Unfortunately, this game has the same cartel/monopoly prices for micro transactions as other mobile games. Used to be $20 for 4 weeks battle pass, but now $20 for 2 weeks. While there are tons of great toons/teams, there is almost no need for them. After collecting, we need more ways to use them. Game needs a new PvE mode that requires the use of multiple teams, with team power match for fun and challenging battles. Most of the game's battles are either too easy or too hard, which is boring.
Updated* Fun to play, but lots of problems. The Arena system is broken. No one wants to wait to find opponents. Most of the time I don't battle because I don't want to wait. The loading time for many functions is also very slow or buggy. The overall game play needs to be made more efficient for a better experience. *edit* a few improvements were made but now the game has been freezing during load times causing loss of energy or rewards. Recently the game doesn't even launch
The idea is great, and very well developed. The main problem (very annoying) is that is full of bugs. It needs a lot of work. Edit: more than a year later, the game is still annoyingly bugged. The 3 stars are because despite that, it's very funny. Still needs a lot of work on the programming side Edit#2: in the past months there was a huge improvement. Now it barely crushes, and although loading times are long, they were reduced by a lot. And still super funny
As an old 'bugs pop-up' for brawl has opened after I've already passed this point the game is making me tap on the Brawl interface and trying to get me to tap on the original chest which no longer appears on the screen with the result that nothing on the screen is working. Tried clearing data cache, Google Play data and even uninstalled/reinstalled the game but when relaunching the game it simply starts with the 'bugs pop-up' over and over again. The cog wheel is inactive.
For me, this game started off fun. Then, as my level got higher, the fun started to dry up. The potions and supplies needed to level toons up became too scarce. Brawls became a never-ending list of people I had no chance of beating. Event toons would nuke my entire team in one or two turns. That's not fun. I wanted to enjoy this game. I really did. It's just not fun for me anymore.
Great game. Been playing since it started. But the latest update has a lot of bugs and glitches. Not recognizing the crates that are taken saying I need to act faster when I just finished getting it and I do all the daily tasks and the energize reatomizer is never completed no matter how many times I do it. Please fix. I really enjoy this game.
For those of you who haven't loaded the game yet if you're looking for no bug fun don't play this game. I've played since 6 months after launch and there's still bugs that haven't been fixed yet. That being said, if you're looking for a game with outstanding graphics, great toons and game play you're here. Just remember that there are many frustrating bugs with limited compensation. It's fun but annoying. Hey devs! Fix it! 😁!
Really big disappointment. I installed the week it came out & have played faithfully everyday, but it has been a consistent downhill slide. They've made it too expensive to upgrade toons & even when you do spend money it gets you nowhere. The amount of different currencies, gadgets, & resources needed are overwhelming & the amount of loading issues, bugs & lagging have rendered it nearly unplayable. New promised update is taking over a week to roll out and it's not longer worth the wait.
A beautifuly animated game ruined. I used to love this game. The detail of the characters and the animations brought back the joy of the cartoons. Unfortunately the app was increasingly buggy, frequently crashing, needing reboots multiple times a day until now it won't even start anymore.
I've been with the game from the beginning spending very little through it all. My ratings have been the reflection of how I felt during the period. I'm excited again. The changes have been a vast improvement, mostly. They finally updated their rewards for wheels and campaigns and towers. They still need more updated rewards and change of the old CS rewards for the numerous new characters. Also wouldn't mind seeing an update on the gadgets to improve on the "select all" to be Select Commons
So you guys cut the battle pass time in half but still charging the same amount. That's horrible! I've been playing this game for 2+years now and i often buy the pass. I can't see myself doing that anymore. It doesn't really seem fair that now i would have to pay 40 dollars, instead of 20, a month. Also if you cant get one, and do the free side you getting screwed bc you will only collect the main characters once a piece if you manage to make it to the end. Shame on you! Smh
Been playing this game since launch and even though a lot of things were fixed as well as some innovative game mechanics, I simply can't recommend this game if you won't be paying to play. Even as a free player you can manage a lot, there's even a group part of the game which is fun, but after a while the game gets repetitive and grindey. New events with new characters every 3 or 4 days, maybe once a week for a whole week and it just gets exhausting.
