Very heavily based on Might & Magic, which is no bad thing. Graphics do the job but not much to get excited about. Gameplay seems straight forward but complex enough to add depth and strategy to battles. Unfortunately, battles all there is to the game. While there is the ability to upkeep your castle, buy and improve buildings similar to other games, the developers have chosen a simple menu system with no graphical depiction of your castle at all.
Ive played for a week or 2. This game is just an add machine. Your main way of earning coins is watching ads - you get many more this way vs. actually playing. You conquer territories and level them up (the effect of which is not explained) and almost daily, you lose territories with no ability to prevent it. This loss appears to be random, so no matter the level, it randomly disappears. The feel of this whole thing is "if you watch enough ads, you get to progress". Not worth the install.
Decent turn based RPG with overworld map. Not my preference for an RPG. I didn't play for more than a few hours. I would be willing to push through it if there were more Google Play achievements along the way. There are only 5 achievements and they require weeks to get just one. I would also watch lots of ads if the rewards meant exponential progression. Growth/leveling/resource gathering is slow going. Combat graphics are 3D, but the rest of the game is 2D menus which are much lower gfx.
So many times during the battle game totally freezes and you can't do nothing. When it comes to the map when you spend 3 energy to play battle after you restart the game it will not give you back your energy. So now here is the reason for one 🌟 and the question for the game makers. Did you ever tested this game before you put it to the Google Play Store? I have the feeling you never did. You only have 10 energy to spend, the time to restore 1 energy takes long and game freezes when you use it
Great game with good content interesting enough to make you play but with how slow you progress you wouldn't have enough time to reach them because you'll feel tired with how tedious you have to grind in order to improve your Buildings and Army. I'm still holding on to this game since it's offline and I need something to help me get away online but even the game can be a chore. But I'm not gonna be all negative and just say the Art Style, Designs and Models are great. Combat is alright.
I didn’t even expect this to happen, but I am pleased to change my rating to 5!Thank you! The developer heard us and removed the annoying ads from the battle screen! Great RPG. Nice strategy game i love it Interesting plot, nice graphics, easy enough even in f2p mode Reminds the old - good Disciples for PC. Fans of turn based strategies need no longer look for one for their phone. I do hope more options for heroes, and more importantly, races are coming, but even if not, it still is a solid gam
It looks very good, so from the start you can't help but like the game. Very quickly though, you learn that Gameplay is buggy as hell. Most things have to be tapped more than once to work. And after half an hour your forces begin to die, and only spending $$$ will bring them back. So in the end, it's just a good looking money grabbing machine.
Unlock all characters and finish map in a month. Except higher character levels the enemy has. Which takes grinding for months to upgrade their building 10 times. You earn like 10 silver an area you control and like 30 silver for finishing a battle area. Need 5k and 20k for 1st two levels. Or you need gold u never get or you just cant get those character upgrades for you. Its the only game that makes my phone hot if left on and doesnt show as a game in the menu my phone has to change settings.
Game is good. Concept is brilliant. Just one thing though. There are no equipment guides. I can get as many items as I can, but they're useless because non-human units can't equip them. It makes the game less interesting.
The game appears to be well thought out, I encountered no glitches, but I found battle to be dull and boring, and basically thats the game. Walk down the road to the next enemy and fight, rinse and repeat. I hung in there for maybe 2 hours, then uninstalled. Not a bad game, just not my cuppa.
I find this game remarkably fun. The variability of combat based on unit preference, equipment, and opponent make it both challenging and engaging. For an older game that seems to have been put on ice by it's developers, it's quite outstanding. And you can succeed without having to pay.
Great game, really enjoying it. Haven't tried arena yet, as I'm just giving it a free 2 play spin for now and going slow. Had one strange issue of gold disappearing, but otherwise smooth, nice graphics, easy enough to level up, even on f2p, and a relaxed fun game.
Quite a nice game, resembles best of Disciples series. However, the title should be "Strategy of Ads". One ad when you start a stage, one ad when you end it, and a few in the middle just to keep the pace. Also, it take just one... [To read the full version of review, please watch an ad.]
Want to say great game but in the arena people are to strong and ahead no way to enjoy that. The pay out for victory is low the ability to get good characters without having to spend money is a turn off no way of getting gold unless you download another game and get to a certin point. Got 2 characters whom i couldnt equip any gear to. Very very very slow build up unless you spend money so dont bank on the arena antime soon or ever. I will be uninstalling not worth playing if its so limited
It's a good game to be honest but the reason I'm giving this rating is because it's very very difficult to progress, reviving a unit can cost up to 1k silver while you earn a mere 20 or so for completing a level. Not mentioning some enemies will one shot your whole squad. Really shame for such unbalanced game.
Changed my review from 3 star to a 1.. Did the same thing when I first installed. Stuck at title screen where it says "Herocraft". Original problem was an influx of loading screens and black screens with little combat or combat intros or animations. I would not recommend this game offline or not. Unless you enjoy installing and Uninstalling for it to work properly. If it had a 0.5 star, that's what I would rate it.
This is a good game, i'm a fans of Disciples game on PC. But it's hard to gather coins, which is your building, upgrade, and recruit cost is too high. Go update for gather and cost balancing, and add a portrait graphic setting, so i can play this without flip my phone. 😊
Seems a good game but it constantly close on its own, it "crashes", poorly made i guess, but theres many things that could be the cause, couldnt really play, its a good notion for the idea itself. Has many things that would need to be refined to reach a 5 star. Good luck in the making Herocraft.
Game was good until it became irritating when 1) I loose the captured territories level even after I recapture them ( I had lev 5 territory which was captured by some thugs so when the option popped up to recapture it I did it and after winning it back It was a lev 1 territory) 2) after upgrading my hall at lev 3 and department of resources the icon for market disappeared from my screen 3) developers need to specify from where we can get different units like archers, prist and mages
I enjoy the game, and would love to give it a higher rating, but... It crashes quite a lot for me and the ads are a bit too much when you combine it with the incentive to spend money to develop and compete faster.
This could have been a really good game. But unfortunately have the developers choose to be greedy and put up a pay wall. You can only occupy 2 regions before the enemy is to op to beat. So, if you don't want to pay, you are limited to play those same two areas for weeks or even months before you can afford to buy anything.
Get rid of the leveling up system, or at least make it the least prominent feature in the game and actually inject a solid gameplay based on strategy and tactics. Only then you will have a true gem here. I attacked the first province and it was more like an execution rather than a battle, and it portrayed an idea of what the rest of the game would be like so I was done with it. Graphics are great, sounds is great, animation could use a more creative touch (personality) but it is competent.
