Just download, signup, and buy tickets to use directly on your Android device, right in the app, with a registered debit or credit card. A minimum of spend of £10 applies to ticket purchases, however you can mix and match any combination of tickets to reach this.

Easy to use when it works, and lost two tickets back in November due to the app freezing and playing up a lot. Forgot about them until now due to personal issues when I tried to open the app again, which wouldn't...
Since the start of the year the app doesn't launch half of the time. Not fully compatible with android 12 (developer says it's still being worked on). Due to this I have missed a few buses as I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app to gain access to the tickets I'd bought
App is crashing and requires to be reinstalled regulary! Yesterday bought tickets for my todays trip to airport. Today, when I was getting on the bus and had to show the ticket, the app just wasn't working and kept on crashing! 👎 There is no point of this app, it's super unreliable, so just don't bother yourself installing it! ❌️📵 PS. You can always pay for your ticket in the bus, it's the same price. Also, everyone with this issue should get a refund for the tickets bought in this app! 🤬
This app was working fine. I bought tickets earlier this afternoon, with no problem. Then couldn't use them because the app wouldn't open. My phone tells me the app keeps crashing as it has a bug. I've tried restarting my phone and checking for updates on Google Play, but that doesn't help.
Totally unreliable, constantly crashes or fails to open. Had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times.
Still broken after 3 YEARS now!!! Doesn't even open anymore after the update in 2019, can't reinstall because I lose tickets even with a login.
Often simply doesn't work, doesn't open, has to be deleted and downloaded again.. And this usually happens in a bus or tram queue.. Another Scoattish success
Not experiencing any of the issues mentioned in the comments. App works aseamlessly for me and never had any problems.
This app/serice is a joke. How hard can it be to clearly display timetables, zones and fares on a map in the app so you know what you are looking at and could just select the one you want? I wanted a single ticket which costs £3.80, at this point the mticket checkout rejects the transaction because it's under an arbitrary £4 limit! Then you get past this farce and you can only activate the ticket within 5 minutes of the bus arriving. This is the worst
App often fails to open, have to try repeatedly. Last time I had to ask bus driver to let me on while I deleted then re-loaded app.
everytime when I need to use my tickets, I should delete and install again the app. otherwise it is not opening.
Recent update means app will not load (immediately crashes). Bought tickets in good faith yesterday, app updates overnight and now cannot actually use them today. Missed a tram and £9 down as a result. Totally unacceptable.
Terrible App. You charge enough for the bus service at least spend some of the profit on a decent App.
This app is a good idea which has been terribly executed. Its slow, unreliable, crashes frequently, and best (worst) of all takes an absolute age to load. Sometimes it takes minutes to open the app and get to the point where you can use a ticket and other times it won't load at all. Funnily enough bus drivers don't like hanging around waiting for an app that may or may not work so be prepared to be met with a lot of eye rolling and sighing.
Tickets on your phone. In theory it works. In my experience, the app works well if you can get it to run and stay running. I dont know if its my mobile or not which is the problem but this seems to be the only app it has trouble with. Hope it improves. Update: I'd say the 4th February update has improved the app massively, in terms of minimum price purchasing and the UI, and some of the bug fixes. However, I still need to turn off all background apps and any of my ALARMS to start the app.
I recently switched from an iPhone to Android. On the iPhone I had absolutely no problems with this app, it was a bit slow to load at times but my phone was really old. It never crashed or failed to access tickets. On the android I can't even get the app to set up properly. I won't be downloading this again until the developers fix the app for Android. If it's fine on iPhone, why can't they fix it for us? Guess it's back to coins for me in the meantime!
The worst app on my device. Regularly get the 'cannot connect to server' message, even when at home connected to my Wi-Fi. Also why does it need so many permissions? I have had to allow them all in the hope it will help this app work. It doesn't. Reinstalled it, still doesn't work. Guess I'll need to go to a cash machine before getting the tram as the minimum card spend on the ticket machine is three pounds. It probably won't have change.
missed opportunity and missed buses. 80% of the time it's fine. Rest of the time it's slow, or hangs, animated text is static, worse still - crashes and rebooting phone is only solution. Many a bus missed. Edit: after using this for 6 months it's awful. Because of where i live and East Coast Buses ticketing system; it's the *only* option for me. Actually considering changing jobs because it's so bad. Absolutely life-changing in the worst way. Whoever designed this is incompetent.
Great idea when it works! App constantly crashes or keeps asking you to rate it. This always happens, just as you're boarding the bus, leading to some very unhappy drivers. It's not the first time they've tried to make me pay a fare. Get this sorted and the rating will go up! Still have 4 tickets on the app but showed there were none! Very grumpy driver!
Good app idea, badly executed. I installed this app for a one week vacation in Edinburgh. The app's idea is great: show ticket screen to driver and get on the bus even faster than with contactless. Unfortunately, the app's execution is so bad that I cannot recommend it. It's not possible to register with your Google account. The first confirmation e-mail never came, had to request it again. But the most annoying thing is that the app constantly crashes. This even happened once right as I was getting on the bus. Kudos to the driver who let me on anyway, but then I spent several frantic minutes force-quitting and restarting the app. There are several types of crashes. Sometimes, the screen just goes black (requires restart). Sometimes, the initial splash screen acquires a strange artefact in the upper left corner and does not go away (requires force-quitting). Sometimes, the app complains about a missing internet connection even though a connection is present (anyway, the app should be able to deal with being offline). As a customer, I expect stress-free ticket handling. Please fix it.
Possibly the most frustrating and ill tested transport app I think Ive ever installed. I've only tried to use today for the first time after loading tickets and its awful. It just crashes repeatedly and refuses to open. Really unhelpful when trying to board a bus. There is no option to prepare a ticket more than 5 mins ahead so out of 3 journeys today I had to pay cash for 2 of them as this 'convenient' app just refuses to start. Utterly unreliable and as a result, useless!
Apps have to be consistent to be useful. When it works it's fine, it's a great idea, however it crashes far too regularly, it is often unbelievably slow to load and when I've shared an unused day ticket with a friend the link says it's invalid (not always though). All of this makes the app very irritating
I have never rated an app before but feel compelled to do so after this experience. Drivers have no understanding of how the app works, showed the app and essentially had to wait till the driver got frustrated enough to just wave us by. The app has poor user interface for dates and ages. The app forces you to turn off airplane mode even though you're using wifi. Major issue for us was sharing a ticket. It shared fine but was immediately expired. Issue was because of not synchronized time zone.
Keeps crashing! Can't open an active ticket! Stood waiting to get on the bus with my 1 year old and got told I would have to pay to get on which I clearly have on the app! Useless! And can't share tickets to another device.. Normally it's faster to use the app to get straight on the bus but it's pointless when the app doesn't respond!
