Luke's English Podcast App

This podcast is one of my favourites, even though I am not a beginner in English language, I absolutely enjoy the simplest explanations. Lol. Luke has definitely got a great voice and a good sense of humour. I have recommended LEP to many of my friends, who were non native speakers. Thank you for keeping this amazing podcast free. It truly has helped me improve my vocabulary, and gain familiarity with the English culture, as I live and work in the UK.

Love this app, the way of narration of the stories is very good, first took me more time to understand but I kept listening the stories helped me to improve my listening. I can recommend this app for listening practice even though for beginners.

It's a fabulous platform indeed. Thank you for having your podcast Luke. It's really helpful to us. It's quite beneficial for me far more than in my school when it comes to learning language. More power to you and your whole family.

Overall a good app for listening to LEP. What I miss is a feature to mark an espisode as 'listened' or 'watched'. Also, when downloading multiple episodes concurrently, the progress numbers displayed don't match. Sometimes an episode has a progress bar but I am not downloading it. The correct episodes are being processed, though. Only a visualisation matter. The content itself is first rate. I am a premium subscriber and Luke really puts some serious effort into this. Highly recommend!

It is very useful program to learn English from native speaker. Luke have a special way to teach English and it is very simple and effective method to teach non native speeker. At the end, tons of thanks Luke.

Superb useful and convivial application. True British English speaking. Plenty possibilities. Very usefull for someone studying to pass advanced english examination. You can also lower the speed of the speech. Fall asleep listening (timer) and wake up with their included alarm clock listening to a wake up motivation or your favourite episode. Definitely a very valuable app.

I downloaded this app a few days ago and I'm already getting addicted to it... Luke is great, really clear in explainations and he has a wonderful english accent, so it's easy to understand what he is saying, even if you're not so good at listening as I am. A great opportunity to learn something new while you improve your english skills. I highly recommend this app to everyone. Now I'm listening to the oldest episodes, I think that the transcripts are really useful.

Great app for listening those lessons. One of good points is easy and fast ±5 sec rewind, and stepping back few about a second after pause (really useful!). Unfortunately lessons list scrolling takes too long because there are 600+ lessons. I'd prefer some sort of grouping like 1-60, 51-100 etc.

Very helpful and good for your english. I highly recommend English learners to download this app. From my own experience, it helps me learn English not just from the borning books but through engaging conversations. If you haven't downloaded it, don't hesitate to push the download button.

Luke's English Podcast is my favourite english learning podcast. I give 5 stars only because of Luke and his work. I think this project deserves much better application as this one looks as it was designed in the `90. You cannot even check when your subscription ends which I think is the bare minimum you should expect from app like this. Nevertheless, you are the best teacher on Earth, Luke! Thanks for your help. We really appreciate your effort and time put into this project.

Nice app. Three things to my opinion would be nice to have - access to full sound and prints archive and possibility of sorting by date. Overall, the best podcast for those who want to advance their English. Thank you Luke!

This app has everything I need. Large stop/play button for practicing pronounciation, convinient rewind buttons and posibility to open transcript in the same window. This is easy to operate and looking nice. Thank yoy so much for this useful app.

Never knew that British sense of humour could be so straightforward and transcultural until I started listening to LEP.. great app for foreigners who crave to learn and absorb the British accent. I do appreciate the wonderful interviews and the whole lot of new and useful vocabulary.. it is quite fun, informative and right to the goal!

Great podcast. I think this is the best podcast for learning English. But the app is a little bit old style. Maybe a fresh design and better usability can be game changer for it. Again thanks for the great podcast 🙂
