I had a lot of trouble with the apps/installation, but the support offered was fair and helpful. I was a novice at smart lights, and a few things would have been helpful to know before hand. I had help from Lumiman both on the phone and via email, both very fast. After figuring out some of the issues for our household, i'd offer the following reviews post successful integration: Pros: Good lighting, better settings than another smart bulb I have purchased. Customer Service was very fair and helpful. Once integrated to Google home, I've had no issues Cons: Setup was hard. I have a split Velop system, and I had to call them to separate the signals. I did not know most smart devices run on the 2.4 Ghz. This too a LOT of time, and I wish the instructions mentioned this clearly. The app for Lumiman I found not helpful, but the Smartlife app they suggested has worked well, and does not kill my phone battery in the background. Overall, after the support, I did make another purchase of more bulbs.
Absolute PANTS. Doesn't link with anything else despite saying it does. If I wanted to turn lights on & off having to have my phone attached to my hand I'd use the light switch. Choose a brand that ACTUALLY DOES link to Alexa etc as this is pointless.
Compared to other smart home technology, this one seems to fall more on the dumb side. Overall, it is limiting in what you can actually make your smart tech do.
Works very well and has an alarm system to help you wake up (light turns on at desired time). But sadly the widget for your home doesn't work and just says: loading...
Please add a dark mode setting to the menus on the app. The light bulb control screens are great, but the bright white backgrounds on everything else are jarring and hurt sensitive eyes.
App works decently. But for the love of god, please, when you COMPLETELY OVERHAUL YOUR UI: Let us know, and give us a guide. Other than that it's looking really good i like the new style, once you learn how to use it everything fits really nice
Connectivity is great, works with my Alexa well. The only issue is the software on the app is awful and basic in terms of customization and layout.
Works flawlessly for 2 of my bulbs, but doesn't work for the other 2, which are the exact same. Thankfully Alexa can control everything.
The only issue is after a power outage it takes way to long to access the light and it stays on until you can access it to turn it off.
Love these bulbs and the app works great. Only snag is while I can control the lights fully on the app i cant do the same through Google Home. Still, great app and smartbulbs.
Terrible product that will randomly connect when it wants. Had thier lights for a year Nd nothing but issues connecting. Buy a reputable brand and not some knock off rubbish
Average. Gets the job done. I just wish it could turn on/turn off the lights at sunset/ sunrise like WEMO.
Won't even go into how much features it's lacking, but at least make the widget work!! I don't want to go into the app every time.
This app is completely broken. I've contacted the help team and informed them of the issues and they assured me they would be fixed next update but every update the release the app gets more and more broken.
Group feature is broken in this app. Use the app called Lohas Smart instead. It's from another company but it's compatible with the Lumiman bulbs and is a nearly identical interface.
Completely useless now the App doesn't support my 5G wifi network so I can't pair it with my smartphone which is the whole point of getting this now the only thing that this bulb can do is just work as a regular light bulb I will be returning this and getting my refund!!!!!
Works great. Dont know why this app is ranked so low. If youre not dumb with electronics its easy to set up and stay set up.
Created a group of my 2 light bulbs, when I go to control the group, the app hangs at a black screen. So I'm unable to control both bulbs at once
I have the app on my phone and like that I can turn lights on and off when I'm not home. Works great with Alexa too!
This app is rubbish you cant even set it up as it tells you it has been set up multiple times even tho it has just been downloaded and never used.
Very reliable and always works. There is a slight delay but it always works
None of the bulbs are responding to either the phone app nor Alexa. They worked for almost week then stopped.
Have bought 4 tunable whites! Great for adjusting the room ambiance, even without Alexa or Google Home.
Does job easy to use however I have to search old installed apps to find it on new devices can't find it in the search otherwise great
Works to control all lights and sockets I got. Mostly use Google home to control.
App doesn't work anymore for controlling groups after updating it's "UI panel".
Not working on iPhone 7plus or 11pro+. Says upgrade to latest. Uninstalled reinstalled.
I'm very impressed from a hardware point of view so far. Good brightness and color range. The software is quite basic and could use some features light smooth transitions through It's color range like other similar products have. The app also doesn't function properly on my Samsung tablet which is inconvenient. For example I am unable to change colors via the tablet the color ring does not display.
