The times could change so quickly and unpredictably, such as today, 5 mins ago checking there were still 2 buses later, 5 mins after checking there was none. So unreliable. I'd better just trust Google map from now on. London public transit doesn't really care about their customers.
This is the best London transit app I've tried, and I've tried most, if not all, of them. This is one of the few apps that' pulls live arrival time data from the revamped LTC website. Beware of LTC apps that just use static bus schedule data. The interface is a little dated looking, but it conveys all the info you need.
It's a wonderful app. I had to buy the app to get rid of the adverts cos I needed to see more of the map Area. My expectations were met. I've discarded the other transit app I was using prior to getting this app. I'm really impressed with app. The arrival and departure of the buses were exact. Developer should continue to improve on the performance of the app. Best wishes...
Better than most other ltc apps I've tried but I can think of 2 areas for improvement. 1) once a bus came by my stop that didn't register on the app AT ALL, sometimes these buses would have been a more convenient option (in their defense, this bus didn't come up on google maps either.) 2) would be nice to have the scheduled time next to the live time. I've missed buses because the app thought it would be delayed and realized it wouldn't way too late (going from 10 mins away to 1 min away in a few seconds). Because of this I have to search times on google maps and primarily schedule around that
Missing stop? The stop next to 1944 on route 13 is gone and has been for a few weeks now. The bus still stops there, but the data and the stop flag itself are missing. Other than that the app works reasonably ok. Sometimes gets stuck thinking a bus wont come, and I have to restart the app for it to tell me, but it works most of the time.
90% if the time it works great, but that one percent of the time that I miss my bus because of this, it's insanely frustrating. Edit: That other 9% includes the things that are not rage-inducing (some of which I understand is probably LTCs issues and not the apps) but still tedious: randomly saying "no further stops", staying resident in memory for days then randomly reseting when tabbing to other apps, the long delay in opening "paper schedules" (no local storage?), etc.
Just an accurate bus app. Won't need to pull up a website, just a simple tap n' tap.
Mostly good, but it seems whenever I favourite a stop, that stop will not load bus times for me. It will say repeatedly "unable to connect to LTC servers" for that stop regardless of refresh, but will load other stops. Can be very annoying. The particular stop I notice this happening at (the stop I use most often) is Queens at Clarence in the mornings.
Its a pretty good app if Ltc was a good transit company. They go hand in hand. Far to many time do I plan bus routes on the app, and theres a few minutes delay, or the bus decided to double in speed for a moment. Ltc is unreliable, therefor the app is unreliable. Good idea in theory though.
Overall critique of LTC Service (being provided since pre-covid.) Worst service provided by LTC in 25 years I've lived here.Website says 6 minutes (updated every 60 seconds). I go outside, it's going past the stop at the END of my driveway. I have been taking buses since I moved here, the monthly pass only good for 40 trips means it's only good for 20 RETURN trips.I purchase tickets as well for travel. Many new drivers very rude.
Good design in terms of UI, but the data that shows either lags or, in the case of Sundays, is highly inaccurate. I've either missed several busses or waited for ones that showed up 30-40 mins later than the ETA given. You're better off looking up the routes on the actual website.
LTC has relocated or repositioned many stops, the app does not reflect those changes as of February 2021, but were implemented in 2020. Examples: Route 1 southbound, on Wellington, the bus stops north of Queens Avenue not near One London Place and the stop just south of Dundas and Wellington is missing in this version. Stop 1963 has combined Routes 13 and 90 northbound just south of Southdale. Accuracy and due diligence to update, is important for disabled passengers please.
Unfortunately, this app is not accurate/real time. I am sitting in the stop, app shows bus has come and left, but actually it didn't come. So, this app works purely on predictions and not real time. Not helpful as there will always be traffic during peak times and we cannot depend on this app.
I like the app. It gives you real time bus information, but I dont like that the city buses were always late and the times are always changing. Almost like LTC has a set schedule that they cant seem to help but not be able to keep up with.
it's a good app, but it doesn't show the bus position accurately sometimes. After I updated it shows only one time. I preferred before when it was showing the next buses as well. Now I don't know when the next bus is coming if I lose it.
I like the format of this app. It's good for people who already know the stop IDs and route they want to take. However, there's an annoying glitch where it won't reload after you refresh the arrival time more than once. I have to close and restart the app all the time.
This app is my life, thank you! I am just wondering if there can be a place where we can send changes to fix some errors. I haven't found many but the bus stops at White Oaks are off with stop 1&2. Once again love the app!!!
It's a pretty good app, usually correct, though rarely it's off on its timing. I love the feature to see the whole map of a route and where it crosses other routes, which makes planning outings much easier.
the colours are difficult to read. writing appears a bit blurry although it's quite large which is nice feature...sometimes I find it difficult to navigate through the ad minefields to find what I'm looking for. its not always accurate
It is good most of the time. So know that it does not take in the consideration of construction. It had the routes in paper form; however, it seemed to of disappeared. That was a great resource. Especially now with Covid, they don't have them on the buses at the moment.
The app is pretty accurate in showing the times and when the buses just left, however it can be hard to pinpoint the exact stop, unless you completely type out the name, also even if I favorite a stop it doesn't show up in my favorites :/
The app is accurate for most parts but the LTC has removed a few stops and relocated them to other places. Also, there are some places like Oxford at Third (bus number 36 from Airport to Fanshawe) where it displays "No Bus scheduled".
Sorry but this app hardly ever works in recent months. Always off schedule, most times lately won't even connect to server. Sometimes bus never comes. I know it's the app cause of If call ltc i'm given a different time then the app. You may as well just trash the app cause it is complete garbage now.
It was working for me but recently, he app did not display any data from LTC and the app kept on having "error on retrieving LTC server" displayed when I looked at my stops. I hope the problem will be fixed soon because I'm pretty reliant on this app.
A few stops that are active are no longer available on the app, this is frustrating because I can't see accurate times for those buses. I hope you can fix this soon, cause I love the app otherwise