It would have gotten 5 stars but the glitches happen often sometimes cheat you out of rewards and the arena takes so long to match you , you give up and move on temporarily only to come back and you lost the battles already. I waited 18 minutes sitting there waiting for an opponent. Otherwise great characters cool battles,over the top graphics and there are ALOT of rewards. 4 stars
Your game is bad. I hate you all. I am deleting forever. You people didn't help me. When I told my father did Factory Reset just restore my Progress. As I was working on an Event . I put so much effort to get so many characters . Was planning to get more. But you people didn't help. Even when there were others giving bad comments. I supported you. But instead of helping me you forced me to star from Scratch. As if getting the characters and Levelling up is so easy. But it's not
I would rate this more than 3 stars but I'm having some problems. I keep getting error codes every time I claim a reward for doing tasks and the rewards I get don't go through. I missed out on valuable gems, toon pieces and energy. This needs to be fixed!
Game is good with beautiful UI but many times the game got crushed and freezed. I reached level 79 but from there onwards there is no way to increase the level. Even though we are receiving XP points, there is no use with them.
I redownload the game yesterday and worked fine, then a day later the game is temporarily unplayable for no reason, no toons are showing up in the selection area, toons not being able to be ranked or stared up at some points, battles not starting at all and not loading at some points
This game is fun. Easy. But, 3-4 times per day the game will freeze, and you will lose any resources you spent. Pretty lame bug. @the dev, nah, no faith you will be able fix the issue nor refund the lost assets. @players, do not spend money on energy resources, you will get screwed out of your money
Just installed today seems fun, I had enjoyed playing, however there are many new issues with the game updates. 1st upon opening the game the game bombards you with pop up screens. 1yr later the pop ups ARE 1Ox's worst!!!! Seems like every time there's an update they add more and more pop ups to try to get u to purchase something!
I'm amending my previous review. Apparently the combat bug was a temporary glitch. It all works as intended now. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the combat can get a little repetitive after a while.
The game is a fun character collection game that is light on variety of activities. The last few months have improved stability and how micro transactions worked. While if you want to be high ranking there is still way too much money involved it's still a good overall game to play invetwwn things. Glad I have stick with the game overall fun still.
Everytime they update this app, it doesn't work. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time. I get no help from the app's tech support. Everytime i say something, I get no help. DO NOT install this app, you'll have problems.
Constantly Freezing! You will be waiting for opposition in an arena challenge, by the time you get back to it, battle is over and you are last. You will steal a crate, pay to open it, game will take your gems and freeze. When you get back on game, you lost your gems and don't have the booster s. Fun game, but, very shady! I have other other games on my phone that rarely if ever freeze and I have been playing them for years!
DO NOT UPLOAD!!! Uploads don't work, too reach higher levels you have to pay, If you change phone you lose your levels. It took my levels and characters, it made me start from stage one. No way to open old account, could not even contact support till I was passed level 4. This program is a fraud and I'm removing it.
Honestly it's become a money grab like all mobile games turn into, "staff" give same pre written response of "we will be sure to pass this along, note you may not see changes" it's annoying... Constant bugs that allow other players to advance while if you missed the glitch you get left behind, no chance to ever win a tournament unless you spend mega bucks. Items are way over priced in store for the quality of service/game that we get.
App is prettty garbage. It has potential but is so buggy and on update days it is pretty much unplayable. Along with unfair rigged battles which you lose but when you turn the tables , you still lose takes any enjoyment out of the app. The now non existent support for the endless bugs and glitches which at one time was acceptable makes it pretty worthless.
If you want actually compete, this is a pay to play game. If you're playing just for fun it can be great, and also frustrating due to very slow processing and frequent "updates", about 4x per week during my playing time. The only reason I continue is my developing friendships with international teammates. Changing the format of regional events was the last nail in this game's coffin after a series of changes that push towards an all out pay-to-play approach. They literally took away all rewards possible from normal play and put it behind a pay-wall. Now you cannot progress unless you purchase every little item and spend thousands of dollars. Ridiculous and disrespectful!
