After a day or two after reinstalling the app, the app freezes on its grey start-up screen. Only after removing and installing again, the app is able to work again. When it works, I really like it!
Just bought the watch . Beautiful watch but thats about it . Can't create an account in the website , can't get the watch to connect with Bluetooth and even if it does look to be connected it isn't . Give me the message that I need to enter a code number which I never get anyway . So all in all pretty lousy web connectivity and Bluetooth compatibility .
I have problems maintaining BT connection so I again looked for a solution. Uninstalled old app and installed this newest version. When I open the app screen shows the LunaR screen then goes black. Plus to get a functional phone back I had to restart my phone. Bad software/BT
Developers and support always behind in software up-dates. This creates connection and functionality issues.
Every update makes me hope this will actually work. Can never get the watch connected to my phone. Very disappointing.
Update: Not sure if the BT connectivity is the problem or something else. I stop getting notifications on the watch and then I need to open the app again to sync the watch
Since 1.1.13 Dsconnects over the night, open the app is when it syncs/connects, now I need to have connected to bluetooth as input device in order to work, wont auto connect after disconnect(walking away). Love it when it works. I wear it daily. I also had it at 4 stars before 1.1.12. no improvement from 1.1.12
Not super featured considering the potential. Some less critical asks: weekday alarm freq rather than Just daily. More options for smart buttons. Chrono functionality and date functionality like my old fossil hybrid. Also.. what about all those extra white lights.. let's use those
10/10 update fixed it. Notification works too. Thanks 10/9 update crashes on lg g5 upon launch. Running Android 8. Nothing works. Please fix Notification does not work - nothing is pushed to watch from phone ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After version 1.1 the Bluetooth connection is much improved. At least I don't have to reinstall to re pair anymore. Solar charging is very weak. Put it under the sun for whole day it only registered 1 hour. And battery level keeps going down
Latest updates have set battery indicator to 31886% and similarly skewed sun harvesting data. Connection still intermittent, often needing to cycle Bluetooth. Shows connected in Bluetooth devices but app just doesn't see it until after a few reconnections. Don't have this trouble with other devices.
I have never reviewed anything on here before but felt this was needed to warn others. This app and the watch are terrible. I have installed so many versions of this app and none have worked, all crash the phone completely. Customer service is very slow to respond and answer ever time is to install the new version and try again. They will not let you return the watch. Whole company is a scam, stay far away.
Hi LunaR Team, After almost 4 weeks, I am having the same issue. The watch no longer connects to the app. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth but, there is no connection to the app. Despite re-installing and re-pairing the device, the issue persists after a while. Please look into this as it the watch doesn't feel smart anymore. Now, I have also noticed that Solar charging the watch in sunlight doesn't charge the battery (at least according to the app). I had kept my watch in the sun for an hour. The battery percentage went down by 1% instead of going up. This really defeats the purpose of Solar charging. Please look into this, I feel this all started during the few updates for the new feature of "raise to wake". Awaiting your reply.
It's not a pulse oximeter, but it is at least going to give the basic info that I need to see if and how much I sleep etc. Also really like the sun up/down data and how it is presented, along with very infrequent (if ever) charging. Plus looks awesome. That said, the sync is terrible. Hope they fix it or open source their code.. Update: they keep working on it, but it still has some issues. The times for sleep are off by a factor of 2 or so, and the sync is still off. Also power management is not great, requiring once a week charging.
After the last watch firmware update it is not staying connected to my phone / app anymore
App 1.1.3 is very good. Reconnect is good. I'm getting a update notice that doesn't seem to be doing anything, just freezes. Something I would like is a way to check connection on the watch. One more thing, contact notifying only flashes when ring stops or voice message??
Definitely improved over time. Still have a ways to go. I'd like to be able to customize the notifications which trigger the watch to buzz. E.g. WhatsApp messages only from a certain group or person. Customizable duration and pattern of buzz would be great as well. Being able to use the other buttons with a pattern to trigger further actions (double press to get battery life to the closest 10% for example) would be extremely appreciated.
Update Aug 14 watch does connect but does not seem to sync data anymore. No battery stats are shown and when I use find watch function nothing happens
New version is working a lot better, but today the app crashed. Removed and reinstalled, but still crashing. Something with the find device is making the app crashed.
Latest update, 1.0.27, crashes on load. I was hoping it would fix the unreliable, at best, bluetooth connectivity. the alarm/rest reminded function doesn't work properly - I wanted to test the sleep tracking/reminder feature so I set a bedtime alarm. I quickly realized how silly it is to have an alarm go off to tell you to sleep. I went to bed before my sleep alarm and the watch started vibrating and it woke me up! After that I turned off the sleep alarms but the watch refused to stop reminding me. So I tried setting the alarm to only one day a week. No luck. Now the stupid watch reminds me to go to sleep everyday at 1230PM instead of AM and then goes into sleep mode in the middle of the day!
As of today 8/22/18, still nothing but a black screen and a locked up phone upon launch. I see the lunar opening screen and then everything goes black and phone locks and app crashes. I emailed customer service a couple of weeks ago and no response. Still having MAJOR issues even after this latest update. After accepting the newest agreements the screen goes black and locks up my phone. I have the original Google pixel and it's running PIE operating system. I have sent an email to support also. But this is getting so annoying! I've barely been able to enjoy any of the features of this phone since I've gotten it.
I got the watch about a month ago. Was excited to see how everything works. I like the simplicity of the look. The LED lights are something I really enjoy and helped me not feel pressured to respond to notifications since I can't see the actual notification but just know it's there. It is a little bit for my wrists and struggle between it being too snug or lose. Great concept however their have been consistent issues with getting the connection between phone and watch to stay, to reconnect it can also be a process, and getting it to locate or be located by Bluetooth. I'm still having issues with the watch not connecting and am tired of uninstalling, repairing the Bluetooth, almost every other day. Done with trying this watch out, will wait for Google Pixel watch instead. Do not reccomending this watch until the company has had a couple years to get it right.
Upgraded app and firmware now watch won't pair to phone even after countless uninstalls and restarts... not sure if it's smart now cause I can't reconnect. It was working good before the update

The app doesn't open
I love the watch and simplicity of the app. However, once the app and watch disconnect, it's difficult to get them to reconnect. The watch also doesn't charge so well in the sun (like a citizen watch). But the battery does last a very long time regardless. Good idea, but falls just short of expectations.
In the weeks that I have attempted to use this app it had maybe connected to the watch 5 times. The only way i found to get it working again was to use the "forget watch" option and reconnect. Well I did that a week ago now and have yet to get the app and watch to reconnect. Went back to my Fitbit.
No way to get watch to connect to app, either through bluetooth or USB. The watch shows connected via bluetooth, but no connection to app. Lights aren't explained so there's no way to figure out what's going on. Support website also has no info. Very disappointing.
Even when my phone constantly says it has a Bluetooth connection to the watch, the useless waste of app space says it doesn't.
Fairly good app and watch. Is there a legend for the sleep and activity charts?
Every other update I have connectivity issues. My watch was staying connected more with the previous update. I now can't leave for a second without it disconnecting. My watch connects to my phone but the app doesn't recognize that. I get no notifications. I know the quirks of turning it off, ect of getting it reconnected but this needs to stop. I bought this watch in Febeuary, I've seen yall through but this unreliability needs to be fixed. Edit: this app and watch connectivity is still terribl
