For early Ultima fans, this is like discovering an unknown album by a favorite artist. It works flawlessly on my phone. Was a decent length and good story line. Love that it can be played 100% offline with no ads. Already bought Lowlander 2.
Excellent story, gameplay and explorarion. Fun to pick up and play, or play for hours. Well done!
If you grew up playing ultima 1 - ultima 5 this game is for you. Kind of a cross between 2 and 5.
Hunger system and lack of direction ruined this fot me.
A phenomenal throwback to 80's RPG's. Took me all of 1 minute to get completely sucked in. Not overly difficult gameplay, but has a compelling story, fun and easy to use UI, and tons of great humor that had me laughing through the whole game. Two thumbs up for Bob Sabiston and this nostalgic Ultima/Wasteland-style adventure.
Love the game. I was always (still am) a big fan of the Ultima series. Ultima III was my first love. This game has the feel of those old games. I want to finish this game before I play Lowlander II.
Simple, fun, charming, and the world is surprisingly big.
Nostalgic and brings back old ultima days. I believe there is a bug in the tantrum cave. When the secret passage opens, I cannot walk through it. Please fix. I will rate it 5 stars when it's fixed . thanks!
A very fun game with a surprising amount of content. Developer(s) are friendly and helpful.
Fantastoc game, lots of content, the beauty is in its simplicity. Great job you guys.
What an awsome game, has the look, and feel of ultima, i have looked everywhere for ultima on android and i must say this game comes so very close to its bigger brother. The game tends to eat through battery power. Very good job, keep up the work, be nice to see you make more.
A solid trip down memory lane. Plays very similar to the early Ultima titles. Not like modern RPGs, it won't hold your hand or pull its punches. You can lose, you can get stuck, and a pen and paper will come in handy. A very difficult early game eases into a world-spaninng adventure that brought me back to my journeys in Britannia.
For anyone who grew up in the 80's this is a solid throwback to the old rpgs.
Good retro rpg. It does have a few bugs but overall great.
Awesome!!!! More please!!!!!
Thank you Flat Black Films for making this game. It brought me back to those long summer days as a child playing Ultima II on the Commodore 64. When you guys decide to make a Lowlander Underworld, let me know.
Hours of fun ahead!
I've been enjoying Lowlander, it's got a polished modern feeling interface for a game with such "retro" and I find my tolerance for throwback games is better on mobile than desktop. Easily worth the $1.99 with a simple plot that throws you right into the overworld exploring action. Plentiful enemies that you see approaching you on screen without random encounters, turn based roguelike design in combat. This is the retro CRPG we have been waiting for.
Fun game and super responsive Dev when I did run into a problem. Recommended if you're into the ultima nostalgia.
Excellent game. Tribute to Ultima 1 and 2. However, there is one major difference. The dungeons are in a "top-down" view, rather than a "first-person" view. Other than that, this game looks and plays exactly like Ultima.
