Lunar Rescue Mission: Spaceflight Simulator

Almost! This is very nearly an excellent game, but is ruined by very long, exhausting levels which you have to completely restart when you leave them for a bit. As an experienced Kerbal Space Program player, I find the vehicle control realistic, (a little more realistic than KSP, even,) but you can't force players through landing after landing after landing like this. Games which let you walk away at any point and save your progress at that point are good games, this is just evil.

At first it was hard and I wanted to reverse the left right controls but couldn't figure out if I could. Documentation is non existent. But when clicked the menu button one of the items displayed was a reverse tilt controls. After that, with some practice and patience this has become quit a fun and challenging game. Minus 1 star for lack of instructions.

Awesome simulator. Nice crisp graphics. Efficient story. The controls take a little nuance and concentration, but they are intuitive enough and easily explained at the outset. Once you get over how easy it is to over-rotate it's great. If you need a game to slam the jets to 110% all the time this is not the game for you.

I want to like this. I like the design and the physics work well. But it's way too hard to control the lander. It makes you use both thumbs to control thruster AND rotation simultaneously. You spend all your time trying to stop it from spinning. You can't even think about the landing. The controls need to be more like the original arcade Lunar Lander, which was already hard enough. There was no need to make it more "challenging". It needs to be one thumb for rotation, one for thruster.

I love the challenge & it's a great game, but something needs to be done about the "scope". It shows the general direction of where you need to go but Not how to get there. Trying to remember & guess where you've been n relation to where you need to go is Very Frustrating. Allow the game to let the lander refuel each time it lands on a pad for rescue. I don't like the idea that I have to buy the game just to progress past the 1st 6 missions. Please change that.

Great game and atmosphere. Maybe a little too easy. Though, the only thing I'd really have against it is the way the conversations disable flight controls, which kind of disrupts the flow (especially on levels where the conversation starts before you've landed and, with disabled flight controls, you can only sit and watch as your ship crashes)

This game has so much potential but falls right over its own two feet. The devs have used such a brilliant physics engine for a mobile game but that's about it for ups. The rest of the game just feels clunky and unfinished - the UI is drab and not informative. Fuel amount doesn't save so go nuts with checkpoints - oh! But then you won't get a star on that level! Did you know that? I didn't until 5 hours later! Complete a level? DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING! In my plays doing so reset the level! 2.5/5

Terrible game. The graphics are good and the idea is good but it has been done badly. All the ships break at the slightest touch,the controls are way over sensitive, if you land something 1 cm out the ship breakes and it says mission failed also the top of the screen is missing and you can't see the fuel bar. The small lander always goes into spins and when that happens the game stops responding. It is so bad I can't even finish the first level after 1 hour of trying. Don't install this app.

Excellent! Great graphics and game design, controls are super easy, more free levels and missions in the mothership please. I completed the game without crashing with smooth landings all the way so I dont understand why the critical reviews. Also if this planetary body had gravity, lateral thrusters may not be effective plus its a game, perhaps "Spaceflight Simulator" is not the best choice of words.

4 and 1/2 Excellent game everybody whines it's hard to control, but believe me that's probably the first few times useage until you adjust, remember its space. I strongly agree about the refuelling otherwise your doing check-points & (if you want to) chase the bonus pick ups to find you drained (by fly or difficult landing spots) all your fuel before reach the mothership resulting in going from the previous checkpoint but losing stars by missing the pickups. Developer prob won't update folks

Fantastic little lunar lander game. Highly recommend. You can disable adds and buy extra levels in game, but there's also a pro version which works out cheaper, so I recommend trying this version and if you like it go and get the pro version.

the physics of this game are pretty good although not perfect. and the game IS hard ... much more difficult than i would have expected from a game that you'll pay less than $10 for ... and i really, really appreciate the addition of the ability to mute the music guys ... thanks a lot!!! The ONLY reason I did not give this game 5 Stars, is because it's a fairly simple game, meaning not very complicated, and there's GOT to be some room left for things that are better.

I just finished the 2nd level and afterward it wouldn't let me do the third level. What do the stars mean? Why is there a person counter? These are things the game doesn't explain. This could be a good game if they spent more time explaining it and working out the bugs. Update: Having finite fuel makes it less fun. I just did the level where you are supposed to drive the buggy onto the cargo ship but the cargo ship never lowered the ramps. Update: Cargo ship won't let me control landing it.

Not realistic to play up the challenge. The lander is very uncontrollable, you will be barely hanging on to control more than you will be in control. When you switch to the rover the problem gets worse. It's way overpowered as you go along it will flip and be destroyed more often then be on the wheels. The only reason that they have done this is to make it more challenging there is no way that actual Rovers for this kind of mission would have this much power in them for no apparent reason.

It's great and not easy, it's not supposed to be. It takes focus and practice. Stop crying about the difficulty because the reward is not rushing the game we have enuff games with easy beginnings. Once I reversed controls it made a big difference.

This game is really fun. It might not be for some people, but for me at least the controls were fine and I got a feel for playing almost immediately. The only shlrt coming I think is the relative lack of content for the polishedness of the game. Also it costs money to advance passed the first 6 levels out of 18 total.

You did not make it easy , it is a good game but you can improve navigation display ,control different settings. Also if humans are good info to be traveling as far as the moons of the outer planets we need better birds than thouse that were used in the 1960'.

Awful. Absolutely awful. Things break at any kind of impact, and it's so hard to control everything! It took me a good ten minutes just to land the ship without it blowing up, and when I finally did land it, the ship was still damaged. On top of that, there is no built in way to stop or reverse, making it even harder to control. And the developers only respond to good reviews, so I doubt that they even care about this game anymore.

I love Lunar Lander games. This one is, I think, the best Ive ever played. Good story. Compelling missions. Decent graphics. Perfect physics flying. Dreamy "cosmos"-like soundtrack. Just simply well done! EASILY worth the .99 ad removal charge. I only wish there was an "Exit Game" button.

A simple liner lander game. You only get 6 levels to play for free. So about 30 mins of game play and then it's over. I still cannot figure out how to earn stars for each level. Thought I tried everything. Over all, there are much better lander games out there.

Beautiful graphics, realistic physics, nice gameplay. Would recommend the inverted controls option, although this feels natural for me. I like it that there are different vehicles. Good game.

Great game!!! People who say its to hard you need to calibrate your fingers to the game it won't accommodate your inability to learn the basic physics of the game. I have no affiliations with this game or the creators just have extra time on hand to play. I can spend a good 20min at a time just flying around picking up lost space explorers.

Money thirsty people, the missions needed to unlock the sandbox mode will never get 3 stars at any kind of perfection in the mission, because their the personal tab shows ? With the personals numbers all the time even you go to all points and pick up everyone and everything, then also it's still like that, Example: personal tab?0/2 all the time

Controls are horrible. I've played lots of lander games and this is the worst by far. Has potential, but you start out in a roll every time, because somehow the thrust is unequal. More frustrating than fun.

This game is God dam difficult but fun at the same time takes a while to properly learn the controls. But I do wish there was a easy mode just to learn how to play the game. Otherwise very enjoyable game even tho I've been stuck on level 2.😕

Can not figure out how to get 3 stars. Haven't received anything for saving the stranded people. Otherwise, this game is amazing! Actually takes some concentration, but is fun at the same time. If the credit for saving the people is fixed, I'd change to 5 stars. Really fun game to play though.
