Very good tips. An interactive daily way to keep you accountable and sober. Help when you are struggling and a hand up when you fall. I'd highly recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction of any kind. It's got a lot of good solid advice and caring people!
I found a welcoming community my first day. I noticed a large support group for those that were unsure or hesitant as well as a non invasive, knowledgeable community with plenty of options on things to look into as well as obtaining a support group that's willing to lend an ear a hand or whatever you may need.
Really helps me out tremendously every single day. I love the tips for staying sober and to be able to be open and honest with the rest of my peers. It has been so good for my soul.
I am very impressed with this app. It is the first recovery app I've used and it'll be hard to top it if I try out another one. I love the tip of the day. They are very relevant if you work a 12 step program. My absolute favorite feature is in the Boozeless Concierge, the online events. There are so many to choose from for all different subjects to help maintain or really get yourself started with your recovery. The events vary from meditations, mindfulness, yoga, therapeutic groups, etc
Really glitchy and I was getting notifications at all hours even though I turned them off. The messaging feature went down for days and they didnt send an email or anything to notify users. When it was turned back on I got notifications every few minutes for hours. Again, my notifications were turned off so it was stressful to not have control over what the app was doing on my phone. They need to fix major issues with the app for it to be worthwhile to download.
This is far more than the sober dating app I thought it was. I'm sober, always have been, so I'm not in recovery. This app is probably really great for those who are who might benefit from all the additional content. I was only interested in the dating feature. My problem was that I kept getting the push notifications despite turning them off. They came at least once a day, always two at a time, the same exact one. Totally annoying. I had to delete my profile and the app.
3 stars because I love the concept, but for the moment the layout is not very user friendly, photos in the dating section are hard to see due to the way the page is setup, and the loading times are crazy slow. That being said, something like this definitely needs to exist for the sober community. Keep working at it guys. Make it better and I might be back.
This app is a great source of support that enables you to find others going through the same daily struggle as yourself to stay clean and sober. I highly recommend checking it out.
Love the app, being early in recovery it is nice to be connecting with others who are clean. Can't figure out why it won't upload my photo though
I use this app and suggest it to my clients as a till for their recovery, community support is extremely important
Love the concept! First of its kind! I think the option to find recovering addict singles is a bit odd. Seeing as though 13th Stepping usually leads to a bad position in an addicts life. Especially for the newcomers. But besides that it is wonderful to have an app where I can be open about my life and talk about my daily struggles during recovery. Beautiful concept. Please keep updating and making this app great! I see wonderful potential in this! My boyfriend and I will be using this!
Really wanted to like this app but instead of there being an option to just meet other sober friends locally there's a dating feature. The last thing I'm thinking about is dating in recovery. I want FRIENDS. I like that the app seems to have a community but it feels like the app is a little too cluttered for me to even enjoy using. If they took the stupid dating feature out I might use the app but honestly I'm disappointed.
What a cool app for people in recovery. You can share things you're struggling with, or meet other sober people. I love this app!
downloaded this app a second time now, same issues. bugs, glitches, app is slow to load images or doesn't load at all. the dating function is impossible to use as it malfunctions often. the concept is great, would be even better if the app worked fluidly.
Great concept but I'm having some problems. There's no way to change my age having signed up with SMS and it's also failing to upload any and all photos I've tried to upload. Population is absolutely tiny but I'm not surprised on that front right now due to its age.
Ive been battling addiction for many years, in and out of NA, treatment programs never seemed to work I'd always get clean during and a while after but 99% relapse rate post- treatment isn't just a statistic trust me. But this app, albeit having not spent more than a day or so using it, looks very very helpful. The hardest part of sobriety at times seems to be the inability to find like minded individuals etc. This app seems great thus far
This app provides a wonderful sober network 🤝 and community! Loosid was there for me in a time of need and I absolutely love it 💜!
I love the features of this app! it's been pretty good for opening up communication, looking for resources, and supporting each other. My only problem that's holding up a 5 star review is that the chat lags/doesn't consistently update the new msgs! I'll get a notification of a msg in a group, but then open up the app to check it out, and nothing new is there!!
Was really hoping this app would work correctly even after reading all the bad reviews, but no, this app is garbage. Theres no way to quick fill in your birth date, it is stuck on the year 2002 and the only way to find my birth date was to sit there for ten minutes manually scrolling back forty three years. And it still stuck on 2002. My picture wouldn't load even though the same pic loaded perfect on other sites. It chose to override my actual address I typed in by using my GPS for another town
I like the concept and layout but its pretty slow and glitching a lot on day 1 of using it. Not sure if its worth the frustration sadly. Edited to 2 stars. I have to hit a button over 5 times to make anything work. Too annoying to use.
Due to a timeout in about 10sec choosing a photo I was unable to use the app. I was not able to request a new code so have basically been locked out from the getgo. I can't even reinstall it on my phone now, it says my phone numbrr is invalid. Might be a great app, looks like I will never know, as long as i have this phone number. I could have used the support.
This app is great! I live in a rural are so getting to a meeting means a 30 min or better drive. This allows me to interact with others in recovery from home whenever. Having an outlet when your struggling that's this easily accessible is awesome.
Great app but the interface is clunky and hard to navigate. Get notifications saying X is trying to send you a message then when I tap it it shows no message. Also nothing loads and cant find app help. Have screenshots.
I set up the app and tried to create my dating profile. None of the data saved and I got an error message. Not a good first impression. I'll update this review when and if I can successfully use the app. *Edit* managed to create my profile. Virtually none of the users have entered "about me" info and it's a total snooze. Maybe I'll try just using it as a social network
I guess it's not their fault, but would like to see an app tailored more to people who choose not to drink. This app may help if you're struggling with alcohol. I was interested in meeting healthy people who actively choose and enjoy making healthy choices. That being said I'm happy to see those struggling finding a way to work through their struggles, just wish there was a social network geared towards normalizing sobriety.
Oh, I'm kidding and playing at crankiness. The problem ironed itself out after a few relaunches of the application. Didn't think the developer read the reviews.((Pictures don't load. That would have been fine when I was drinking heavily, but I have standards now. Fix this please.))
Terrible! One of the worst apps EVER created. It's a shame because the concept is great. But with ZERO help, and ZERO direction; the entire system needs a revamp. I offered to be an ambassador, and I would've dedicated my life to it. I am a licensed CASAC worker, and I was disgusted by what I witnessed. Don't waste your time!!! There are much better ways than this.
Worst app I've ever had. Numerous glitches, have to re-enter info multiple times, have to enter a verification code every time I sign in and won't let me delete my account. I've tried multiple times now. Delete my account immediately, please!
30 days sober I have found this to be a great place to encourage people and find encouragement.
It's different, that's for sure, but innovative and exactly what we need right now to help people of all ages, but especially the younger kids that may find help within this app. I recommend that everyone gets this app so everyone can be educated and communicate with people affected by alcoholism and addiction in the many ways it affects almost every single human being on this planet, one way or another! Great job LOOSID!!! 👍
