?It's purported to be the best app for 3d imagery. If this is the best, then the others must be absolute garbage! It's nowhere near adequate for what we actually want, namely, an app to take decent 3d images. I have three lenses on the back of my phone, but it never seems to use them properly, just seems to use it's own AI to create depth, and ALWAYS makes the depth TOO DEEP! it's basically making a 5 metre distance into about 50 metres, and there's no way to adjust that. Half the time, it just says "Unable to generate 3D preview", and the other half the time, it says "Unable to capture photo". If you want a review that makes it look and sound great, make the app look and sound great! I REALLY wanted to like this app, but in it's current, broken, non-functioning state, it is inherently unlikeable! It would be good to have some kind of online presence, with a help wiki, to be able to get problems like this worked out, but there isn't anything. The facebook page is ERROR 404, and the group is gated, with no admin actively accepting new members. I'm not sure how long a person is supposed to wait for access to the group, but eight weeks and counting is a bit excessive, in my opinion!

Isn't finished. The CRUCIAL function of depth editing not available yet. AI not advanced enough on its own. Could get close, but for pics to be worth it you need to edit. Now you can't do anything except add filters from weak selection of low-grade options available ANYWHERE. "Tap to change bokeh effect" does nothing. App automatically crops the image you choose with no input from user. Sorry I paid for 3 months thinking app would open up. Should not be charging for people to beta test their app

It's a good start, and I'm sure they are still working to improve it. AI could be much better. It does a good job separating foreground from background, but the background fill-in stiil needs work. Right now it just fills in the missing areas (spaces originally behind the foreground object, exposed when you try to look at the object from a different angle) with a blur. It should do some intelligent filling based on the nearby areas and textures. Perhaps give the user choices of how they want it.

Very frustrating experience using the app. I logged in as a guest to try out the features on offer. I kind of liked the basic features, so I went ahead to try out so called "Super" user features with 1 month's subscription. Money got deducted, I was able to login as Super user now, but once you logout and log back in, you are again treated as a non Super user. Moreover, their 3D frames also didn't work. Developers need to have a serious look at the apps functioning. Very disappointed!

Heard about it from a CNET article. Concept sounded interesting but the reality of it is far below that. I am actually quite amazed at how bad the end result is and I don't understand the processing. It tries to derive a 3D effect from a 2D shot and unlike Google's PhotoSphere, it doesn't even have you try to take multiple photos to capture more depth information. What comes out is a warped, smeary mess like a painting that got dipped in water. Not at all believable even with low expectations.

Edit Sept 14, 2020 : App unable to generate anything. Great app for making images in 3D form, which can be later shared as gif, videos etc. It has a number of frames of your images for great 3D effects. And the subscription for advanced features is very affordable. Though free features are enough for anyone to get the most work done. Kudos to the LucidPix team. 🙌 Just expecting the home page to be updated/refreshed frequently with new post every few minutes (rather than hours).

Very nice program. I wish they gave you a little more control. Be able to adjust how much movement is allowed to keep it more realistic. I gave it four stars. They make a little adjustments in the program. It'll easily be a 5 out of 5

Worst app I have used in a long time. It's extremely naggy, the interface is hard to use, and the photos don't use my depth lens and use a really ugly depth algorithm. The settings button should be on home screen and not profile. The share to Facebook posts automatically even when you hit later. You can't get the photos in your gallery app and if you mistakenly hit share to gallery it goes to the lucidpix community with no way to unshare it.

I am so disappointed. After downloading the app and in app purchase I'm only able to create a 3D picture. Will not allow me to access frames or any other features. Everything keeps saying coming soon, coming soon. What a waste of time and money.

Very clever. However, it doesn't use the 3d capability of phones, or their images, so creates unrealistic 3d images. Also, the depth is excessive so it tends to emphasise the artificial element of the 3d effect.

