As a luxmeter you can measure illuminance (density of luminous flux incident on a surface) from 0.1 to 250000 lx.By using the app in "exposure meter" mode you get an easy to use incident/reflected light meter and you can determine the proper exposure for a photograph.LxMeter supports measurements of flash lights and can trigger a flash using the Bluetooth connection of your smartphone.During flash mode the app can display the percentage of flash in total exposure.LxMeter can also deal with landscapes or other distant objects by running its spot meter mode; you can measure luminance (cd/m2 or foot-lambert) and correlated color temperature (CCT).
You can specify ISO speed and exposure time and let the app show in real time the optimal aperture value or set the aperture and read the exposure time.You can easily switch between shutter speed priority and aperture priority or just run the manual mode and take note of the exposure level indicator.
LxMeter allows you to add some notes to your personal archive. Exposure and location information will be added automatically. You can save all the notes about a photographic project in the internal archive and use them as reference later at the time of the final shots.
Please, note that for maximum performance this app requires the external sensor SS04. As alternative you can use the internal light sensor of your phone (if it has one) but in this case the accuracy of measurements will vary depending on the phone. Slow and unusable interface on Samsung A7.
Took 16 minutes to skip the tutorial
Great! Minor bugs like 'unable to find sensor' after return to activity.. Resolves after reselect sensor.
This app worked perfectly for me on a Lenovo P4502 running Android 4.4.2 The zoom function is particularly good allowing me to meter exactly where I need to. Great job. Joe P.

I went all the way... sensor, full license. For what you get, it's a deal. I now carry one tool the size of a small matchbox, leaving home a dedicated meter, batteries, and a charger. And it works great. You can adjust the app to suit your own tastes. The developing company makes all types of sensors and that gave me confidence. Tech support is fantastic and timely. One warning - the Samsung keypad does not respond inside the app, try Google or SwiftKey keypads; they're free. It's a Samsung issue.
It's a light app that does what it promises
I thought I'd like this app as it had an option to use my internal sensor light without an add - on sensor. However, EVERY SINGLE TIME you start it without the external sensor it makes the most irritating loud beeping sound and you can't work around it by turning it off. There seems to be no setting to prioritise the internal sensor and it does not remember your previous settings. Instantly uninstalled and will use another app. I
