Too many ads. Every word you search and every time you switch between apps an ad appears. Impossible to use.
It's my top favorite dictionary! The explanations, the collocations, and the examples make it the best. Awesome job, guys! Keep it up!
Especially recently too many adds going around. Unfortunately it is unbearable anymore and really pushing the limits. Honestly I am looking for different dictionary because of that...
Ads makes u crazy, it's alot for a dictionary when they are more than words u search. And it can be why u delete this app,but the home part is fine
I've been using this app for a long time and I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a good English app. I don't see anything wrong with it, everything comes in a perfect way. Thanks a lot
I don't think this app is made by Longman. The English used in the menue and settings isn't all correct. For ex., it asks me "Are you rate app Longman English Dictionary?" It won't let me sign up, saying the email address is invalid, which is not. I would gladly buy the paid version, but now I have doubts. I even won't be using the free version bc the ads are with sound which cannot be turned off. Of a note, I want to buy the LDOCE plus activator thesaurus but it's not available for Android.
An ad appears whwnever I search a word, this is too much.
Your advertisements are much more than enough and annoying.Decrease it.
I don't thin a dictionary must have this huge amount of advertising its crazy
Good dictionary of its kind. In English dictionries it is ahead of another dictionaries.
I've been searching for a dictionary that contains: 1. Definition of words in English (some kind of English-English dictionary) 2. Decent transcription (with normal transcription symbols that are used in English language, not like in Google Translator) 3. Voice input, that is inside the program (some program use the one that's just Google voice input and it doesn't always work quickly) And finally, I found it. That is the perfect dictionary. Thank you guys!
There are lots of ads , for every word this app shows one ad
Overall this is quite decent app. Does the job fantastically. But sadly, this app has a bug. I am using a Xiaomi device. In the app, on the trending words section, when i tap multiple times on any word for listening correct pronunciation, the app stops working. It force closes on its own. Please fix them then I would give it 5* rating.
The app is absolutely great, the only thing I miss is the opportunity to add the meaning of the words in my own laguage - which I used to add to the notes - but the edited notes don't appear right next to the saved words, I have to select the word if I want to see the notes - that's quite uncomfortable.
Nice. But definition page does not load. Too many distraction ads.

Longman English dictionary is a good dictionary that is good for every one.
Ads are so annoying. I beg, remove them all. Or put a button to hide them.
It's really one of my favorite and best ever dictionary that I've ever used. It provides a very clear meaning, example as well as the pronunciation, which is easy for me to learn the language. however, it often stops working after certain period of using it even my internet connection is strong. I really hope that this issue will be fixed in the near future. Thanks

A lot of advertising
It's a very good dictionary but how can I download it offline
Learner-friendly. Excellent example sentences based on current usage. Any user whether he/she be a student, scholar, or layman will find it immensely helpful to reach out to the precise meaning and usage of a given word and also replenish their vocabulary. Being a wordsmith wishing the 'App' my very best wishes.
I like the layout of this app, but too many ads come over and over again. It's really annoying... By the way, I don't know why I can't add new words to my groups. Every time I click it, but the app just stop functioning. And then it returns to the previous page. Or does this function can just be done by becoming premium?
Very comprehensive dictionary. The features I like the most and that I miss in other dictionaries are: i) the pronunciation in both US and UK English, ii) the possibility to check your pronunciation of the words using your mic, iii) the numerous examples taken from corpora to exemply the usage of the word.
Hi, this is Zahra and I'm using your app on my phone. Everything seemed perfect till today. But it's not working anymore when I'm searching a word to see the definition and pronunciation, there's an error of " the internet is disconnected", even though my internet has no problem and I'm using it with all other apps with no problem. Could you please help me out of it?
It's good and helpful dictionary that you can have it handy on your phone when ever get curious about a word in English. But what I really don't like is the adds lined up and down.
Advertising is boring and too much Whenever you close the app and open it again,you should see another advertisment. For a new word new advertisment. And i couldn't find some worda in it 2hich i found them in Cambridge dictionary