Disappointed in the app. I can't seem to access any of the pictures on my phone. The only folder it finds is the download folder and there doesn't seem to be any way to select other folders on the phone. The first picture I tried to take came out looking like a fun house mirror. I don't think this is ready for prime time. Certainly not worth the hype. More of a novelty toy than anything useful. I might play with it a bit, but it will probably be deleted before long.

Don't like the movement, makes it look stupid. If it created the effect without moving it would be fine...yes the gif movement destroys the effect...makes it useless ..the 3d picture before it started moving was good...but afterwards, it was usekess...finally if that's the only way to create it slow it way down....the fast movement speed makes it look stupid

Its actually an OK app! Ever since the Depthy website went down, ive been using this for a while for edits. Although, the depth isn't the best.. The image looks stretchy and sloppy when you strech too much. Please add a feature when you can choose certain parts to make 3D or add layers. :>

This was working really well about a month ago, but now all I get is transfer error connect to internet. Please fix the server issue and I'll change my rating. I already have the latest version 11/2/2020. **Update- after uninstalling multiple times, the server issue seems to be fixed now. 4 🌟- Not 5 b/c of the useless response the first time.

Very cool. I thought it was going to be a slower app by the initial prompts and instructions but it's super fast and does an awesome job automatically turning pics 3d. So far I haven't had one come out other than how I expected. Very cool app. Definitely worth trying.

Kudos for uniqueness but the $30 yearly subscription fee for the premium version leaves a bad taste. That makes this the most expensive app I've ever encountered in 6 years of smartphone use of hundreds of apps. It's a price I personally would never pay...not even a one-time $30 fee. A shame...

Its really bad. I try it with several images and all 3d processes was a failure. Automated crop which decides the parts that have to be focused on target were really really bad, blur background which was trying to give user any kind of 3d feeling was a disaster. Also i noticed that there's wasn't any user GUI for editing the preselected crop(if someone's can name that thing a default 3d try). Trying honestly to understand why it have 4.4 on ratings

It's the best 3D app out there! Super easy to use and makes my boring photos fun. You can share on social media after turning a simple image into a life-like experience. Can't wait to see how the app evolves in the future!

Facebook wh n posting photos has 3D option for the picture your posting... This app has more photo editing to tweak your photo even more... Pleased so far.. more photos with more background to try and see what changes for 3D images can be had... This keep in mind is a free app... Great job in it's creation and for the public to enjoy..

Very glitchy. It blurs my photos when I move them around in 3D and the app causes the rest of my phone apps to glitch. Ve tried several different photos and still have same results. It's a shame because you all have some great backgrounds.

I have been charged twice for the purchase of yearly subscription. Both the transactions reflect on my bank account. I even emailed you. Haven't received any response. Could you please look into this. Your product is great but please do focus on customer queries too.

I am using Android 10 and I wish I can control depths. Most of my upload pictures had haze, white clouds around the portrait. Only food pictures turned out okay. I think that if I am allowed to control depths, the pictures would be a bit better.

3 massive failures on Pixel 4XL. 1) Confirmation link for email login takes me to Google search. 2) Using Google login gets me to an infinitely repeating ad for app with no way to use app. 3) Shut app down, restarted with Google login & picture processes fine but no 3D effect. It would appear that images need a viewer that I can find no link to download.

Great 3D! I have been into 3D for a long time, and used to take all kinds of photos with perspectives to give the most amount of depth, but this app makes my life so much easier. You gotta know what looks good in 3D to gain the most out of this app.

The app does what is expected, but the free version requires an annoying watermark and photos must be uploaded and processed on a remote server. Is all that necessary? Seems to be a lot of red tape just to get a picture.

I don't like the app. They stretch the image so bad that it comes out completely wrong. Most of the time it stretches the image that the hands are on the one side and the head on the other. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone

Bad app hard to use, no customer support, no ability to save image map on phone, and that a big problem because you need image map to adjust the 3d picture. Pricy software with very little to do.
