Lux Meter

Measure the ambient illuminance in lux (lx) or foot-candle (fc) with your light sensor.
Simple application to detect the intensity of light. Check and compare the illuminance of different light sources. With recording function (see below).

The measured values depend on the accuracy of your light sensor. It may differ from real illuminance and between different devices.The application only works if your device has a light sensor.

* Unit: lux or foot-candle
* Minimum and maximum values
* Diagram with average value
* Adjustable sensor sensitivity
* Calibrate if the sensor's values differ from real illuminance
* Choose your layout color
* More settings
* Application can be moved to SD card

RECORDING FUNCTION:Record the illuminance for up to 16 h 39 min. Select the recording time and the number of recorded values.The data can be saved or exported (for example via email).

This app is awesome. The most useful mobile app ever, of course for me! I cultivate some plants. And it helped me to calculate the light intensity of my grow room. I dont need a lux meter (which is realy expensive in my country) anymore. And there's another cool thing in the app which enables you to record the data of the received light during a period of time. I'd really suggest you to download it.

Calibrated with an industrial meter. Calibration couldn't be easier. Enter your phones reading, enter the reference value and it automatically calculates the offset. Once calibrated it is remarkably accurate. Outstanding app. Thank you!

Easy to use. Always handy. When compared with Lux meter, there is little difference in position

Its unusable because you cant see the numbers because its white on a white background. Is there a way to change the color of the font?

There should be an option to purchase removal of ads.

It says the app was made for older version of Android. Please ask the publisher to upgrade app!

Useful as it has a calibration factor. As standard a one plus 5 sensor over reads but with a cal factor of 0.75 it gives an accurate measurement at 500 & 1500 lux with a tungsten source. As with all phone based lux meters, and all the cheap real ones, the results are junk unless they're calibrated.

One area of improvement could be to turn off the screen during measurement, since it has an effect on the ambient illumination.

No need to do conversion just select the units and hold it flat looking up and it provides accurate readings.

Not accurate.. I installed in two devices, it show different amount of lux at the same area and at the same time, update : sorry for my misunderstanding, now I think there is no app that can measure lux precisely in Android.. I give 4 stars bcos I appreciate the developer for making a great app..
