Loud Alarm Clock

Advertising stops the alarms. It's loud and vibrates, but it requires you to go through at least 60 seconds of advertising when you are extremely sleepy and if you don't go through the advertising then either the next alarm won't go off, or if you luck out and the next alarm goes off,. Then you have to deal with several minutes of advertising to silence yhe the alarm. I will be trying others out. They should do the advertising only when you are setting up the alarms initially.

First alarm I've found that will actually wake me up... when I set it! EDIT 2022.05.05 This continues to be my go-to alarm any time it's critical that I'm up on-time. The only issue I'm discovering is that even a very loud sound can become familiar to the brain over time, so I've found it beneficial to switch the actual sound / alarm tone to a different one often.

PROS: ITs loud.. Its great WHEN it works. CONS: Very unreliable. Randomly doesn't work, especially after reboot. That happens even when the Lock This App Open is set. It show open and locked on reboot but doesn't sound. Even after opening app, alarms often don't work. DND is not on, no optimizing s/w and not AutoStart Manager. Just not reliable!!!

They have quite a range of sounds, some energetic and majestic, others are soothing music. You can have multiple alarms and specify days of the week. You can even set the overall volumes for the alarm. I really love using this app for am alarm clock.

Works well 95% of the time in which it does exactly what you want. But sometimes, randomly, the alarms just don't go off. Cannot rely on it for this reason and have to find a different app now unfortunately.

The loudest alarm clock that never rings. Perfect for those who doesn't want to wake up on time, but wants to sleep peacefully that a 'loud alarm clock' will wake them up at the right time. I am not one of them, hence, uninstalling and leaving behind one star.

It is very loud and have different tones. It's tones are so annoying that I awake before time and close the alarm. I'm giving four stars because some times it don't ring.

Regular alarm clock sounds pale in comparison to this alarm clock app! I've lost countless jobs because of weak alarm clock "jingles", but I've never even missed an appointment or been late for work with Loud Alarm Clock! Five out of five stars! ☆☆☆☆☆

This alarm clock is so loud there is no way you can sleep through it! I love all the different sounds you can pick from. Works great also!

When you see people that say it didn't go off it's probably because you have to go to settings and turn on a setting setting. So if you are a heavy sleeper like me or want to wake up use this. It's not lying it's VERY LOUD.

The app is great it works, it's loud, and it's easy to use. With this loud alarm I can wake up on school days I can't wake up until 12, but this alarm clock helps.

Exceptionally loud. Definitely did the job! Only one I could find that was loud enough or had the right features.

This app used to be great and I gave 5 stars. All of a sudden it has stopped working at the alarm times and every time I open the app an unset alarm goes off.

Not happy with this app at all for some reason I have to open the app in order to get the alarm to go off the alarm does not go off until after I open the lap app so what good is that to me because my alarm doesn't go off when I need it too so I don't rate this very high at all I would not recommend it to anyone

UPDATE: They have started using the pop up ads that make noise, take up the whole screen and there is no way to exit until the ad runs its course. Uninstalling. This alarm has been great! Does everything it promises. The only thing I would change is the way the days are selected. It would be great if you set an alarm and it would just go at that next time or you could choose a repeating alarm, and have an option for unlimited snoozes.

The default clock/alarm that came pre-installed on my device wasn't working for me. The alarm sounds just weren't enough to wake me up and I was sleeping right through them - not an issue with this app. The sounds on here are horrific. They're unpleasant, jarring, and obnoxious. I hate all of them. It's perfect. Option to randomize alarm sounds is smart. UX isn't perfect but it's simple and easy to use. Initial assessment is 5 stars. I'll update if I run into any issues.

This app uses clever features that are very useful, and like no other app. It has options to have a different alarm sound at random so you don't get comfortable with sound, and not wake up. You can also test the app before setting anything up. It is very loud, to insure you wake up. If this app doesn't meet your expectations, then the problem is 100% because of your type of device. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this alarm app.

Edit: the alarm doesn't go off in the morning. I'll set it at night and the clock symbol would be on, but then by morning the alarm doesnt go off and the clock symbol disappears but the alarms are still flipped on. Thank god my body is in a routine, otherwise I wouldnt have got up on time. I think it is a pretty good app. The sounds are actually pretty loud and gets me up in the morning, after my default alarm clock wouldn't.

It's clear that this app has loud alarms, which seems nice, if it had gone off. Even after making sure it was not optimized in any way, none of the alarms went off. I was literally on my phone waiting to dismiss the third alarm after the first two didn't go off. Thank God I set regular alarms. I don't see the point in downloading this if it's so complicated to get it to work, even after I made sure the app wasn't optimized.

I'm in love... you can set the ringtone random, so you can't get used to the sound, and set multiple alarms plus if your phone volume is not loud enough you can aux cord it to speakers/stereo! if i encounter a problem ill re-rate but as of now the only annoyance has been coming up empty handed when it suggests I allow it to run while my screen is locked in settings... there was no such setting in my phone but I did a test run, one minute wait phone locked and I was able to turn it off or snooze!

I've been using this app for about two years to wake me up in the morning for work, as well as setting a spare alarm to remind me to do something before or after I get done with whatever I'm doing. Recently the alarm to wake me up in the morning has quit sounding off. I've tried resetting it, un-installing and re-downloading the app. Nothing has worked. The 1st one quit but any other alarm still goes off. And it keeps changing the sound I picked. . I'm downloading another alarm. Done being late

At 66, I've started sleeping through morning alarms at least once a month--a new and unwelcome phenomenon. I wanted a loud alarm as a back-up for my regular alarm. In the past week, I've tried a half dozen loud-alarm apps. l was really surprised at how hard it was to find one that was (1) easy to set and silence and (2) worked. This one does.

It's nice to finally have an app that actually wakes me up in the mornings. I have problems waking up, and it's even hard for someone else to wake me up while shaking me, but this app just has a wake up alarm so loud and so crazy that I can't possibly not wake up to it (Buzzer). Thanks!!! I do however suggest doing a bit more in order to improve the UI and notifications.

The new requirement regarding making sure "something" in settings is confusing. I couldn't find the area described on my phone or on the app itself that looks like anything in the shown example. I will make sure the alarm goes off BEFORE bedtime. Then I set the alarm for 7 AM. Sometimes it works, Sometimes it doesn't. I never had a problem before. I think I've been using it about 4 years without problems until lately.
