Lost Android

Running Android 12, S10e. It says no Google account found on phone when attempting to register. Also doesn't request permissions, need to manually add them all in settings. The app design is 5 years out dated as well.

This software has become useless. Nothing works anymore. You constantly get "A problem has occured sending a message to Google: ERROR posting message to Google" or "Google has removed their old GCM push servers so apps on this phone can no longer receive messages. Upgrade your app". I'm using the latest version. Well, I'm done with this app. The creator must have given up on it a long time ago, as nothing works, or can be made to work. I'll look for another.

App has problems. I cannot get into the app due to it saying I haven't accepted all permissions. I went into my phones app settings, and ALL permissions were accepted. Went back into the app, and still said all permissions weren't accepted. I really need to find a good app to help me find my stolen tablet!! Please fix this issue. I would really like to try this app!!

This is the only app you need to keep your phone safe. I have been a loyal AndroidLost user for years and it is incomparable in its ability to prevent my phone from being lost or stolen. I wish that Google would stop messing with the code that makes some features unusable. Thank you Theis Borg, I am so grateful for this app and you are awesome!

Love this app. Used it for years, pretty much every other locator app uses an internet connection (data or WiFi) but this one doesn't. You can kick off it's GPS etc with an SMS. So annoyed that it isn't working on Android Pie. I hope there is an update for it soon.

be sure to exclude the app from the battery optimisation list! this solved any kinks in my experience. unfortunately sms commands isn't working on my oreo 3.7 app. and whenever i send texts to the phone, sms handler crashes. essentially does everything cereberus does minus the pretty ui but it's free. there's only one person behind the app so if you can, support the dev!

Must have for every android phone. Every issue I've had over the past 10 years was easily fixed by reading their FAQ. Imagine that, I had a problem and investigated why I was having that problem, and then fixed the problem. Maybe wyning about being lazy would have fixed my issue as well?... With every new phone I buy this is the 1st app I install. And then test every feature to insure its working properly.

1) smshandler app doesn't work for sms. getting call list works. 2) sometimes it won't connect and needs re-registering. this is a problem if the phone is with the thief 3) camera produces loud click sound and silencing the sound only silences the media sound. but the camera uses the ring sound. 4) Won't take picture when screen is off. when screen is on, the pics get taken all at once. Thing is last time i lost my phone, i can't know exactly where it is located, cuz camera doesn't work

Been using the app for two years and it works great. Android recently started flagging it as a dangerous app, but that cannot be true, because there haven't been any updates to this app in months, so it can only be a false alarm. I'll keep using it.

One of my very favorite apps, ever. Thank you, Dev! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've used this app for years, on & off - I love it. Please understand that VERY few apps have I used the L word with, lol. Very soon I will subscribe to the premium service, & will do so after I don't really need it, this app has ben thee for me in several situations, I've found the Devolper attentive, responsible & intelligent. The biggest roadblocks are most likely Google & their ever-changing rules, necessary, of course, buta pain2.

Lost Phone Failure - This app worked perfectly for years, every time I tested it. But then I actually lost a phone and I got a load of messages that either I couldn't do anything about pr which made no sense. Thanks.

Google. Stop limiting this developers magic. It's the best app by far there has ever been for finding a lost phone and remote commands as well as many ways to help a user recover data from their phones. This app used to be able to display last sent received texts until Google enforced policies to stop that in the app and every update this developer makes to comply with these policies... He has to recode or make another app separate to handle these events. I think it's an amazing app hope continu

I 💙 THIS APP!!! My whole family has used this app for several years now, and I cannot tell you how many times it's found our phones for us! Thankfully we've never had to use the wipe option because it's always brought us to our phones within a matter of minutes...but it's good to know it's there, just in case!

Great program. I've been using it for years. Google needs to quit making it hard for the developer by making him eliminate some of the programs core functionality and let the app work as it is intended.
