Lucidchart - Flowchart, Diagram & Visio Viewer

Whilst the online version works well, the app, however, does not. Lots of features are missing (no I don't want to fill out a feature request, all the online features should be in the app otherwise whats the point of an app). As the online version will detect the browser version and will stop you using the online version in preference to using the app, this makes it unusable. Also subscription rates only favour regular users, rather than occasional users.

The app sometimes doesn't load my documents, and when it does, I get this weird graphical glitch where the text appears redacted. Please fix

Great app,but issue is in selecting text is not works correctly. Pleaae make update in selecting and editing of text. Will give 5* rating.

Website works well on computer, but app is pretty bad. Terrible interface. Cannot edit text.

Too laggy . especially the website . sometimes the loop won't stop when increasing sizes or moving object . it's just unresponsive and buggy app

The free version is not only limited to the amount of documents but the amount of things you can have in that document, this isn't advertised and will prove to be a waste of time. Also the app experience with an s pen is terrible

Best app alternative to visio!!! I got this after my work asked me to do some flow charts and I had no visio account. I love it. Use it all the time. I also love the colors and the visuals. Thank you!

Smaller operations want to document network diagrams. This app won't let me edit my one diagram. Expensive entrance fee. I have just a two diagrams! Guess I'll load my old version of Visio on my PC. Free to view

This works amazingly well on the computer, but the app is virtually unusable on my tablet. The smart stylus only moves the page (doing so on the hover function aswell as touch), meaning I kept trying to select things only to find the page zooming away from me, so had to use it without the stylus. Sadly the advanced shape options/icon (for things like increase no. of swimlanes) also wouldn't appear anywhere, meaning I couldn't work properly. Real shame, as this is a brilliant bit of kit online.

Doesn't work on tablets, I tried to use the app on a tablet with a pen and elements didn't stay on place, kanban kept resizing as I touched the screen, it was pretty uncomfortable and annoying.

Maybe resize and format the text. A good example is the rhombus. I'm personally trying to diagram dialogue options, and it feels kind of strange. Resizing is okay, but sometimes that compacted-ness could give it that organized feeling. The auto scrolling too, when resizing. I don't know, it felt off to me. Maybe too fast or sensative? That doesn't bother me as much as the unformatted text though. Otherwise, great app.

As a viewer it's fine. As an editor it's barely an MVP. UX is clumsy and inconsistent with the web version, it doesn't really support the layers that can be created in the browser version and a whole lot of features are just missing. In theory my subscription is paying for this app, but I can't see the value in it. The alternative is using the browser version, but then I hit performance issues. A touchscreen device should be amazing for flow charts, and it is, over in the Miro app.

I fell in love with this app. I frequently use graphics to explain my ideas to others. I found Lucid chart to be both intuitive (very quick to learn) and highly functional. I never got into the collaborative aspects of the app. The reason I did not purchase are: 1: I do not like the software subscription model. I would have paid $50 for the app with the expectation that I would pay for upgrades and fee per incident support not related to a fault. 2: The $100/year subscription price is too steep.

It's amazing... How horrible it was, despite the professional outlook of this app, it was the exact opposite of that, It was so horribly slow till the point that I'm not even sure if it's gonna load, because it has never once loaded for me even after 20+ minutes on a blank document , if u wanna know how horrible it was for yourself u just need to download the app and try to create a new folder, the app couldn't even process and tell you the fact that the folder is empty

Worst piece of garbage I've ever downloaded for my Chromebook. I was unable to change from portrait to landscape in a Visio file I had previously created & zooming is disabled. So you're stuck with a tiny sheet to view. Not at all usable. Starting a new document from scratch proved to be nearly impossible. I could add shapes to a drawing but could not move or edit them in any way. I uninstalled this junk & will look for something better, which shouldn't take much considering how bad this is.

The app is unecessarily confounding. I just wanted to make a simple ER diagram. I found the template easy enough, but the app tells me it is "view only" with no explanation of why or how to change it. Also, I can only apparently have 3 diagrams on the basic account? You might as well just charge for the app upfront. Regardless, even if I wanted to pay I won't do so for an app that can't even manage a simple ER diagram without being unnecessarily confusing.

I use the web version and love it but the app is useless. There is no way to make the font within a box different sizes or colors. When I try to change one row it changes the whole box. Also, when I double tap on a box to make revisions, it holds the whole box automatically and changes the font size to 8 automatically. Now my wbole chart is messed up.

It's almost usable. Unfortunately, formatted some colorful text but went plain text when editing any Rich Text objects using this app. The Free unsubscribed version includes a very limited number of objects (about 60, and it counts connecting lines, too). More importantly, the next step up from free use is an expensive subscription, like so many other developers do, which isn't worth buying into. Even if the app worked properly, the subscription is not really designed for the casual user.

I don't recall seeing up front that after a week I would no longer be able to edit my projects. Switches to view only status, which I expect is to sell an upgrade that I didn't even see an option for. The program work great aside from that but I am moving on to another program because I don't have time to figure out how to upgrade and it should have been up front that this is free to try software with limitations.

Usless on a tablet. All elements keep moving while Spen is hovering. And it seems there's no possibility to pin the tools toolbar while working on a diagram

This is a great app that supplements a great web service. To maximize value, get a Lucidchart subscription and use the full Lucidchart in the browser as well. It's a fantastic tool for visualizing ideas and sharing/collaborating with others. This Android app is a great addition for when you're away from the office and need to view or tweak your documents.

Terrible Android App. No option to reflow the diagram when making a simple flowchart, so my boxes just stack on top of each other. When trying to add a shape it only draws the arrow, I have to manually select the shape each time from a pop up box, scroll down, select the shape every time. I would expect Some better basic functionality from an app I paid $100 for.

Perfect! I love to create diagrams, and now every features I need is available on smartphone! 5/5 would rate again.

I originally had a problem that made the experience horrible. But it was my fault, a lady in customer service got in touch with me and tried to help me resolve my problem. I figured out the problem by myself (You'll never have it if you're a normal user) and she forwarded my issue and solution to the dev team. Word of advice: don't have your WebVeiw implementation set to Chrome Canary or you're going to have a bad time (unless they've fixed it by now) Oh and I'd give this 4 stars if people viewed star rating systems the same way I do. 4 stars meaning "perfectly fine" and 5 meaning "rocked my socks off amazing"

Good app/plugin but VERY deceptive marketing! They say it's "free" but it's not. There's a "complexity limit" that you cannot go beyond without giving them money. I don't mind paying (everyone has to make a living), but I can't stand deception. I was 3/4 through migrating the first of our mind maps when I got the bad news: Complexity limit! Do better, people! Be honest and transparent. It isn't that hard.

I gave this app 5 stars for personal reasons and the reasons others have given. The web application of LUCID CHART gave me an A grade in UML in object oriented modelling as a computer engineering student due to their amazing contents with simplicity, accuracy and efficiency.I wish to humbly give my sincere and heartfelt appreciations to the Lucid software inc family for these amazing platforms .I descovered ,loved and am ready to tell others about you.

I'm rating 5 star 🌟 the most satisfying app which made my job easier and time saving for making cool flowcharts Since I used latex it takes lot of time to code and make chart , this I found a better than anyone. Cool 🆒️ 😎

I won't lie , this is a great app. it is super eazy to use and there are many options there are grids according to which you can place blocks right where you want and costumise lines connections even add text to the connecting lines . It really deserves 5 starts it have every thing you'd ever need. Thankyou so much lucic chart for making this app . I would really recommend you download it .it's best for office and school works or making score boards or leaderboards .
