stop for a specific bus; option to choose simplest route instead of quickest/most direct. I'd rather take 10 or 15 minutes longer if it means i have 1 or 2 fewer changes.
Used to be good. Used to be easy to use. Used to be quick. Now it's the classic example of bloatware; far, far too complicated, far too many options and other bits that make it too faffy unless you have a computing degree. It's a shame, was was my go to app when I needed the info... There are better, simpler options.
Ads a bit annoying, as you can't get past them when you're in a hurry to see the bus times. Sometimes the app doesn't display live times for certain routes and it is hard to know if that is down to tfl or the app. Sometimes another app has live times sometimes it doesn't. Go figure, as they say across the pond.
gives the wrong time for when the bus is arriving and only changes once it is too late to get to the bus stop on time
Not always accurate but nevertheless a very helpful tool.
Amazing accurate and very reliable and quick showing
use it daily. it's a shame that tfl is as reliable as 1 ply toilet paper.
Accurate and Efficient. User friendly.
Reliable and accurate information up to date.
very good for planning journeys and just to know how long before the bus will turn up.
you can see the right time for when you arrive since I'm a kid this is super helpful for school!!!
80% times of buses are correct, but there is always time when buses turn up unexpected
A very handy app. W It would be handy seeing on map precisely where bus's actualy are on say, favourite routes, without knowing the bus serial number, which you can only find out once it arrives !! It would also be handy if you could see route to be taken when bus's are being diverted from usual route, so that you can work out, which stop is best for you on a route you don't know, if you have limited walking capability, young kids etc etc that type of info can be very useful..
Generally works well but the 358s were not using the app between penge sainsbury and Crystal Palace station today has been a strike
they don't really give the right time anymore, it was better before certain updates.
Althought it gives an accurate time for buses my issue is I can never get on to check how much fare I have left on my card. I've even tried doing it via the website to no joy. All I get is "error" at the top of the page once I've logged in. I cannot get any further than the verification page and that's with finding whatever you have to find (cars for example) it just takes you back to the verification page.
It's called Bus Countdown, but it does SO much more than that. It also does the Tube (London Underground), train and "Boris" bikes. At the bike stops it shows how many bikes and spaces to park are available. This app has a nice UI, loads fast and is easy and intuitive to use. It works very well in poor signal areas and doesn't seem to drain phone battery (I've used it on more than one phone).
Much better than most apps I tried, but could still use some work on automatically opening to where you are, rather than where you started, and bits like that. Rail inclusion is definitely helpful, though a bit inflexible if you need a slightly different routing (eg mobility issues/wheelchair). I still rated it 4/5 overall, though 🤔😉
