App has never been reliable and now will not work at all. I wish I had never purchased Lorex for this reason. In house viewing is good is the only reason I do not throw the whole damn system in the trash. But that point is getting close. Lorex sorry product needs to be plastered all over social media
I guess we're all having the same problem. The cameras won't work on mobile connection but as soon as it connects to WiFi cameras come online this is inexcusable lorex.
Remote connection stopped working on android. I have tried to scan the code on my box and it still doesnt work. Anyone else have this issue? It does work when im on my wifi in the house.
Called tech support. Overseas guy was hard to understand. He did get across, though, that this app has been replaced with Lorex Cloud. He said delete all Lorex apps, install Lorex Cloud in their place. (Haven't got it to work yet.)
I just got a Note 10+ and now my Lorex software is not working. I have tried all options given by the software for 2 days. This is rediculous.
Why have you disabled remote view of the cameras after all these years. That's why I purchased Lorex. I can't even view the cameras on the phone on my home wifi. Now the cameras are merely decorations. You should be ashamed.
The Lorex ECO Stratus app stopped working on mobile network on my android phone...Worked great for years and stopped working in Sept 2019. Works fine on my home wifi
**DO NOT PURCHASE LOREX/FLIR products** This company needs to be shut down and stop taking money from people. If your system has issues you are on your own. You will receive ZERO support from them. The mobile App is now useless and cannot view cameras on mobile network, Lorex/FLIR admitted they changed something on there end, clearly any older products are now become garbage. Ticket numbers given are false, they will close your Ticket regardless if resolved. Stay away!
I enjoyed my Lorex cameras and app for almost 5 years and now I can't see them remotely because Lorex has decided to not update this app to work with android's update.
Worked flawlessly for years but as of September 2019 I have nothing. Waiting for a fix!!!!
I believe lorex purposely update to stop older system from working. So need to spend money buying new. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THIEVES ALL OVER 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
works great on my Kyocera brigadier, never had any issues in 3 years. all Cameras always load and work.

UPDATE: They FINALLY pushed out the SwannView version for Lollipop. Everything is working as it should now. However, they are going to have to earn that 5th STAR back for what they put us through. Same as others have posted. This app stopped working after upgrading to Lollipop 5.1 on Droid Turbo 64. Hope fix will be out soon. Gonna contact Lorex Support directly.
App is worthless since the lollipop update for Android. Lorex has had plenty of time to resolve this issue, clearly a lack of concern for their customer's satisfaction. **UPDATE App finally working, no excuse for Lorex in taking 7 MONTHS to update this to the Android platfom as it's such an essential / basic feature, IMO. Has worked with the iPhone updated iOS the entire time.
Took them 8 months after Lollipop came out to push an update that fixed compatibility. Now broken again on 7.0 Nougat on my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Crashes every time upon starting. Lorex is the WORST when it comes to maintenance and quality of their apps. DO NOT BUY
(Previous review 1 star) Your site said in January that an update to support Lollipop was coming. It's May! We spent a lot of money on a system we can't use, now that our phones have upgraded. (Update) Congratulations! It's now October, and you finally pushed an update for Lollipop out! How exciting! Swann has had the update from their OEM for MONTHS, the same OEM you use, the same software with different branding. It's obvious you don't take support, or your customers seriously, and I will absolutely take this into account the next time I make a purchase! So Marshmallow is fixing to come out. Should we expect the same level of service?
Worked well before Lollipop but started crushing after. Running update didn't help. Opened ticket with Lorex asking for a miraculous APK file mentioned by others. Lorex support has provided the file but mentioned that Playstore version should work as well suggesting uninstall existing program first. I was skeptical but tried anyway. To my surprise, it worked. Connecting to NVR by device ID from Nexus 4.
Pretty useless on android 9.0. The cameras load off the screen so you can only kind of view one camera at a time, by dragging and holding the camera view. The moment you let go, the view jumps back to the top of the screen and you can only see a sliver of the camera.
