Los Angeles Metro and Bus

This used to be a good but the changes they made are absolutely frusrating and stupid. Insted of listing the stops according to the bus route, they switched to listing the stops in numerical order according to the bus stop number. Now it takes forever just to find the stop your looking. And once you find the stop, whichever direction you intend on going, once you click on it, it gives you the opposite direction. Now you have to start all over again. The whole process is aggrivating asf.

This app used to be reliable but now the streets are not even in order. They're all scattered when you try to choose the street that your stop is at. Also, when I choose a particular direction it ends only showing one direction and mainly the opposite direction in which I want to go in. Not only that but bus times will disappear and reappear only when its about make its stop which is super inconvenient.

Improvements still need to be made to the app. I'm sure as the new lines get built and the LA Olympics nears, fixes will happen. **Map needs to be better than just a png or whatever it is. **A news or updates section for us to check in on the progress being made to the new lines, including scheduled completion dates. **Would be nice to be able to reload Tap cards through the app. **If there are delays or station closures would be nice to have that as a banner or listed in a new tab for delays.

Chose my bus line click to next page chose my direction click to next page. That page was a list of what seemed over 100 stops all presented in completely random order, not arranged by alphabet or where they appear on the route. After finding a stop that was close enough I clicked through. All I got was download buttons for sponsored games and absolutely no info of any kind, tried it 8 times on 8 stops all the same result. They put a tiny effort into making the front page real and nothing else.

Was great for several years; all of a sudden, out of the blue, I'm getting all these huge ads. I never had ads on this app before and i use it multiple times each day. The app also says "in-app purches" starting at $.99 yet there is absolutely nothing to be found for purchase. Are you new owners to this app, cause this doesn't make any sense.

This app is has been less than reliable for @ least 5 years & somehow it has gotten worse. The buses aren't separated by direction anymore (when I click on bus #__ northbound, it displays the stops going southbound AND northbound and I've to decipher which starting point is the one I need to go in the direction I need), the times are inaccurate, you can't put in the number for a bus stop to get the specific arrival time, & the updates do not actually change anything accept the ads that pop up.

frustrated is the word I've been using this app for over a year. When I reinstalled it I found it unorganized. What was wrong with listing the stop in the order of the stops on the line? Did someone complain that the app was too easy to use and development had to make it more challenging to the user? Very dissatisfied.

This app used to be really good until the updates. The updates, have caused confusion. The times of the buses show the opposite direction. Ex: If you're going towards downtown and you check the time, it will show the opposite direction, instead of the direction towards downtown. Please fix this, I know I'm not the only one with these complaints.

It used to be good. I would have given it 5 stars in the past, but now the times scheduled are completely wrong and sometimes when there is a North and South route, it will only show one direction (i.e. North) no matter which route is selected. A total waste of memory space.

This app seems to not work anymore. Whenever I select a stop it doesn't show any busses, even though Google maps has correct and real time arrivals. There are ads every time to navigate to a new page, it seems. Ads are one thing but when the app doesn't even function 🤦‍♂️

All it needs to do is tell me when the bus is coming it doesn't. It used to work decently now it doesn't work at all. Even when it worked, it would never work when you clicked on the Metrorail stations on the map, you would have to go to a separate metro rail category in the menu and then look them up. And they never seemed to fix that, who knows if they were even aware of it.

When this app first came out it was awsome. I no longer had to wait a long time for a bus to arrive, or just miss one trying to get to a bus stop. I loved it so much, it really saved me from a lot of frustration. However, the app has become impossible to use. When I try ro find out when the next bus arrives it show me ads, and I can't get it to show the bus information. I'm completely frustrated by this. I'm a senior citizen who relies heavily on the buses to get around, it's no longer useful.

since April 23rd update. After choosing bus route e.g 181, the next screen shows 181 west to Hollywood/Vine and 181 East to Sierraadre Villa station but regardless which one to touch it only shows the east bound i.e the latter option. This is a huge bug that makes the app useless unless fixed. l tried two identical Motorola moto e4 android 7.1.1 and the problem persisted on both phones whereas it works fine on an older alcatel onetouch android phone.

I used to love this app, but the recent update messed up the app. the only page that's accurate is the nearby section because if i search by bus route the stops are in alphabetical or numeric order and no matter what direction I choose, I see the incorrect stop direction prediction. Fix this PLEASE.

Super unreliable. Only days after an update that fixed an issue that blocked information on schedules, the app is now failing to find any "nearby stops or stations". It was nice when it worked but I think it may be time to give up.

The feedback doesn't even work! It won't send!! The Go Metro Map does not enlarge anywhere near enough, making it very difficult to use for anyone with poor eyesight. It should expand as much as your phone allows (which is guite big).

Love it. Loading the times for the trains stopped working about 2 years ago but it's still fine combined with google maps. Wish there was an option to see the entire 24hr timetable for a stop, or the whole metro system map like they have posted at some of the train stations

great app. this is the ONLY public transit app you should need. times/schedules/routes : EVERYTHING!! DOESNT WORK RIGHT ANYMORE!! ITS A MESS!! IT WONT GIVE ANY CORRECT INFORMATION! used to be excellent. now its trash. too bad they wrecked it. only northbound routes are available and its never the right bus.

what did you guys do to the app. all the stops are out of order, and the destination directions are all messed up. so frustrating since the last update, very disappointing. would have given zero stars if it was an option!! Hope you guys fix it SOON

New to LA from NYC. Just installed it trying to figure out a route to a friend's house. Hands down an absolute utter waste of time. Google Maps gave me a WAY better breakdown of train timetables so I could figure out how late I could leave. It's ridiculous how infuriating this is.

Trip planner is worthless. I tried using the trip planner on the app and it keeps coming up that there are no routes available and to adjust my search. I know this isn't true since I did a search online. You can only do that so many times before you realize it is completely not helpful.

Can't see bus times for almost every stop I need. Functions don't work. The order of the stops is confusing as well. This app used to work perfectly. Please restore it to how it was.

Really doesn't help me at all especially in the area I work. I need to know where the bus is at that moment so I know if it show up or not. On top of that, the bus (202 in Compton) comes when they feel like it. Most days I and other passengers that take the bus on a regular are left walking 20 minutes to the train station because the driver(s) doesn't show up on time if they show up at all. With that said, it's not right especially with rider's that have physical problems like myself.

This app has helped me get around my city and catch buses on time. I would give it five stars but it glitches out sometimes and only gives me southbound times never northbound. Also occasionally the timing is off by a few minutes

Trip planner claims there are no possible routes to a destination when I know there are. I looked it up on the metro website. This feature is entirely unreliable.

Older version easier to navigate. I don't know why you ask the direction when the next list shows stops in both directions. You should have kept the stop list in the order.

app doesn't give west bound or south bound bus times anymore. can't connect with their support server for help. the stop aren't in order of direction of routes. it has changed for the worst. favorite stops are dependable only.
