This app is a bit of a hassle. I liked the idea of having a something on my mobile device so I can practice kn the go, but as far as I can tell the desktop and the mobile do not correlate, which is frustrating. So, as of right now, I prefer the desktop version because that is where all my stats are stored.Hopefully, they can fix this problem though. I would love to be able to interchange from both platforms.
The lecture videos have an occasional music clip or something to pull your attention back and the actual founder + chief instructor will directly message with you as if they were your professors.
I'm really frustrated. None of the videos worked foe more than 2 minutes despite being in the free section. And when I tried to use the message board so that I could say as much I couldn't get it to work. It wouldn't allow me to type a message as the keyboard wouldn't come up. The drills also don't make sense if you don't watch the videos. I think it's a great idea and design, but really buggy for me. Which they would fox the bugs
Excellent experience! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because the app and the web program don't sync well. If I complete a lesson on the web it wont show in the app and vice versa. But the lessons and break down of the questions are great.
When I go to press play on the videos in the accompanying lesson (Lesson 2) the video doesn't play and sends me back to the previous page. After a few more times, I get a systems message that says to close the app because it keep crashing.
I literally hate this app it keeps trying to make me pay for stuff that I have alrrady paid for half of the time I had to study I was having app problems. The app does not work efficiently it only works on my laptop and it does not merge what you do on your computer to phone. Everytime i reach out to someone i either get no reply or it takes them days to fix the issue. I paid $5000 just to run into so many issues on the way. My tutor was helpful but other than that 1 star service.
I already have an expensive subscription , but the product does not work . I logged in with my face book . If I go online with my laptop there is no problem , if I try to sign in on my Samsung S8 , It crashes. I have reset my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app , cleared all cache and more . It still crashes . I feel the product is over priced because it cannot cross media platforms .
The course is very useful and now has a more accurate description of the amount of time and description of user access. When I initially purchased this course I was told I was given lifetime access to the entire course. When the course updated I discovered I no longer have access to daily drills and the analytics only shows the question type and percentage answered incorrectly. I lost access to answer explanations as well. I still have partial access to the course but not the access I paid for.
extremely unhelpful with errors.I have emailed several times the responses have been unhelpful, unprofessional at best and as short as they can be. My problem is still on hold and the app itself is really cool .
Only one lesson in will update with anything that needs updating. It seems to be incredibly through in explaining how to do the problems and breaking down the logic and the formula for completing the problems and I walk away atleast understanding what I did wrong and why I was wrong to correct for the future, whereas I used to have absolutely no idea why I was getting the question wrong. Now even if I get everything wrong I feel like I can come back next time and do better.
The app never consistently syncs up with the progress that is saved on my computer, and the practice questions that are provided every day aren't so much questions that would appear on the test, but are instead questions about the format of particular sections.
Very frustrated with LSAT Max and wish I went with 7sage. Pros: - Hours of lesson material, with clear explanations for each type of question you'll encounter Cons: - Broken practice tests where sections skip ahead, breaking the app's ability to score a section -Diagnostic tests which always give a score of 120 regardless of how I did - Ineffective customer service which forces me to figure out solutions on my own, meaning I often turn to 7sage anyway. Material is good but app is a dealbreaker
Forces you to make an account with full name and email.
It seems like a great app, but after I submitted one of the sections to see how I did it ended up showing that I had selected different answers than I had for several of the questions. I'm unclear why this happened. If it gets fixed my rating will be much higher.
I was skeptical at first. I enjoy the in classroom experience, but I have learned more with their app than I did in class. Here's hoping it takes me to law school.
LSATMax is very thorough in their lessons and office hours. I've also been being tutored by Sam Adondakis through LSATMax and he's been extremely helpful in picking out what areas I can improve on and give detailed explanations so I can learn even better.
I have seen significant gains so far. I feel that I will be ready to hit my score on test day. The office hours, drills, video explations are extremely helpful! would definitely recommend.
Very convenient and user friendly. An innovative way to comfortably learn at a customized pace. I love the way this app works so far.
Uninstalled the moment the app didn't use subtitles for videos with audio. It's called accessibility, ever heard of it?
LSAT max is a great way to dive in to the test. I even recommend it to people not planning on taking the LSAT because of how good it is as a tool for learning critical thinking and logic
The app crashes every time I try to access questions from the analytics menu. I expect so much more from the program I paid $1200 for.
not the best optimized video player, but overall an excellent companion app for taking the course on the go
Absolutely perfect for me
I already paid for my access to LSATMAX on my computer, and even though the app shows my exact progress on each lesson, it's saying I never paid for access? Why isn't this working?
It's my first exposure to the LSAT at all so what do I know? Yet the program seems well-structured, conscientious of the students, and comprehensive
As soon as I gave them my phone number for verification of my account, I began getting scam calls from telemarketing companies every 2 hours or less. I'm going to have to change my phone number. What a sell-out. Coincidence? I think not
You can make the first 5 minutes of the app better by: 1). Asking people of their desired score 2). Also, give the information out if there's a free one lession or not as part of their free experience. 3). Maybe how well the people did who did prepare at LSAT max
Bad app - logic test is contaning huge mistakes which they cant even see. I'm actual math teacher and winner of logic games but so bad presentation I never so. P.S. My 7year old nephew found those mistakes.
Overall brilliant app. Love the daily drills. Not only is the app awesome, as a package, they provide a very complete LSAT service. Video lessons abound - apart from the core course, there are already 150-plus hours of additional topic-based instructional videos. The written explanations dissect each question and provide cogent analysis, and the message boards are a great tool to deepen your knowledge of individual questions and concepts. After a month's use, I can't recommend it highly enough.
