I really don't understand where the negative comments are coming from. This app has really helped me out. It has so many features that I use. The dream journal is top notch and the reality check reminders have helped me reality check during my dreams. The night sounds work fine for me so I'm not sure why people are having problems. If you're hesitant to buy it, don't be. Lucid dream has so much to offer and it's definitely worth getting.
I've been using this app primarily for its reality-check reminders. Good work so far. Perhaps, just to add to the skepticism of "are you dreaming" and making the user question his/her surroundings a bit more, you could add a Yes and a No button to the notification on swipe down (jellybean style)? Thanks anyway :)
Sound has small gaps periodically that jolt you out of any relaxation. As a result unusable for me. Galaxy s3
This app is perfect as far as reality checks and dream journaling. The night mode sounds tend to crackle and pop randomly which can startle you.
Works great. The people that complain about the binural beats being low, they are low frequency and if you actually read the description it says it requires headphones to be effective. Please read and understand before you complain and turn others off to this app. Works great if you don't assume you know everything and read!
This app has so much promise, but just does not work on my phone . The day notifications are intermittent and it does not work at night at all. Something to do with the screen lock or when the screen goes off
I don't understand this app. It gives you reality checks during the day but at night it doesn't do anything, even after configuring it to do so. Safe to say this is pretty useless. I've been using it on a nexus 7.
This app continuously reminds you to check to see if you a dreaming. It's good because it's hard to remember to check. BTW I think you meant hold your nose and try to breathe not hold your breath and try to breathe.
The click and pop sound every minute or so is extremely annoying and jarring when falling asleep. Is this a loop of sound repeating? Not good enough for a paid app.
Needs default settings, so I can just tap *once* to start night mode. But this app hasn't been updated in 2.5 years so I'm looking for an app that has comparable night mode (trying Awoken now).
Still buggy and not the most intuitive. It's almost there just some minor tweaks needed. Need to fix the binaural beats as that was my main reason for the app and there is a weird skip that won't allow it to do what it's supposed.... two months later and still no fix. I paid for this app and developer has done nothing in months
Sounds are intermittent which would be fine if I was sure they were supposed to be or not but this app offers very little in the way of information. The night time one has to be reset daily.
This is the best lucid dreaming app I've ever used! It's simple to use and really effective.
The app dont work at all on galaxy s2
Clicks every minute or so and ruins the entire effect... don't buy until this gets fixed, useless.
The sound is too soft, when I use it without headphones. =/
I paid the $1.49 and really like the simplicity of the app (though the options are a bit more complicated than people might think). However, it does not work for me and I am not sure if I'm "doing it right." I'm not saying it doesn't work in the sense that it hasn't magically given me the ability to Lucid Dream. I don't expect that. I liked the idea of being reminded to do Reality Checks, so I set those up, and they don't happen. It only happens after I check off the Active checkbox and then I exit the app. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I will test out the night alarms to see if those work, but having to sit there and wait for 4 hours to "test" to see if it works is kind of annoying. Anyway, I like the app. Just have yet to see/hear it work after I set it up. Maybe I need some help. Maybe this app does...
Would like to see more options for binaural, and would love to see an alpha option too. Other than that the best so far.
It is just perfect! It would be really nice if you added flash dreamer function-then this app would be like best of the best ever in universe :)
I figured out how to get everything running and it works, however it seems the program must be open to work, and not just running (in the background). Ill keep experimenting to see if i can fix this... Maybe its just my phone? Otherwise I like the app a lot. Its very simple and straightforward while having a lot of functionality and customization available.
Good job on the UI man, couldnt have asked for better from a LD app. Easy to use and you got the day/night cycle down, it's a lifestyle. Couldn't have dreamed this up better myself...wait a minute..am i...oh. Lol thanks man
Thank you!
Cool application. I love the diary. Often i wake up in the middle of the night and take a quick note about my dreams. Also during the day It's far more comfortable to record your dreams than to carry your real dream diary. Anyway, it would be cool if you could choose from many sound notifications and also customize the text notification.
Highly recommended to anyone who is committed to achieving lucidity. Very helpful tools and excellent app support!
I love the app's intention, and the Day function works fine. The only problem is the Night function not working properly. I tried using it last night but it never went off and I even did a daytime test of the Night function but nothing happened. I'm using a Galaxy S II and I don't know if that has anything to do with the functionality.
