Loop - Caribbean Local News

Sign up was easy and quick. It's user friendly and keeps me up to date on the news. I scroll through it all the time and don't get bored. Lots of content. I especially love loop sunday lunch with the recipes as well. Excellent app.

It doesn't load anymore. I keep seeing the headline popping up as a notification, however, when I click on it to read the full story it doesn't load and it keeps displaying the error message " something went wrong" . Really disappointing.

Hello loop I didn't know anything about loop and one must not be imbarrased to say you didn't know is wasin asking I became knowledgeable and understanding about the difference I now understand local news and was amazed to see videos of situations local international loop became a must watch on happening local and international sports we are globalization thanks to loop and hour by hour happening thanks to loop news 😀

Good app, but your Notifications don't always work, sometimes they just open the app instead of taking me to the article... Also, for the love of all things good, please, PLEASE, add a dark mode.

App runs smooth and the UI is decent. The only thing missing is Dark Mode because it's easier on the eyes and would make reading at night much more comfortable. Can that be added please?

Great app for latest news updates. The interface needs some work though. Everytime I'm scrolling down or up to look at all the topics, it would just slide towards left or right mistakenly to the other categories. Then When I slide back to the latest news category I would have to start from the very top. It always annoys me and it does happen very often. I think that sliding feature is a bit to sensitive.

It causes ads to pop up on my phone even though the app is closed. I wouldn't mind if it came up while I used the app but it comes up regardless and during inconvenient times. I tested this out twice by installing and reinstalling and confirmed that it was this app. I have uninstalled it and no longer have that issue. I would prefer the old ways when the link in the text directed me to a website rather than to the app or maybe you can provide both links via text.

Simple and easy to understand app that tells you the latest news. You can't go wrong. Give it a try!

Whenever I am reading stories the app scrolls back to the top of the page. This will happen every 10 seconds making it unusable . Also, is it intended for the app to be unresponsive when refreshing a page? I mean, when i the page is refreshing I can do nothing and the lighting on the page goes dim. Edit Months Later: The app is still horrible. It brings news and all, but it's extremely unstable. I get notifications that I'll spend some time reading and all of a sudden the app will just close.

Great to receive timely news. User interface is very annoying however....I will be scrolling reading the news on the "latest" tab and the slightest movement to the left or right results in the app shifting to the "My feed" tab or "popular" tab....by the time I switch back to the "latest" tab it refreshes to the top and you have to scroll all the way down again to search for where you left off. This is very annoying.

App stop working for me, whenever i go on it since lately I got error message saying "something went wrong", I uninstalled it and reinstall and it the same thing.

The app was working great, news on Time the works, I had loved it, but lately its just.... Frustrating.... because the notifications comes in with the news and when you open it white screen. Please sort out...

App only works on wifi, does not load articles on a data plan, my work colleagues were discussing thia recently and all said the same, app on cell data plans even with LTE+ rarely work, only on wifi. Can you look into this issue, I have it on both phones and none work without wifi.

Was working great until app isn't opening anymore. Only on a white page. This is fustrating.

Great news app with local language! That's all I use to stay connected in Haiti. I am just surprised that there isn't a section for published jobs. That would have been a great plus since people in Haiti are already used to job offers being published in the newspaper.

Whenever I open news report and have read some of its content, the app gliches and return to the beginning of the report. This is quite annoying. I am sure if others are experiencing this problem, they would share the same sentiments. Please update ASAP.

"Please upgrade the app to view the content" is the phrase that greets me when l open some news items. There is no upgrade in the app store. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app does not make a difference

The app is great for news but you are unable to read uninterrupted. I suspect the advert at the bottom is causing a refresh. Uninstalling until fixed

Update on news very informative. Just love it

It covers a wide range of well written current affairs. A great news source. However, it has this annoying habit of jumping back to the top while I'm in the middle of reading a story and by the time I scroll back to where I was, it does it again. That's truly a nuisance.

App crashing constantly after last update

I am finally happy that Loop upgraded their app and their UI/UX interface and user experience. Also, login capabilities are extremely great. Congrats Loop.

I can usually see data when using the app but for the last 2 weeks i have not been able to see any data. The app is telling me to refresh for data but there is no data. I am from barbados

Reinstall to check if anything changes. Load time and speed between articles have improved greatly. Still room for improvement but marginally acceptable. The comments section does not work period. Needs to implement a better way for the public to react/comment on the post.

I HATE while I'm reading the news, my reading is disturbed with an ad! It's annoying, irritating, and the perfect definition of what I'd call an extreme FAILURE!

I like the app but the Ui has to be updated and more user friendly,it needs an overhaul and also an option to enable dark mode would be nice.
