I've been using this app for almost 10yrs, I have 15 different DVRs and 11 NVRs on it. Works great. You need to know what your doing setting it up and SnapOne (formerly SnapAV) does a great job supporting the app as well as their line of products. I have never had a problem with this app, it works flawlessly every time.
As a professional automation system installer these cameras and app are frustrating! I have input the same information that my coworkers have on iphone and their app works and mine doesn't. this app hasn't been updated in nearly a year and isn't correct for modern android phones. Additionally, this camera system using the 510 series is absolutely awful for installation! The engineers that approved this are imbeciles. We will not be purchasing this system again
App constantly crashes. When trying to see playback, it will work for about 2-3 minutes. I have to hurry to find the video I'm looking for before all the screens go black and start spinning. Not user friendly. Looking for another app compatible with my cameras or maybe need to replace the nvr.
This app keeps going out. It's not as easy to use or not responsive when zooming in and out and you can Accidentally delete or move the cameras around. This app would be great if these things are fixed
Every sense I installed the app I get network error on my phone very annoying. Cameras can take forever to load at times and other times won't load. No push notifications get annoying emails. Not very thought out app
**Update. I thought it couldn't get worse but it did. Cameras wont load on Wifi or Cell now. They also don't last very long for the price. Almost Three years in and I've already had to replace 4 cameras. Cameras never load if you're on a cell network Kind of pointless if you're not home.
Does not load cameras. Get connection failed everytime. Router ports are forwarded. Looks likes lots of others have issues as well.
Does not have a 'go back' button, you have to restart the whole thing to go back. Also only has 4× zoom. That's way too slow.
Average at best. Limited settings and adjustments. Very buggy and unreliable especially given the premium price tag on Luma cameras and equipment D+/C- Just looked at other reviews and I am not one. Beware of Snap / Luma / Control4 products $$$
The cameras on the phone app are so over exposed I can't see anything. I need to know how to fix that. On the PC app the cameras are fine. It's not great quality but it is what it is.
I hated this app when it worked, now it needs an update from the developer or it can't work with current Mac operating systems. As far as I can tell--the developer has abandoned this app.
Can't access the menu in landscape mode. Some devices don't allow portrait mode.
Over Exposed feeds!!! Please fix ASAP Update 4/26/21. Any update to this yet? Pixel 5. App is useless if I can't see the video because the exposure is basically turning the feed white.
This app is so hard to use. Sometimes the camera works and sometimes it doesnt. Thr camera quality isnt even that good. You cant even hear anything. I advise not to get this.
I expected better from SnapAV. This app hasn't been updated in over two years and doesn't work on the newest version of Android. Absolutely ridiculous.
Bad UI and user experience. Hard ro retrieve video. Often crashes.
"Detailed App Instructions" for my two T-Mobile Moto G-4 &7 Androids I found difficult to follow but did work. My chromebook not yet connected. Would be nice if there was a "help line" or FAQ page for assistance.
Always has bugs with each phone I have upgraded to. Currently displays network connection error each time phone is opened.
Av professional here. App works great when system is setup correctly by a professional. Not joe shmo in the garage. Never have any problems and snap av is very helpful when we do.
App updated and now I cannot access my cameras. Frustrating, to say the least.

Bad connectivity . Runs constantly in background network connection errors from it everytime used.
Worked great until the update on feb 2 2020 now cant even open app it says luma has stopped any help on this issue
Only works with the iPhone (I guess) as it certainly doesn't work on the Samsung
Navigation icons are missing on Chrombook. Can't logon.
Extremely disappointed in this app. Many smaller bugs that would be super annoying in themselves. But most importantly, the camera feeds drop on the app all the time (it's not the hardware, the internal feeds NEVER drop) and you continually have to "re-add" both/either the NVR or the individual camera feed you want to see. I'm using a full blown pro network and their flagship NVR. SnapAV (parent company) have been aware of these issues for many months and still have not done anything.
