This app is brilliant! I absolutely love it. I've used several different calorie tacking apps and this is by far the best. So far everything I have scanned has been recognised and the calories have been correct according to the packets listing. This is not always the case with other apps. I love the little pictures that appear next to the food too. Plus you are able to see at a glance exactly what you have logged without having to navigate too far. No glitches either. Highly recommend, thank you
Not a bad app, like other calorie countets I've used (my fitness pal and nutracheck (I'm in the UK)) you need to pay for premium services to get the best out of it. I was surprised about the amount if UK foods included I initially thought I'd need to add loads in as it's mainly aimed towards those in the US. My only niggle is that when you scan something, it doesn't always let you change from 'serving' to be able to input an actual weight, so you have to go back and search for it manually.
Terrible layout, I actually paid for the yearly plan and started to add recipes. The layout of this app is horrible and all jumbled together it's very difficult to differentiate between different pages and even to try and specifically adjust your macros. I has really hoping for a better alternative to MyFitnessPal but looks like I'm going back. What a shame.
It works is the best I can say. The interface keeps changing every day, fields disappear and new ones appear elsewhere trying to get you to upgrade. I will hit a field thinking it was the same one as yesterday only to get the big old upgrade here screen. Seriously they either didn't hire a UX designer or found the first one that would accept pay in hot pockets and a subscription to Spotify.
While imperfect I've found this app (which has helped me lose like 20pounds so far), be very useful, though the UI is a bit clunky and dated in appearance. (Previous app performance issue was resolved) Edit: they doubled their pricing for the premium plan, I'm cancelling it. I can excuse $20/year but $40/year is quite the leap for an app that feels like a puzzle to use.
Been using it a little while now and getting used to the interface making entries correctly. I like some of the features that are different than MFP and it does exactly what I want it to do. I wish Fitbit integration was free but I l would get premium anyway just to pay for apps I like and support developers. I also wear SS watch 4 and don't know if support for that is possible or not but it would be pretty close to perfect if it did
I love this app! It's easy to use, has verified entries and gives tips along the way. My favorite feature is the weekly budget of calories. Weekends are always my pitfall when I'm trying to lose weight. Now I can easily see how many "play" calories I have on the weekend.
Really great app thats the best calorie tracker I've ever used - the best features are that it sets realistic goals for you and slowly decreases your calorific intake each week or so- this makes it much less overwhelming. It also gives you fun comparisons with how much weight you've lost and gives you a time frame of when you'll achieve your goal- its worked really well for me and if you pay the yearly fee you can input your meals in advance which helps with planning- just works really well!
I really really enjoy this app. I love how it has Mac n Calories. plus there's a whole entire community to help support and motivate one another !!!! I've met some incredible ladies on here. I love that it has charts so I can compare my progress, very helpful! The only glitch or downfall I've come across is when I try to take a picture my app closes out. kinda irritating at first, but I love everything else that I'm not worried about it.
App doesn't have full functionality and there are some settings you can only change from the desktop site. Also, you can't delete old weights, only edit them. Users should be able to restart their weigh-in record whenever they reset their goal and the start date.
Very convenient. I've only used the free version but am considering paying the small cost for more. It's really helpful. I love being able to just scan a barcode if I need to punch in a new food item I haven't had before.
I love that it has a Fasting tracker built-in so that I don't have to use multiple apps. They are addressing a bug with it and I look forward to the update. Otherwise this is the best, comprehensive food/fitness app I've used, to-date.
It was a great experience until Friday evening and my steps stopped syncing with my Fitbit watch ⌚️. I sm very upset especially since I keep referring people to the app. I have done everything that was suggested and it's still not syncing 🤨 very frustrated 😤
I don't usually rate, but this app is great. super easy to use, barcode scanning has found everything so far. if I could get it to synch to samsung health itv would put it off the charts.
Within the first day of installing this app, I was impressed by the level of detail in the starting questions to build my profile, and was happily surprised to see how easy it was to find items! I would even say that it is more thorough than Weight Watchers! I am on a Profile by Sanford and these food items came up quickly with my searches! Very happy I found this app!
This really helped me lose 2.2kg in a month in a healthy and easy way. One thing I would say is that, although it does connect to Google Health, it doesn't connect to Huawei Health, which I use but that's just me nit-picking.
Wrong amounts and just not not very accurate. Looking up Dominos medium pepperoni pizza will bring up the same pizza with half a million different counts. And almost NONE of them are correct. Three slices for 300 calories?! Are you effing serious?! The amount of math you have to do, you may as well just count it on your phone and not bother with this app. For example, if the calories in a Doritos serving size is 58 grams, and that is about 12 chips, JUST SAY 12 CHIPS!
I'd always strayed away from this app before because I personally wanted to focus more on nutrition value rather than calories, but the alternatives always charged a premium for, well, their premium services. Lose It! is not only more affordable, but it's also better in my opinion. It supports all my other fitness apps to sync my weight and workouts, and it's a lot easier to use with a setup process that's well thought-out and delightfully supportive in anyone's health goals.
