The camera to this app seems very nice for it's size. However the connectivity is terrible. It takes a long time to get it to connect and setup and then once connected the app keeps crashing after about 20-30 seconds. I think this would be a great camera if the connectivity and app was fixed. I'm returning it.
Doesn't send motion notification alerts if the app is not running and connected to the video camera, I expect the app to run in the background and receive the alerts but it doesn't work, therefore for security purposes is useless... It connects on demand locally and remotely though. I'm returning the device (USB power adapter camera).
Like it so far.Image very clear. Uncertain about security and this concerns me. Still have not been able to connect to intermet stream and security issue is big. (on all fairness. Have not had time to connect) if all is good then a 10 other wise if security not good much less) Still will give a 10 for image visability.
Not reliable as app crashes and Freezes most of the time. Very easily detected when red and blue lights flash indiscriminately making the "spy" camera visible for anyone to see. Although my network works with everything else that's WiFi (streaming Apps & TV) its NOT my network that is the issue as they insist it is in there trouble shooting page.
App works as intended for the most part until you decide to add further security to yout camera, attempt to listen to audio from the camera, or close notifications easily. My main conplaint is that when I changed the camera's administrator password from the default of LUOHE to something else this app will always fail to connect without asking what the new password is. There also are some notification bubbles which are in chinese which needs to be fixed for English users.Please fix these problems.
1) Doesn't stay connected to the camera. 2) Frequently have to recycle power on the camera before app will reconnect. 3) Smartphone (with app) must connect to camera's WiFi (i.e. be nearby) to monitor the camera. 4) Everytime the app starts, you have to reset the motion sensing capabilities. 5) app loses connectivity to the camera everytime a motion sensed video is stored. Video download crashed the app or camera. 6) All notifications of events go through the app. Cannot send to an email or SMS.
If it disconnected and you cannot reconnect it,just go to the app settings and see if the camera is still connected. Go to cam app tap permissions and make sure it's still connected. Under app settings on your phone. Sometimes you have to reinstall up then do the above.
the app works great! it was difficult to figure but once i did it work perfect great video can view from anywhere. if having problems connecting or finding device. make sure ur wifi name and password is just letter and number NO SYMBOLS or it wont connect. if have any questions contact me ill walk you threw it
bought three devices, all of them have no sound. I've deleted the devices and apps many times but an issue hasn't been resolved yet. I emailed somebody that's on the contact list but no response to date
So far no problems, but I do keep getting a weird notification in Chinese and it gives me the options "cancel" or "ok". I keep hitting cancel because I can't read Chinese...
It's decent. However, it takes to long for the app to connect to the device. In a moment where you need to see something, well you can't since it takes like 5 minutes to connect or longer.
A bit unstable but does the job. Just an o Casio al freezing if the motion detection is selected. You have to delete and reinstall the app for it to work again.
this app does not keep the camera connected. the camera never shows video it just keep jumping from online to offline. this is so aggravating after I went out and spent my money. now I will have to send it back to find something that works. best to stick to my other cam using p2p hd mini cam
crashes, never connects, Chinese error messages, useless app. Would use 3rd party viewer, but no idea what password is to access it. Another terrible china knockoff.
Camera works but I am gravely concerned about the fact that one of the largest and most brutal spy network agency in the world owns this company, the Chinese Communist Government. I do not think its secure and would not recommend it. There are Chinese calligraphy all over the app that I cannot read.
Terrible product that could be good if it had more Development and didn't have to restart all the time and disconnect from cameras causing issues connecting...
great until? app use to have a sound button on off deal no button anymore no sound great picture no sound otherwise 4 stars at least but now it's useless to me and I'm really upset about this what happened update app undo whatever update you did cause it SUCKS
it used to work... after an update,, I get error exceptions and NO icon for sound.. it keeps disconnecting
Garbage Chinese knockoff app. Doesn't connect to the camera. A Chinese message popped up while using the app, don't know what it pertained to. Sad, bigly sad.
Very disappointed! Could not connect to the device or the wifi. This is not a 5 star product and a RIP off at the least!
The app keeps crashing. As well as super difficult to connect and stay connected
will not connect to network. does not like connecting to devices, Tab S or S9. terrible interface in broken english. will ask for refund.
Can't get it to bring up camera. Keeps saying WiFi is too far away when the camera is less the 2 feet from it. Junk junk junk
Have to cycle power to the camera or app. often and not too many options but clean and clear when working
This app works well. No issues yet. Stays connected to my wifi and i can view my home while on the go.
Does not work. Does not stay connected once you leave the room. Device always goes offline. Waste of money for camera
Poor app and poor product. Device lost connection after 2 days and hasn't connected again.
lost the sound button after update, need to know how to get it back , emailed company few times never received a reply.
Picture is good...but it takes fore ever to get connections n once u have it ...it crashes.
The app works but there is a lot in Chinese. the entire support website is in Chinese as well and yet they are selling their products on Amazon. Had to lower my rating. After trying to download files through the app became such a pain... you can only download one at a time and manually since there is no "download all" option. also if you go away from the app the download stops and has to reset. Best to just pull the card to get the videos.
