Lost Lands: the Golden Curse is an adventurous hidden object game-quest with puzzles and mini-games scattered through the boundless spaces of the fantasy world – from the volcano valleys to the Druid forest, from the deep caves to the floating islands.
One fine day an ordinary good-looking housewife, Susan, while visiting the museum of arts drops by an old looking glass which, for whatever reason, starts to beckon her up. When she touched the looking-glass, Susan was immediately transported into a magical fantasy world of the Lost Lands. She has been known for her heroic deeds as Susan the Warrior there.Susan meets a child named Fiora, and the girl takes Susan to her great-grandfather, Maaron. Susan recognizes the Druid as an old acquaintance. Maaron explains that the village was attacked by a Harpy, the legendary winged beast. The strangest thing is that the demon has been a stone statue in the abandoned old fort for thousands of years.Along with her friends Susan is ready to set forth into a volcano, go to a dungeon and climb floating islands to find out the reason why the Harpy, Naga, the Minotaur and Solidus, one after another, began coming to life from the stone prison and causing chaos in the Lost Lands. Naturally, the creatures must be stopped...

The game is massive with so many puzzles and areas to go to. My only problem was with the free version. It was impossible to get hints. They only give you 4 to start with which went quickly with so many areas to check. The map only shows where you are. I finally had to shut down the game in hopes of being able to purchase hints as I was totally stumped on where to next. When I brought it back up it had started all over after days of playing it. This time is the one I have to pay for which fine
Really enjoyed LL 1 and 2, but SKIP LL 3. It feels like a chore, and your character feels WEAK. It starts different, yet very slow paced. The other 2 fully engaging and mysterious, whereas this had too ridiculous of puzzle scenarios where solutions should work but won't. This has the least action so far! You feel like a side character who's an artist or painter and not like someone with intriguing intelligence or tough enough! Long, yet MISERABLE boring exploration and "TOO much backtracking!!"
Usually I hate hop adventures but I got hooked on Lost land for some reason I just couldn't stop doing them I started backwards so this is the last one that I have of the series anyway it could have been a five star but there's some little glitches that keep you from being able to get some achievements because no matter what you do it don't work and I just think it takes a lot of the challenge out when you have to put the answer in front of you to be able to do the puzzles still a great series
Replaying!! Still intriguing puzzles. I bought this Lost Lands III 3 years past; it is still challenging. Of course the graphics are unique to the storyline;I love the faces so dynamic. The storyline is about life the constant struggle between soul and evil.
(Original post) Don't get this game unless you're ready to pay for it. It says it's free to play but once you get about half way in the game you have to pay real money to play. No thank you, not worth it. (Updated post) I do apologize. I didnt realize that the game had 2 versions. I downloaded the full free game. Full of adventures and challenging. I've played 1 and 2. Cant wait to finish to get #4
All the Lost Lands games are better played on something larger than a smart phone. Items get VERY small and hard to find. Even so, I have played the first three games on my 5.5 inch screen and had a lot of fun. I just keep a YouTube walk-through on hand to mop up when I have found what I can.
I installed this one because Im stuck on the other one. This one is just as buggy. Im on the hour glass puzzle and the things move when they want to or not at all. The 2stars are for the graphics, they are awesome. Delete.
These series of games has me hooked but this one is the hardest so far. It doesn't have enough clues to even work out some things. The other two were nicely doable. I've had to skip some puzzles this time around.
This game was amazingly fun!!! First time I didn't mind buying coins for hints, which were reasonable depending on how many hints or skips you need From the graphics and storyline, to the mini games... good job.
This is the first Lost Lands game where I purchased the full game. It has proven to be totally worth it! I love the story lines, puzzles, graphics, all of it!!
This is a pay to play game. After a few minutes you need to pay to 'unlock' the game. I didn't mind spending money on bonus chapters or hints before, but 7euro off the bat for the game?? Nope. Pity because it was really fun so far.
This is the 3rd one in the series I have tried I wanted to try a game that wasn't connect 3 4 or more or crush in the title which to me are soul destroying,so I tried lost lands and loved it so much so I am now on number 3 roll on the rest of them,so if you want a challenge like me try these games they will surprise you like me joe.m
i was enjoying playing this game that was packed with lots to do..but then too carry on playing wanted £5.99 im sorry but this is too much even at £4.99 .it soon mounts up when you got other similar games i liked to play to the end but if they are all this price then out my price range...shame
Such BS. It was going amazing till i got to the coin part of the game then it asked to pay. Are u really serious?!!??? Like why!? You guys had free to play versions for 1st two parts of this game then why pay to play for this part? So much disappointed.. Uninstalling it.
I loved the lost lands 1 & 2 games gave them 5 stars because I loved the stories & they were full games free but im only giving 2 stars to this game because its only a qaurter of the game & you have to pay for the rest where as on the first to lost lands games u only had to pay for the bonus levels
Love the game! Just wish i could replay conversations or at least slow them down. I miss a lot because I don't read that fast. Otherwise, lots of fun!!
Can only get so far before you have to "unlock" the rest with a payment. A little disappointing as the actual gameplay is better than most.
As usual very enjoyable game from these guys, i always like it that i can play a portion of the game, before buying it, bit more expensive but its a very long game plus the bonus one. Great fun
Even the developer's answer is misleading. NOT the main game but the first chapter. Just a very few hours of play. That's NOT what is called a play for free, more like a bait

love your games but I can't afford 7 bucks a game to continue on...if it were half that price, then I would definitely do it.
Good game but many of the puzzle items are way too spread out across the map.

i love all lost lands games.great story line and graphics but just installed lost lands 3 and the game is unable to launch itself.its just not opening up

Not really a free game, but more like a demo. Version one and two were great and completely free with the option to watch ads for hints. Version three changes to buying the game to continue at a critical stage in the story. I liked paying by watching ads. Very disappointing. If it is a demo version, try doing the right thing by stating so in the title.
